I love my koala mattress. I bought one over 20yrs ago and just bought a new one only because my partner wanted a bigger bed. our packaging after 7 days as we where so happy with our new bed we knew there was no way we where returning it. Having the option to change the firmness was a great option when buying a bed online (med-firm was our go too). They are definitely a firmer type of matress so if you like it soft contact the team about other options.
We highly recommend consideringa Koala matress if you are looking for a new bed.

Many things can wake me at night, but these days a dodgy mattress is not one of 'em. No longer do I anticipate discomfort even as I finally fall into bed at night when my body so needs to rest and repair. go. We live rural and when our first mattress arrived it had malfunctioned and expanded in the box. When it came out it was all out of shape. So we got in touch with koala warranty and submitted photos. It did take a little while to process as it was there Boxing Day sales and they were swamped with orders. They happily processed our claim and sent us another mattress. From the first night it was slept on our son loved it. I told him he had a period of time to test it and if he didn’t like it he could send it back. He said no way I love it, and to this day he still does. He has had neck surgery and says his back doesn’t ache anymore. Next time I get a new mattress for our bed it will be a koala one. Our family member upgraded their mattress from entry level koala king single to a queen size koala plush, and he says it’s even better. Even though he said his previous mattress was still as good as the day he bought it, and it was more than 5 years old. I even recommended koala to an apartment we stayed in on holiday as there mattresses were stuffed. So if you are not sure take the plunge and try them I doubt you will regret it.

firmness - so comfortable! I suffer chronic back pain and really need a mattress that supports well. The cool topper is perfect for us too as we're both "hot" sleepers. It's so great that you can trial the mattress and still get you money back if it doesn't suit - not that we would send it back - it's too comfy!
Follow-up · The mattress, whilst heavy, was easy to unbox, if a trifle awkward to get onto the bed frame. When unboxing, try to lift the box onto the bedframe, undo each end of the box, and let it slide out onto the frame. This is way easier if there are 2 of you to manoeuvre it! now, on Jul the 18th, our own personal experience is only about 5 weeks old. Having said that, so far, we (I and my husband) have only praises for this mattress, both from our guests and our own. We sleep very well, though cannot speak of any special effects. Given the short period of usage, the mattress durability has not undergone any serious test yet and therefore we are unable to comment about it. instructions provided where spot on. The delivery process was also quite quick as I live semi regional I was expecting a longer delivery, but it came quite quickly. Ive never been so happy with a mattress and going to buy one for my elderly Mother who also has back pain. The comfort and support fro the mattress has definitely helped my sleeping pattern and eased the pain i was experiencing sleeping. The quality of my sleep has improved and the difference between sleep with Koala Plus Mattress and my old mattress is simply amazing. The mattress takes about 72 hours to harden up after taking it out of packaging so expect the firmness to increase during the first three days after opening. I also needed to use their customer support team who was amazing and answered my questions quickly and provided the extra help/support I needed. I had been looking at the Koala ads on facebook for awhile and glad I chose them, I had about 4 companies I Was looking at for my new mattress and glad I choose Koala. 100% recommended for a good nights sleep and for anyone who needs a mattress that doesn't have any sag points. No matter where I lay on the bed the firmness is consistent and it can handle two people in the bed easily without having that annoying problem of sag and drop. Thanks heaps to the Koala design team on this one, the plus is definitely the mattress for back pain and providing a better nights sleep.

Semi-firm seems to suit us better. Next step is to try a topper. We realise that improved sleep may take time, so are not giving up. The mattress is very comfortable when lying down to sleep.

Easy to assemble. We left it for a day to help aerate and lift. Very comfortable. I do feel my husband turning even though it says you can't. It is minimal but still noticeable. Still havnt passed the 90 days yet but very happy at this stage. Show details
