old school fan at minimum speed (and they move more air). And full speed on these things move a LOT of air (while still being fairly quiet). The mic was very sensitive in the videos, so I tapped a pen onto the table to give perspective of the sound.
The inbuilt light is great, 3 colour temperatures and many dimming levels. More than bright enough for a 3.6x3.6 room when needed, but also dims nicely for a quiet dinner.
The remotes are clean looking, non-finnicky and easy to use, you can pick your speed with one button click, they are radio too so you don't have to point them at the fan. Their wall mounts are also sturdy so you don't have to pick up the remote to hit the buttons while it's on the wall (which is great for walking in a room and turning the light on). We have yet to experience a summer with these, but our experience so far with them tells us that they will deliver wonderfully!

Follow-up · The light has variable brigtness and variable colour e.g. from warm to cool. I have the brightness about half and it's bright. Still gets annoying droning sounds like normal ac fans – Takes forever for the trashy remote to turn the fan on. an aircon, so use it more than this thing. It is quite on other speeds and does move a lot of air, but the droning is so bad its like someones left an exhaust fan on in the ensuite and il often go check the other rooms incase an aircon was left on, only to realise its the [Content Removed] fan buzzing away. Its also ugly looking with its 3 odd solid white blades. I wouldnt have bought it, but was here when we got the place.

starters and worry whether you are choosing the 'right' brand etc. However; making the decision to buy 5 Claro Whisper DC fans and had them installed by a qualified electrician, was the best decision I have made in a long time. I am so happy with the fans themselves, they are super quiet up to a medium setting, they have 6 speeds and just saying I haven't gone past speed setting 3 as yet. They look very stylish and I think they would suit any style you have. The electrician was very happy with the fans in regards to the ease of installing them; they sit nice and flush to the ceiling....not sure if it's the electrician's installation, the fan itself or the house builder....haha. Great product Claro and thank you for selling a quality product at an affordable price!
Follow-up · The total time to install the 5 fans was less than 2 hours....they only had to replace the old fans. As I had stated I haven't had to use a speed greater than 3, which is the half way point. I find that with the fan set to 3 the airflow is quite sufficient and cooling for temperatures up to and including in the low 30's. The remote control is very easy to understand and use.

instead of looking like a motor, three blades and a base the whole comes together as a unit. With the Claro the blades don't meet. I think had they met it would just have given the fan a "finished" look and when in motion you would see the white of the joined blades instead of a black gap between the motor and the base. BUT having said that still a cute fan. Function: I think that the first speed on the 44inch fan could be lazier and inversely the top speed faster. Remote: The remote lets the fan down - it's overall clunky. I have the 44inch fan installed in my bedroom. My specific problem is that no backlight or indicator lights come on when you operate the remote so that if you wish at night to change speed or turn off the fan - without disturbing your partner by turning on a light - you are left in the dark - literally! Also there is nothing to indicate at what speed the fan is currently running, so whenever -day or night - I want to increase or decrease fan speed I am left pressing buttons until I find the right one - clunky. Having said that the great thing about this remote is that you can change the mode from winter to summer at the touch of a button - very convenient
