I recently upgraded from an ECOVACS X1 to the X11 expecting a significant improvement, but after living with the robot I have been left disappointed. The X11 is marketed as a major step forward, particularly in its AI capabilities, navigation and roller mop system. However, in day-to-day use I have not found these improvements to translate into a… Read more
better cleaning experience.
The biggest issue for me is the software. The X11 offers less flexibility than my older X1 when it comes to customising cleaning behaviour. I can no longer easily set different suction levels and cleaning preferences for individual rooms, which was a feature I used regularly.
Floor type detection has also been unreliable. The robot often misidentifies surfaces and does not consistently detect carpet correctly. This affects cleaning performance and means the robot does not always apply the most appropriate cleaning settings.
The AI assistant has been particularly disappointing. It struggles to understand basic instructions and simple questions, making it feel more like a marketing feature than a genuinely useful tool.
Navigation has also failed to impress. Despite the newer technology, I have not noticed any meaningful improvement over my X1 in how the robot moves around the home or plans its cleaning routes.
The roller mop system was another feature I was excited about, but in practice I have not found it to be a noticeable improvement. The cleaning results have been comparable to my X1 and certainly not enough to justify upgrading on that feature alone.
Overall, while the X11 is not a bad robot vacuum and mop, I do not feel it delivers the level of improvement expected for a flagship upgrade. Based on my experience, the X1 provided a better balance of customisation, usability and overall satisfaction.
I want to like this vacuum, but in the first day I've noticed two issues – one show-stopper, and one just annoying. 1. It struggles with pet hair. It picks it up relatively well, but when it goes to empty the dust bin into the main station, the main dust bin clogs at the top with pet hair. I've run it multiple times now, it clogs every time. The… Read more
only thing that seemed to help once was forgetting to put the filter back in the top of the dust bin in the station. It seems that the filter significantly reduces the suction power in the station, which is part of the reason why the hair isn't being properly sucked down to the bottom of the main dust bin. Looks to be a design flaw. Have logged a case with Ecovacs but I suspect this will be getting returned. 2. The mapping interface in the app needs work. When you try and zoom in and make changes, half the time it thinks you're trying to rotate the map. Then when you try and rotate it back, it thinks you want to zoom. They need to fix the multi-touch handling.
If you're thinking about buying, please reconsider. It's fiddly to remap after the first time, really not great at carpets, and there are excessive small parts replacements required. Small parts are ridiculously expensive and so, working in engineering and fabrication, I assume this is intentional by the manufacturer to make extra money after… Read more
already charging a decent amount for the vacuum itself. I've only had it a month and already replaced the small brush twice and now I have a message saying the bin sponge needs replaced. Given the price of this equipment, I expected so much more. Definitely recommend having a look at other models before considering this one.

The DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone has been a huge help keeping my house clean with my dog. The PowerBoost Technology, powerful 19,500Pa suction, and OZMO ROLLER handle pet hair and spills effortlessly. The bagless OmniCyclone Station saves money long-term. Really impressed so far. Show details · 1
I’ve wanted one of these robot vacuums for so long, and the ECOVACS DEEBOT X11 OmniCyclone has honestly lived up to every expectation (and then some). The app’s super simple, I just tap it on after the kids finish eating or before bed, and it does a full vac and mop while I get on with life. The PowerBoost charging thing is awesome, it tops… Read more · 1
itself up so fast mid-clean that it never really stops. The OZMO ROLLER 2.0 handles dried-up spills like a pro (goodbye, sticky milk patches), and the BLAST Technology actually picks everything up in one go (even cereal and crumbs that somehow end up everywhere). The OMNICyclone Station is bagless, so emptying it takes two seconds and there’s zero mess.
It’s one less thing on my never-ending list, and I wake up every morning to spotless floors. I’m love it.

I've got the deebot omnicycle a few weeks ago & am amazed at how thorough & meticulous it is, I did not think this level of cleaning was possible so for me its a total game changer. It will scan & create a map of the area to clean, the vacumn is very effective & the cleaning action even gets into the grooves of the boards leaving my floor… Read more · 1
looking new, the bristles work perfectly getting in & around skirting, door frames & furniture. Highly recommended if you are looking to save time & get a detailed clean all in one, you can control it with the app, easy to use, has been totally reliable & performs same standard of work each time

everything too wet, which I love. The OMNI Cyclone Station is a total lifesaver because it empties itself (no mess, no effort). And that PowerBoost Technology really comes through when it switches from tiles to carpet you can literally hear it step up a notch.
It’s been running around my place for a few weeks now, and I barely have to think about cleaning anymore. It maps everything out perfectly, goes back to charge on its own, and even picks up dog hair I didn’t know existed. If you’re lazy about cleaning like me, this little thing is actually worth it.
