Spartan Sheds. Avoid – Avoid at all costs. The builder is the actual owner and he was difficultt and passive agressive. Do a Google search of his name, do your homework, read. Take the contract to a solicitor before you sign. Replaced the broken pipe with another broken pipe, then poured the slab on top.

Demanded money for "repairing" the damage to the pipe he broke and said it was in the contract. We went to a lawyer who said we were not responsible for cost of repairing pipes he broke as we told the builder where the pipes were, and advised us that the builder/owner of Spartan was responsible for cost of repairs of said pipe. Our 2 yr old house is dependent on rainwater collection, no mains. When it rained the rain water gushed from under the slab and flooded the front yard around the house.

QBCC involved, very slow process. Lawyer told us he had other Spartan clients who were worse off than us. After 15 months since signing contract, and 5 attempts at fixing broken/leaking "repaired" pipes, it's been sort of fixed, but now we have a 90ml pipe where as before it was 100 ml pipe. In order to try to fix the mess he created he took off one of the down pipes to the house, this was never part of the plan. Also, the concrete was given lean away from the other shed but not continued the lean to the back of the slab and the rain water pools in the middle of the carport where you have to step off your car. The pool of water is deep enough to enter into your shoes. Big blob of concrete next to carport and under downpipe so we had to buy a jack hammer and cut a chanel to connect downpipe to water tank. Plenty of other choices. Avoid Spartan shed and dealing with the builder/owner. Get contract read and explained by a solicitor if you're going with Spartan, as they cannot be trusted.

Same as recent others, do not use – Read the other reviews, same happened to me. Avoid this company, worst building experience of my life. Pretty well everything that others said, happened to me. 12mths to the day from signing contract to keys.

Do not use this company – We contracted to build a shed in June of 2022. We were told on site by the owner [Name Removed] that weather permitting we would have the slab poured before Xmas of that year and the shed completed Jan or Feb due to Christmas shutdowns. I went in to the office in May 2023 to enquire what was happening as nothing had been started and I was verbally abused by the office assistant [Name Removed] who was bombastic and belligerent. She told us that they never said it would be started before July 2023. After reading all the fine print in the contract and identifying multiple breaches by spartan sheds we brought this to their attention and 2 days later they poured the slab. Months later after again having to go in and point out breaches again they finally finished our build 15 months after signing the contract. The amount of extra money they stated was due over and above the contracted amount was $7000. Communication was poor to non existent. They use an answering service as they probably have so many disgruntled people attempting to contact them. The woman in the office displayed disgraceful behaviour and has a potty mouth. There was no customer service. No attempt to answer enquiries and even after many emails and messages to the owner, he was so disinterested I don’t know how they remain in business. The young guys who built the shed were pleasant and polite but had obviously been told not to talk to us. They didn’t remove all the building waste and we were told they would remove it if we paid for the bobcat and the tipping fee totalling $600. We told them to shove it and did it ourselves. We do not recommend Spartan sheds at all. They are shifty, nasty and unprofessional.

Worst Purchase Ever – Dealing with this company has been the worst experience by far of any purchase I have ever made. Their communication was poor and their after sales service was nonexistent. The manager initially said it may have been an oversight and agreed to come out to the site to discuss my issue, but he never showed up on the agreed date. Then after 2 months of unanswered emails and phone calls he rings me up and abuses me. There are plenty of better options
