App keep deleting my map, so says to do the whole house clean every other time. Also the side brushes lasted only couple of months and there are no cheap replacement. You have to buy the whole kit from Ecovacs for $60. Show details
It's a good product for homes with tiled and/ or wooden floors. Easy to operate and does a great job, especially picking up dog hair. Only feature that could be improved is the setting up of virtual "no go zones". I have set up 'No go zones but I found it difficult to mark small areas with accuracy. Show details · 1
Might be good but unfortunately setup requires either 2.4 Ghz or Mixed 2.4/5 Ghz Internet connection. I had bought two (one for me and one for my mother) but as I only have Internet in my house via a 5Ghz hotspot from my mobile phone (works great for me except in this situation) then the setup process on the app won't progress to the next step.… Read more
Even using my Laptop to connect to my phone and then using the Laptop to then create a Wi-Fi for the app to connect to still results in it not being happy with a 5Ghz connection although I did have my phone's 'Extend Hotspot to 2.4 and 5Ghz' turned on. Called customer support twice re this issue who were helpful although they indicated that the setup won't work with my connection method so I ended up returning both units to Aldi the next day. Ecovacs please release a version which allows just a Bluetooth connection or connection via my (Android) phone's Wifi hotspot. Update : Ecovacs responded promptly to my post and said they will take on board my suggestion of a Bluetooth or Hotspot connection option in the setup process.
I’ve been loving our Ecovacs Deeboot Neo 2.0. It’s saved me so much time around the house as I now no longer need to vacuum daily. It was super easy to set up, the app is easy to use as well. It got to work straight away mapping our house whilst it was vacuuming at the same time! Very impressive! I also love how you can see the progress of the… Read more
cleaning on the app. It shows exactly where the robovac has been and the areas it’s cleaned. It also sends itself back to the charging station when it’s low on battery and then will resume cleaning when it’s charged! The battery life is awesome - 180 minutes so it’s more than enough to clean our 200m2 house. It gets under all of her furniture is good on the rugs too and gets all the kids crumbs/dog hair off the floor. The mopping feature is okay. I think I will still have to mop the house myself every few days but I can’t fault it for the vacuuming! Honestly, this has been a game changer for me!
I have got ECOVACS' home robotics cleaning with the DEEBOT NEO 2.0, a great solution for cleaning. It is easy to operate, all that you need is to download the App, connect the mobile and let the floor mapping happen. Once that is done, all that is needed to let the cleaning happen and you can enjoy your time. It has 5000Pa Suction Power - this… Read more
level of suction power can clean so well and dry mess on the floor. The 2-in-1 Vacuuming and Mopping means it doesn’t just vacuum – it mops at the same time leaving the sparkle floor clean. its a total gamechanger.
Deebot neo 2.0 supposed upgrade – Pros: larger dust catcher; cleans well when it works Cons: it was very painful and frustrating trying to connect it to the wifi! Took me 3 days to get it fully functional; larger back wheels makes it try to climb obstacles e.g table legs which then makes it stuck; keeps getting caught on fire hearth ( 3/4“) which then makes it stuck, again!… Read more
Continually gets caught'robot is off the floor' repeated many times as it is stuck again! When you do a map and number the rooms to be cleaned, there is no 'save' function as there was on the old model deebot neo therefore it does not save the map you have made so it does is own thing2. Set to start at 9am every day (saved start time) which does not do I have to do a quick start full house clean every time. It does not do a full house clean. Dust catcher removal is awkward as you have to press a catch at the back of the unit which is (sort of ) hidden. Continually says main brush is tangled: no it's not; I do not recommend this model. The original debit neo was so much better!

Quiet and helpful – We purchased from Aldi based on a review for the 2.0 Plus model. The Plus refers to the emptying facility which this one doesn't have. Apparently it's noisy, and not necessary for us. This robot works fine without connecting to WiFi. We simply press on and away it goes, following the same pattern. It picks up a lot of pet fluff. Very impressed.
