The number of stars takes into account the price I paid. I cannot expect $1000 worth of features and functionality on a $200 machine. Set up was a nightmare and I am very tech savvy. they malt all year round. If you vacuum in the evening, by morning there are large tufts of hair in the living areas. I do not use it on carpect, only tiles. Despite it supposedly having the feature of being OK over cables, make sure all cables are off the floor, it gets badly tangled and doesn'stop when it does. The fact it talks to you is not annoying; sometimes it is amusing and occasionally useful. A feature of stopping requiring the chamber to be emptied would be useful. I would prefer a larger chamber but it would be easily sufficient for a family without a dog that loses so much fur. You need to fill up the water reservoir for every clean. To save money, I used the original mop piece as a template and cut it out of microfibre cloths. I got 4 per cloth (Bunnings ones) If you sew two together it works perfectly and is a heck of a lot cheaper than using proper ones. It sticks to the velcro attachment with no problems. Just wet the makeshift mop before you start the machine. The mop does enough as a daily wipe down of the tiles but obviously proper mopping still needs to be done. It would be better if it could use some detergent which it can't. It gets close enough to walls and corners to be effective enough. It also fits under remarkably low furniture. It comes apart easily and is more robust than it seems except the flimsy cover between the roller and dustbin. It operates fine without it when it falls off though. I recommend it as long as it is just a regular tidy up machine, not used as a serious vacuum or mop. The battery lasts for ages. I have a large living/hall/kitchen/foyer space - it has never had a problem with battery even when I have run it twice in sucession.
PLEASE DON'T BUY. Vacuum stopped working with persistent wheel drive errors. 2 months back and forth with support, with suggestions that I open up the machine and replace electrical components. Machine under warranty and they will not replace it. Show details

The Lefant M1 has been an amazing addition to our family home. It doesn't matter if I want a quick vacuum done with chairs in the way, or if I want to lift items off the ground, I'm always very happy with the job the M1 does. For a budget robot vacuum, it's more than met expectations. Show details
Follow-up · It's made a huge difference to our house. I stead of spending 30mins on vacuuming, we simply lift a couple of chairs off the ground and let the M1 do its thing. Under tables, buffet's, into corners are all light work for the M1. Only downside is that it has a slight issue from time to time with getting up on our area rug, but once it's up, everything is smooth.

We named our Lefant, Roger, and we love how he goes about cleaning. Very efficient and he does a great job. The dust canister is full each time and so he gets into areas normally unreachable. Show details

Good robot great suction with good tech spec – I purchased this after my old robot broke. I didn't want to spend a lot as it wasn't a planned purchase. job vacuuming I can tell where it's cleaned something I couldn't always see with my other robot. All the bits that end up on the kitchen floor are always cleaned not scattered over the floor. The app if being used for the basic functions is great. For the more sophisticated things like saving maps is not great, and not intuitive. You can manage the robot from anywhere. On the app, the map shows you where it's cleaned and where it is currently in your home. So if you haven't cleared the floor in preparation correctly and it got stuck, I usually send it back to be recharged and this mostly gets the robot moving again Getting stuck is something it rarely does. In summary, if you want a good spec robot at a good price even at full price this is one you should consider.

Really nice and affordable robot – I bought this robot to replace another brand which broke down. Item was purchased in August 2023 and so far it has done a great job, I like that mapping of the house which is available, unfortunately when cleaning the app does not allow to select a single room; but you have to clean the all house. Great suction too, we have a large dog which sheds a lot and this vacuum cleans the floor perfectly. Price point is extremely competitive,
