Have had the Q10V+ for about 3 weeks. Everything fine until yesterday. Had set up for 2 passes for kitchen, which it did perfectly with cross hatch paths. Yesterday it did one pass correctly, then meandered aimlessly until I sent it home (via the app). It got near the dock, but could not make it and started meandering aimlessly again. Will try a few options, maybe recreate map. Haven't given up yet, as has mostly performed very well Show details

I bought a RoboRock Q 10V+ robot vacuum cleaner from Costco for $399. As it is a discontinued model the price is great - last year they retailed for over $1000. It is described in reviews as a high features, low cost machine. Most reviews are generally very positive and I agree that it works very well, once it is setup, rooms mapped and kinks… Read more

ironed out. It is simple to setup and it maps the house quite quickly. Cleaning performance is good both in vacuuming and combined mop and vacuum. The vacuum has advanced features such as raising over carpets, LiDAR navigation and carpet detection. It lacks auto mop washing and drying and some other high end features. $400 is a great price for an effective robot vacuum cleaner. It’s a pity that RoboRock’s genuine part like vacuum bags and filters are very expensive and delivery is slow. Luckily accessories are widely available on the internet and forums give lots of advice about which retailer are most helpful.

I purchased the Roborock Q10v Plus last August, and when it actually functions properly, it is a fantastic vacuum. The suction is great, it cleans the floors very well, and the auto-empty dock works flawlessly to suck all the dirt out of the vacuum and into the bag inside. When it wants to work, it is an excellent, convenient machine. … Read more

Unfortunately, it has now failed twice within the first 10 months. It recently spent a full month away for repairs, only to return with a cascade of erratic anomalies that completely defeat the purpose of a hands-free robot vacuum.

The current issues include:

Major Docking & Navigation Failures: After a cleaning cycle, it rarely makes it back to the base. It regularly shuts down either 10 meters away from the dock or completely runs out of battery 50 meters away in random parts of the house, requiring me to manually carry it back. Ghost Operations: It randomly launches itself off the dock after a finished cycle, wanders into different rooms aimlessly, gets lost, and cannot find its way home. Severe Battery & Charging Faults: It refuses to charge automatically when the battery is low. I have to manually stop and start the machine repeatedly just to kick-start the charging process. Furthermore, if you walk anywhere near the vacuum, it randomly and repeatedly announces "Charging."

It is a real shame because the cleaning power and self-emptying station are excellent, but having to constantly babysit it, hunt for it in random rooms, and manually force it to charge ruins the entire experience. Hoping the next repair or replacement finally fixes this for good.

It cleans well enough, does partially mop the floor, and has reasonable obstacle avoidence. Mapping is good, just remember to keep doors shut of rooms you dont want it in (like a bathroom that gets very wet) and it gets confused by floor to ceiling windows, it includes the world outside of the windows, so keep blinds/curtains shut when mapping. … Read more

The reservoir is limited, filling every couple of days is getting annoying, and it doesn't always empty the mass of cat hair (we have 2) into the base unit properly. I find we are giving it a good clean every couple of weeks as it gets bunged up with dust and moisture (inevitable with a wet mop and a vacuum combined, probably not unique to this appliance).

Would i recommend it? For the $596 we paid for it, so far its reasonable value. Its definately halved our cleaning, we just use the Dyson hand-held once a week to get to the places it cant. Its not bad, i'd probably buy another when this one needs replacing.

Robot vacuum cleaners are evolving product category. We have had 5 over the last decade. The original was a Hover a really wasn't useful. Leap forward to 2025 and Roborock have finally created full functioning automated vacuum cleaners. You still need to service the vacuum cleaner and change the bag. To mop you must add water to the tank regularly. Show details

Follow-up  · Obstacle avoidance for the Roborock Q10 is very good. It rarely bumps into objects. Cords are still sometimes a problem. Water tank refill is about once per week. This could vary for a few reasons. You can adjust the the water flow and if you wish it to mop. Servicing is about once a week for us. It usually just means changing the way. However once per month I have been cleaning the filter. Fine dust reduces the vacuum if it get clogged.

Very happy with the Roborock Q10V+. Vacuum and mopping function works very well. However, there are no replacement dust bags available in Australia, even from the Roborock website. Disappointing as we will have been waiting a month before we are likely to receive replacement bags. Show details

Hands down, this is the BEST thing I have ever purchased to save time (& my sanity!!) I work full time and have 2 young kids plus 2 fluffy white cats… I absolutely LOVE ‘Rosie the Robot’ as she has affectionately been named and can’t believe I waited so long to bring her into our family! Show details
