Overall sentiment towards Chemist Warehouse is mixed, heavily split between appreciation for low prices and product variety, and frustration with operational inconsistencies. While many customers report positive experiences with specific helpful staff and good everyday value, a notable portion of feedback highlights challenges with customer service, long wait times for prescriptions, and difficulties with online ordering and return policies. Consumers looking for affordable products may find the stores useful, but should be prepared for potential customer service and fulfilment inconsistencies.
I've always loved buying the glucojel jelly beans not happy that you've changed the brand to gello beans they are not the same the outside is too thick and sugary with not much flavour inside now I have to purchase them from other chemists.
Visited chemist warehouse garbutt today with script for ozempic, the Asian chemist advised me that my doctor had not fully completed my script and my payment would be over $140. I rejected the product went to another chemist with the same script and paid $25 for my product. Thanks Terry white NO thanks chemist warehouse!!!
I bought an Oral-B Vitality Pro from Chemist Warehouse at Parramatta Westfield, but found it's a faulty product as the motor doesn't work at all even fully charged. I brought it back to the store today asking for a replacement or refund. But the manager on duty denied any resposibility, she was rather rude and impatient. Bad product bad service! Show details

I just got my parcel today and was very emotional. I felt ashamed, embarrassed and mad at the same time. I ordered online and the store that provide the online order was in tenancy t5,joondalup,wa,6027. I order 2 bottled of exclusive vitamins for my friend's sick daughter, I was excited calling her and did unboxing together but I was devastated… Read more
seeing hair shampoo and conditioner and even detox soap, this not even the same the amount I payed. The delivery cost was too high but unsatisfied with the items I received. I got traumatized and felt being scammed to what I got. It was double the embarrassment since I ordered it for my friend which I will bring abroad. I was very upset. Still waiting for their line to open. I called like 5mins before closing and the guy told me just call tomorrow since we are closing. Wow. I will not call in the first place If they do their packaging very careful. As if I owe them too much time while the time I need to spend to get in touch with them and ask to what I payed was nothing? Let see what actions they need to do, this was a waste of time, money and effort, this feels like emotional damaged.

I have been a very loyal customer to Chemist Warehouse for many years. Last week I bought cenovis woman vitamin 15 bottles and other products to send to family In overseas, it come to my schock they send me three months to expire date of 15 vitamin bottles. I called the customer service to return the product. They said they do not have policy to… Read more
return for vitamin and they do not recommend Customer to buy bulk for vitamin supplement but In their availability we can buy up to 20 unit in each vitamin . Now blaming the Customer for buying too much. The customer service woman told me that they can sell any vitamin supplement as long as they have more than one month expiry date. I told him to understand that it’s a lot of vitamin and this is scamming for me. unfortunately she can’t help me anything because her boss say no. For me this is a rip of a scam. They just wanna get rid of their almost expired product and not care about Customer. I never thought Chemist Warehouse would do that to a customer.
Delivered in 15 minutes, in full. I will purchase from Chemist Warehouse online again.
I am a regular buyer of Systane Ultra, as I use two vials every day. I was disappointed to see the price increase from $13.99 to $16.00, yet the product is now labelled as "CLEARANCE." When the product was priced at $13.99, there was no clearance label. Applying a "CLEARANCE" label only after increasing the price seems misleading and ethically… Read more
questionable. Clearance sales are normally associated with reduced prices, not higher ones.
As a loyal customer, I expect greater transparency and fairness in pricing practices from Chemist Warehouse.
The site didn't indicate (clearly at least like other sites) that I wasn't buying from the Chemist Warehouse but from a 3rd party. Those 3rd party details are not listed. Their website put the wrong delivery and Billing details into the order. Their support is useless. I have now contacted the 3rd party seller. Hopefully this gets sorted out before shipping as it probably can't be delivered.
The earrings at chemist warehouse are falsely advertised the packaging say stainless steel and recommended for sensitive ears.. I've had my ears pierced for 20 years no problem until I bought the chemist warehouse Huggies and my mum bought the dream catchers and we both suffered from ear infections had to take them out ... They put unsealed products on shelves and refused to exchange. This Tuesday, I bought a Blackmore vitamin E 500 IU from this store. When we bought it, it was the last one on the shelf in all this class. So we took it and pay directly. We found it was opened and unsealed the next day morning. When I found them and requested an exchange, they… Read more
call their manager. The manager said she checked the footage and insisted it was sealed. But she didn’t show me the footage and refused anything exchange.
This is a serious problem, because it is kind of food safety problem and business dishonest.
Inc whey Protein 25g protein 1g fat 1g carbs has lept in price for a 2kg tub to a whopping $194 .00. Think they must want to kill the INC brand as that is a ridiculous price rise
I bought a 500-tablet bottle of Fish Oil on April 29th online but it expires in December 2026. Even if I follow the maximum dosage (2 pills a day), it's impossible to finish the bottle before it expires. The store is clearly clearing out old stock without considering consumers. My previous purchase of the same product( bought march 2025 ) had a much longer shelf life. Be very careful and check the date before you buy from this Nowra branch!"

APPALLING CUSTOMER SERVICE, LACK OF POLICY TRANSPARENCY & MISLEADING SIGNAGE. They won't let you try on knee brace & then don't let you return it when it's the wrong size. They have a tape measure, but you can't measure the height of the product & it is not listed on the package. The signage it right up the top of a 6ft shelf, so you don't even… Read more

They say they have a 7 day return policy, but it is nowhere in store & not on the receipt. The manager literally had to print off a policy from their back room & left me waiting for 10 mins while she had to try & find it!! She says it says it on the receipt. NO IT IS NOT!
On the way out the SMART BUTT AUSSIE ([photo Removed]) literally pulled out an ad from below the counter for a kids toy & pointed at the fine print & said it's here, while laughing. HELLO?! It is the fine print on an ad for a kids toy & not my product & you expect me to see the fine print from 5 metres away. WTH?! What a freaking joke!
How many other people have been ripped off in this way?!
We ordered $74.15 cosmetics products online and after payment it was showing some of the product was out of stock. Later, I didn’t get any product and the amount was also not refunded.
Returned a product as was faulty when I took it home. Returned to store to exchange and manager refused and accused me of breaking the seal. This does not make sense as I am exchanging for another one then his attitude becomes arrogant. Don't need this for an item worth $4. Not shopping here again.
Awesome service with free delivery for purchase I made today- amazingly fast!
I recently purchased an item from Chemist Warehouse Kedron (Rode Rd & Gympie Rd) and unfortunately discovered when I got home that the box was torn and one of the two items inside was missing. It appeared to be old or damaged stock that had been put out during the Christmas period. When I called the store to report the issue, I didn’t receive an… Read more
apology or any acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I explained that I didn’t want a refund — I simply wanted the same product replaced. Instead of offering to check other Chemist Warehouse stores for stock, I was told the item “cannot be ordered anymore” and that I would need to come back to the store myself. Considering there are many Chemist Warehouse locations across Brisbane, I felt more effort could have been made to assist or at least reassure me.
The lack of customer care, especially during a busy season, was disappointing. A simple apology or an offer to check other stores would have made a big difference. I hope the store reviews its approach to customer service, particularly when dealing with faulty or incomplete products.
I got caught three times in one week: selling by deception, wrong prices marked, and being charged twice at the counter; twice prescription medicine was charged excessively, more than the printed price on the labels. When confronted, they refunded. But if you aren't noticing, they syphon money from consumers in big time. Show details

Service – It seems it's more important to stock selves than to serve customers waiting at checkout in a very long cue even after one of the cashiers ask for backup at checkout 4 times. I observed one employee filling shelves with nail polish for over 5… Read more
minutes while waiting to pay for my medication. I'm sure it must have been very important to stockup on nail polish. Not sure anyone would bother using this retailer that will be my last visit
Follow-up · Not a lot has changed since my review 12 months ago long queues at checkout with only one or two checkouts open. Waited an age to perfume left without buying it.

Elizabeth, Smith field and Munno Para chemists. Either no stock or no staff or up to 45 minutes to an hour wait. If you want customers and to take over Symbion and Terry White well lift your game. I worked at Symbion for 11 years and once Sigma took over CW a few good workers got sacked or made redundant. I understand this is how employers work, but they are not nice to their staff or customers. I don't want to give my patronage to Symbion, but on numerous times I have had to. Not happy. Get your stock which I can get at a Symbion supplied chemist. Put on another Pharmaceutical in each CW. I DON'T WANT TO SUPPORT THE OPPOSITION.
Follow-up · I haven't been to CW for a couple of weeks. I still pull.like to use this chemist, but service needs to improve before I do. They need more staff.on a Friday and a Saturday., especially in dispensary. Staff treated me well especially with the stresses they were under. Often my puffer and Ozempic is not available. Pull your socks.up as I want you to succeed. Stick it up Symbion.
Follow-up · I don't go there anymore. I don't have the time or the energy to wait.

I bought 2 of Dermaveen body wash below a week ago from Chemist Warehouse and when I realised I tried to return it to Chemist Warehouse they said they could not swap it as I do not have a receipt Because when I bought it they asked if I want a receipt I said no .Who would have thought this would be an issue Appears to be a straight and easy fix to me.It is not a return it is a swap so no money lost I meant to buy 2 of the Daily Nourish but picked up the Extra Hydration which is very runny .I have already opened 1 of them so realise I cannot return it. You would think that being as it is labelled "chemist warehouse" it would not be an issue
Guess what the manufacturer is sending me the correct ones and I am returning the incorrect ones all because CHEMIST WAREHOUSE WOULD NOT LET ME SWAP
CHEMISY WAREHOUSE YOU ARE SH...............................................
Follow-up · I have not been to chemist warehouse since and I will not go back there unless I have to . I have not had a decent response from chemist warehouse. I encourage others not too as I feel they advertise incorrectly. They do not care about people only money . I wasted $40 because they would exchange their own branded product .
Follow-up · I very rarely go there now . No c/s worthy of me going there .

I went to this same Chemist warehouse a few days ago (Pimpama) as reported in my initial review, and I was pleasantly surprised; I was greeted very promptly, the person behind the counter was most polite, and although the wait time for the medication was a little long (I appreciate both chemists were very busy), on bringing me the perception, I… Read more
was addressed as “Sir” with an apology for the small delay. Since my last review of this establishment was quite negative, I thought it prudent to write a review of this more recent experience. Thanks, Chemist Warehouse, for the most recent positive experience.
Shirly, my sweet sweet Shirly The joy you brought to my visit to your store will be told to my grandchildren’s grandchildren, you are a once in a generational sales associate I hope you’re carefree and humbly joyfully existence helps more people like me find their perfect zinc cream products Bless your heart send my love to the kids Ps. Sefton Park branch, I have taken my scrips to a small local Chemist because the service and the wait time is better BUT I’ve had a couple of really good experiences in Chemist warehouse (Sefton Pk SA) lately looking for men’s aftershave and sunblock moisturiser. Both times I had Gabby help me and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. I’ll come back for those types of products and hopefully Gabby or someone like her will help me.

Carindale Hopping Centre store. Placed order with express delivery within 2hrs $100. Delivery was not made to my address and the stores’ solution to resolve was to say -we will refund your order and you should get refund 2-3 days. They engaged the delivery company - not me and l have to wait 2-3 days for a refund and no products and now no time or added money to source elsewhere. Completely no care policy. Show details
Increased price of Radiant Classic washing powder 500 grams from $1.99 to $2.49. Same product at Reject Shop for $2.25. On top of rude staff I prefer to shop at the Reject Shop.
Frustrated with this mob! Ordering online or in store is a harrowing experience. Takes days before an online order gets processed. Walk-in takes at least an hour. Obviously understaffed and pharmacist on duty suggest escalation of complaints.

offer help. I found the product then asked them how long id need to stand there before they deemed me worthy of help. It's absolutely disgusting that this is where we're at in 2026. There is no service
You'd think l would have learnt, but have ordered from chemist 5 times in perhaps 10 months. And each time, within a day or two have received confirmation that my order has been cancelled. No reasons given, no out of stock, would you like to wait or have a refund choice
