Trinidad Scorpions were the standout with 5 of 6 planted sprouting, along with 4 of 6 habaneros; all making it from the greenhouse into pots. Not much luck with the Carolina Reapers though, with only 1 of 6 sprouting well enough to plant (I had 4 of 6 Reapers from another source sprout), but the one that made it’s very healthy. But these are… Read more
pretty particular chillies! If you’re in a cooler climate make sure you use a heat pad to help your seeds sprout!

Dear Happy Valley Seeds Team, I am writing to express my sincere gratitude for the exceptional quality of the Tulsi (Holy Basil) seeds I recently purchased from you. I had been searching everywhere for this specific plant, as I truly believe Tulsi is a symbol of peace and spiritual well-being. It was very important to me to have its calming… Read more
presence in my home garden. To be honest, I was a bit apprehensive about whether it would grow on my balcony, as it receives no direct sunlight. Most guides suggest that Tulsi requires several hours of sun to survive, but your seeds have proven to be incredibly resilient. Despite the lack of direct light, my Tulsi has not only survived but is genuinely thriving. I have also attached a video with this email. Thank you for providing such high-quality heirloom seeds that have allowed me to bring a piece of peace and greenery into my space. I will certainly be recommending Happy Valley Seeds to my fellow gardening enthusiasts! Warm regards,
I have been buying seeds from Happy Valley and recently bought water spinach and Malabar spinach seeds. They turned out really good quality seeds and I’m enjoying fresh veggies daily
I have just harvested my first batch of potatoes! Thank you very much for the seeding potatoes
Delivered quickly and beautifully packaged. I love the look of the new seed packets - very classy! I now have 47 varieties of tomato seeds on the go, mostly heirlooms, and I’m looking forward to the annual challenge of growing them in our cold climate. As they say around here, “Oberon is cold for nine months of the year, then we have winter!”
The plants have grown really well just waiting for first flowers - Squash - Sunstar F1 seeds
I am very disappointed with the recent purchase with happy valley seeds. I was excited to order some purple potatoes and see what I get from the order, old soft tiny crinkled potatoes I am not even sure they will grow and they are not cheap, I also ordered purple brocolilli and they gave me celtuce. My god so terrible will not buy anything from there again.
- +1
TOTAL DISGRACE got seeds from them, one set are not what I brought and the other two packs are moldy and with fungus, contact them and they didn't want to take responsibility, just took my money and no chance to send them back or exchanged NEVER AGAIN RUN FROM THEM WIRSE EXPERIENCE EVER
Each seed potato grew and I can’t wait to harvest. I planted them in a few different containers to see which one was best (see attached photos). Can’t wait for harvest time - Seed Potato - White Star

Growing broccoli sprouts has been such a rewarding experience! Thanks to the easy instructions, I had fresh, crisp sprouts ready to eat in just six days. Highly recommend!
Very good germination rate. I have several plants. The ones in the sun are growing faster but all doing well. Looking forward to munching on them.Plants are still fairly small but it is midwinter.Nice wavy leaves.Very happy overall.
The potato seeds came in good condition and ready for planting. They are growing well in grow bags, though not ready for harvest.

Follow-up · Potatoes are awesome!! Started under protection while still getting frost, uncovered 2 wks ago and thriving
This is an updated review as I have been growing the plant longer. Firstly ,the seeds germinated really well but the seedlings tend to be slow growing when small. It could just be my growing conditions though. Once they get larger, they take off ,grow very quickly and get to a good size. The leaves are very tasty and I highly recommend this plant.
Follow-up · Not very pest resistant,I use organic snail bait which is effective. Semi shade,I just eat the leaves raw as I like the taste.
Jenny Ealey, left the following 5 star review for the product Seed Potato - King Edward All of them have come up and are growing happily
Follow-up · Many large healthy plants. Not ready for harvesting yet

Purchased a yellow raspberry plant from these people along with some seeds. The plant was bare rooted and had some small roots. The plant was dead,… Read more
although I tried to revive it. Badly packed and was over charged as they put my seeds in the same package. I sent an email to them but did not receive a response. I will NEVER buy from them again.
Follow-up · I tried to see if I could revive the plant, but it was completely dead. Happy valley did not answer any of my emails. What a waste of my time and money.
Follow-up · I tried again to see if I could revive the plant, but as previously stated it was dead on arrival. You have lost a good customer.
While offering a great range of products, for me, value for money wasn’t there. Not a single herb seed germinated and rates of germination across a range of other veg weren’t great either. I thought it might be my soil so ordered from another supplier and had success. I’ve tried their seeds twice now and won’t be ordering again.
Very slow to reply and poor service. I ordered some seeds, ten minutes later when ordering something else from another company I realised that the delivery information was incorrect and sent a message asking to cancel or re address my order (so 10 whole minutes after the order was placed). Three days later I received a reply saying that it was too… Read more
late to cancel my order - 3 days to reply, not exactly outstanding service. I doubt the seeds were even sent.

Dear Happy Valley Seeds, I purchased seeds for Redland Pioneer beans, two types of zucchini, little finger eggplants and golden nugget pumpkins from you in Spring 2025. Beans and zucchini were a success. But the eggplants were something else again. I germinated them in small pots in a shade house, planted them out as seedlings, and I have… Read more · 1
never had a crop of egg plants like this. I just could not keep up with the supply, despite giving them away to friends and neighbours. But what has impressed me even more is that four weeks ago, as remaining fruit had turned brown and plants looked past their best, I cut them back hard, just leaving upper branches with flowers, fed and watered them, and a second and almost equally impressive crop grew in just a few weeks. I attach a few photos to show you this second crop. My one failure were the golden nugget pumpkins. They grew fine and looked healthy, same garden patch as the other veggies, but produced absolutely no fruit. Not one. Would appreciate any feedback you might have about what might have caused this failure. I've ordered with you again since Spring '25 and will certainly be doing so later in the year.
Don't waste your money. Attatched are photos of the obvious poor quality of Marigold and a photo of 2 separate piles. Had to repackage all seeds as they skimp out on resealable bags. The top pile in the photo are all non-viable seeds, whereas the bottom pile all sprouted at least 3/5 seeds. They will give you $1.86 back, without requesting and… Read more
think that will make everything ok. $1.86 doesn't cover the countless other failed varieties. Absolute scam. I tried to sprout 'fresh marigold seeds' from Happy Valley's lot. Absolutely 0/10 sprouted while all but 1 of my old leftover batch from another company sprouted and grew strong. Happy Valley tried saying it was my fault and that it was the wrong time of weather. Pfft. Wrong weather? They're indoors not even sprouted. The weather only really matters when you put them outside to grow up, except the cold strat seeds. Further more, why did the other company's work if it was the wrong weather? Happy Valley lies and cheats people of their money. The company will add some kind of comment to rectify their errors. Buy elsewhere. Anywhere but here. Buying overseas would be better even. Multiple quick and easy varieties did not sprout from this company. Other failed seeds include fava beans, dandelion. Only 2 out of 10 eggplant worked. Happy Valley sells seeds that are old and dead. Buy bulk from suppliers instead. Sell what you won't use, make a little money. Don't support these thieves. They try make you 2nd guess yourself, like a narcisst gaslights their victims. $1.86 refund for 15+ packets of failed seeds. Bought around 40 varieties. Not 1 whole packet should fail from a seed company. Maybe a few seeds within the pack, but definitely not every seed that gets sown.
Gave them 3 reasonable options to rectify the dead seeds. 1) 7 fresh viable packets 2) 30% refund 3) full refund and seeds returned
I laugh. 1) They said that's too many packets (far less than half of my non-viable varieties) 2) They said not offering a 30% refund and call me unreasonable when they offer a measley $1.86 and about 30% of the packs were dead , plus the 1st request was simply live seeds. 3) They said seeds have to be sealed in original packaging.
You can't reason with them. They had a pop-up special which was nothing more than a sceme to get rid of mostly dead seeds.
And finally the $1.86 refund was not requested. I only wanted what I was supposed to have paid for. Who knows how many people this person has scammed.
I'd love to name some good quality companies that I have purchased from but I don't think I should put good names in a bad review. Good luck finding a trustworthy company to purchase from and happy holidays
