The individual tradies need improvement and attention to customer relations and care and custody of other people’s property. This is the first walk in wardrobe we have ever had. Having a walk in wardrobe designed and installed into our new home has been a thrill, easy to go through, plan and install. Our new laundry wasn’t a big job but it was handled with the same professionalism and care by the team at KC and the trades who they brought in to make it match the kitchen they installed for us a couple years ago which we love.

demolition and installation teams provided were incredible. All issues were quickly discussed and resolved. Our off-site manager Haydn was very decisive and inclusive. The mess was minimal and all the trades worked in sync to provide a remarkably high standard of workmanship. If you can get Wayne for your installation you can consider yourself very lucky. His standard of workmanship and problem solving skills are outstanding. We could not be happier with our new kitchen - the look, the finish and the functionality. Loved our dealings with Kitchen Connection at Ipswich. The consultant, Kellie, was friendly, approachable, and professional. We were kept in the loop every step of the way and follow ups on every trade. To have Kitchen Connections project manage the entire job was the best aspect - less stress for us. In a time when tradespersons are almost impossible to get on the day you want, this was not the case with Kitchen Connections. We were given estimated quotes for trades and they abided by that. We were given a timeframe for every step and that was almost accurate - a slight delay in the benchtop delivery (beyond their control). Then we added LED lights around the skirting boards for extra visual effect at night. 4 pendant lights are still to come. The design process was very good with Rob knowing what would work, what may be a better option, what was within building code and where to save money or splash. The end result is a kitchen we will love for many years to come. I still can't believe I filled every single drawer!!

was finally completed in May 2026. One of our key requirements from the outset was that installation occur immediately after delivery. We specifically raised this concern with the sales team because we did not want our home turned into a storage facility while waiting for installers. We were assured that installation could be scheduled for the day after delivery. However, once the contract was signed and we were handed over to the operations team, that assurance suddenly became meaningless. The first issue arose after the check measure stage, when Kitchen Connection informed us that their manufacturer had stopped producing the cabinet style we had selected. We were told that no changes could be made after check measure, yet somehow Kitchen Connection's supplier was able to discontinue the product after that point. Not exactly confidence-inspiring project management. We were then advised that delivery would occur on 30 April 2026, but installation would not happen until 4 May, directly contradicting the assurances given by the sales team. Unfortunately, things only got worse. On the day of delivery, Kitchen Connection delivered only part of the project. Nobody informed us beforehand that there was a problem. We had to chase them to find out what had happened. It turned out the benchtop had been damaged during manufacture. Rather than notifying us, rescheduling delivery and installation, and delivering the project once complete, Kitchen Connection chose to dump the incomplete cabinetry in our home and leave it there. The irony is extraordinary. Their contract includes a clause stating that customers who delay delivery are charged $100 per day in storage fees. Yet when Kitchen Connection's own manufacturing failure meant they could not complete the project, they effectively used our home as their warehouse for free. The replacement benchtop was not delivered until 7 May, and installation did not occur until 10 May. As a result, our home remained heavily disrupted for 11 days while we stored Kitchen Connection's incomplete project. When we raised this obvious double standard, the response from the Manager of National Customer Support was astonishing. Rather than acknowledging the inconvenience or offering any form of compensation, we were told that we had agreed to the contract terms and that this was simply Kitchen Connection's business model. That statement perfectly summarises our experience. Kitchen Connection took six months to complete a straightforward entertainment unit, failed to properly manage supplier issues, delivered an incomplete product without informing us, provided inaccurate information regarding installation scheduling, and then left us to bear the consequences of their mistakes. Throughout the process, there was little accountability and no meaningful attempt to compensate us for the significant disruption caused. The entertainment unit itself may be fine, but the customer experience was one of the worst we have encountered. The biggest mistake we made was choosing Kitchen Connection in the first place. If you are considering Kitchen Connection for cabinetry, kitchens, or joinery work, proceed with extreme caution. Make sure every promise is documented in writing, assume timelines may be significantly longer than quoted, and be prepared for the possibility that your home could become their storage facility if anything goes wrong.

We sincerely appreciate the care and intense brain calculation, in working out the angles, solving the many “surprises”, to make our dream kitchen and laundry, a reality. Recommended improvements for Kitchen Connection would be for increased onsite project management, particularly in the demolition phase as at the pre sales discussion, we were told that there would be a single point of contact. Even though the plumbers work was a good standard, his costs surprised us and were very high and recommend a quote prior as opposed to an hourly rate which included travel time. With that being said, our experience with Kitchen Connection overall was great. They were all pleasant, thoughtful and patient with our processing. We are absolutely thrilled with the result.

knowledgeable, courteous and approachable, and eager to show you what they have and guides for pricing and designs. This gave me a rough budget guide to work towards. The layout of the showroom was excellent. You can see their kitchens and they had a display with various display boards of colour choices available to mix and match to see how they work together in selecting your colour choice. The new designs in kitchen functionality and the new ideas in storage with quick and easy access, especially in those small corner spaces, is amazing. You need like 2 kitchens to fit everything in, as you will want to have everything. Even though I was mainly shopping at another furniture store, I love looking at kitchens and seeing what is available and how I could improve my kitchen in the next few years. Especially in a brand new kitchen showroom. That didn’t worry David as he was showing me around, which will make me come back to see Kitchen Connection later as a customer, when I am finally ready.

Our fault for not going through the measurements with a fine tooth comb, but also disappointing after putting a level of trust with the designer.
