Ecosa Cooling Pillow

I am one of those people who have spent hundreds of dollars on pillows trying to get comfortable. Having a free trial made me feel confident to give the Ecosa pillow a go. I am really happy with the pillow. The contour is soft but supportive. Happy to recommend this pillow. Show reply

You really can feel a difference with this cooling pillow, however you can’t use a pillow protector with it, unfortunately. This is my second escape pillow and I love the shape and how versatile it is. Highly recommend. Show details ·  1

This pillow has been a game changer. I usually get neck pain because pillows don't have good neck support. This pillow has amazing neck support as well as back support and it's cool and super comfy. Wish I had found this product sooner. Show reply

I've been contemplating this review for a few weeks. As for the "cooling" claim, it's misleading. The pillow doesn't cool you down, it's just less hot than regular memory foam. I also dislike the marketing around the perpetual discounts. Seeing a constant "sale" from $210 to $168 does nothing for me.

A video of it rolled up made it seem travel-friendly, especially with the height pads for different beds. The bundle setup (pillow, multiple height pads, and travel accessories) adds to that appeal.

The biggest downside is how long it's taken to get comfortable. It took me around five weeks to find a good sleeping position, despite the endless Instagram ads promising the best night's sleep. None of my previous pillows took this much adjustment.

I also dislike the lower side of the pillow. It feels poorly designed for sleeping, though it could work as a wedge when lying in bed using a device. I use the higher side, but unlike most neck-style pillows where the other side has a slight lower contour, this one is almost flat. The higher side also feels a bit too high for comfortable long use.

Another issue is the overall size. Even with only the 3 cm height pad installed, it’s a tight fit in a standard pillowcase. When compressed, the pillow feels firmer than intended. I can’t imagine how it would fit with the larger height options installed. I did try 4 cm, and it confirmed my point, but it was too uncomfortable.

I'm still within the trial period and undecided. The height pads are the main reason I'm leaning toward keeping it, but seeing the non-cooling version advertised as the best-seller also makes me question whether I chose the wrong one and whether I'd be better off with that instead.

you aren't constantly flipping the pillow over looking for a cold spot in the middle of the night.

- You can change the height: This is a massive plus. Usually, buying a memory foam pillow is a gamble because you don't know if it'll be too high or too flat. Being able to adjust the height meant I could tweak it until it perfectly fit how I sleep.

- Great support: It has a really nice, supportive feel. It shapes to your neck and head nicely, giving you that comfortable, weightless feeling without waking up with a stiff neck.

- No weird smell: A lot of foam pillows smell like a chemical factory when you open them, but this one was fine right out of the box.

It’s definitely on the pricier side, but if you’re a hot sleeper who is tired of wasting money on pillows that don't fit quite right, this one is absolutely worth it.

If you have neck issues this may be good for you - it has been good for me. I used it without a cover to get the cooling effect but I did not notice it much but that may because I have very thick hear. When I didn't use a cover I noticed the material fray very slightly so I would recommend a cover.

The material is soft without losing support. I used to have to squish my pillows around to get a shape that works but this does it flawlessly.

I was offered a discount off my next purchase for submitting this review; however, everything I've said is completely honest and I'll probably put the discount towards buying a second of these pillows.

It was time to replace our old Ecosa pillows and I was thrilled to see the new cooling pillows as an option. Pillow arrived very quickly. It fits my side sleeping style very well, I love the cooling aspect add on as I tend to get very hot during my sleep. Unfortunately I can’t rate it 5 stars as a product due to after 2 days of use, the pillow case started fraying and strands of threads are all over. Team has reached back to me and after trimming off the balls of fibres, it is a little better.

And if I was to want a replacement pillow case, it will be a 2 month wait, hence making me just keep my existing defect one.

Unfortunately this pillow is the opposite of cooling - it heats me up and makes sleep very difficult. Added to that, it hasn’t helped my neck pain at all and I just don’t find it a comfortable fit for me, and it causes me to snore when I don’t usually. Show details

The Ecosa cooling pillow is a hands down winner. I purchased two of them a month ago and my wife and I love them. They are adjustable to suit your personal preference and they really do feel cool to sleep on. The pillows themselves are comfortable and I like how you can adjust the height of them with the inserts. Once you have a pillow case on the cooling effect is not really noticeable. Without the pillow case they are nice and cool, but not very aesthetic. Show reply

I’ve found the pillow to be very comfortable. I’m no longer waking with a sore neck and shoulders. I find it somewhat cooling, but nothing extraordinary. Overall I am very happy with it. I really love the pillow. Show reply

Good product, cooling is noticable, but not perm. Would not suggesting upgrading from the standard version to this, but would opt for this version over the standard version if you're new to the brand. Show details ·  1

I have a protruding cervical disc issue where it can impact the nerve and cause awful neck pain and muscle and shoulder stiffness. This pillow helps immensely by providing the correct support needed when I sleep. Show details ·  1

comfortably now. It also doesn’t go flat easily, which makes it feel reliable night after night. Overall, it’s made a real difference to my sleep and I’d happily recommend it.

night was instant relief. I did have to get used to not sleeping in funny positions, but once i was lying properly it was even better. When i had any questions the customer care team was very helpful and responsive.

This is the best pillow I’ve had in 63 years!! I’ve struggled to be comfortable with all sorts of expensive and cheap pillows over the years. I feel like I’ve hit the jackpot with this one.
