to delivery as the T&Cs did include a disclaimer that there may be some scratches or dents in transit. One person delivered the shed and my husband had to help him bring the sections into our back yard! When it was installed, we noticed 8 scratches in a row down to the metal about the size of a 50c piece along the wall facing our garden and a dent 16cm round on the same wall. The installer took no responsibility. When we contacted the company in writing with photos, we were referred to the terms and conditions. There was an offer of a can of paint! On a brand new shed! Lesson learnt - Beware paying in full before installation...

and the project is within the realms of any home handyman. The pallets were delivered to our property with a crane to unload. The included instruction booklet is well set out and and easy to follow. You do need a second person to help with some of the sections of the build. Notably you also need at least four people to be able to lift the constructed roof onto the frame, the more hands the better for this stage as the roof is extremely heavy. As a tip I would recommend staining the timber before assembly as this is easier to do whilst flat on the ground. The stain enhanced the finished look of the cedar and the cabin looks great. I would recommend a Stilla product as a DIY project for anyone requiring a stylish shed.

understanding, had no problem explaining things I didn’t understand and was extremely accomodating with me when I requested changes, which made that part of the project a little less daunting for me, design, ordering, component delivery scheduling, all handled by Jillian with consummate ease.
After a few minor hiccups with my chosen concretor (out of their control), the building phase began.
Steve and his team began construction, whilst I watched in awe, his attention to detail should be an example to all tradies out there, nothing was too much trouble, he was most accomodating when I requested a few modifications that were not originally on the design plan. Steve is an absolute perfectionist, to the point that he was not happy with what would be the ultimate look of some of the supplied flashings, so ordered, supplied and fitted the modified flashings at his own expense, then used some of the unused (not the look) flashings to finish the transition from the shed to the awning because “It just looks better and more finished”, again at his own time and motion cost. A rare breed indeed.
The finished product far exceeds my expectations and to say that I am extremely happy, would be an understatement, I am absolutely over the moon with the final result.
To the Shed Company Tamworth team, mere words cannot express my gratitude enough. So Thank you so much for making my dream a reality, I cannot recommend you highly enough.

companies I spoke to were not interested until I visited Peter from FDB Northern Sheds in Thomastown. Peter was straight to the point and was able to answer any question that I had. Peter explained that he used to build sheds himself over a 20 year period. This was obvious given how comfortable he made me feel when we were discussing this project. Normally the lowest price is not always the best but in this case FDB were not only the cheapest but the quality of the build is amazing. I obtained my permits through our local council and when they made the final inspection the commented that the shed not only met legislative requirements the quality was above and beyond requirements. This was evident in the added bracing to the structure. Peter also arranged for the erection of the shed. The installers name was Allistair and I cannot speak more highly of his workmanship and attention to detail. I am extremely fastidious and could not fault Allistair's workmanship in any way. He went over and beyond what you would expect from a tradesperson. If you are in the market for a shed I would only recommend this company.

In the end Sophie the Ai takes the call you won't get to speak to a real human as they are probably enjoying the money you paid them on their hobbies or holidays. PLEASE PEOPLE DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT USING SHEDZONE LOOK ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!! OR BE PREPARED TO BE FRUSTRATED BEYOND ANY THING YOU HAVE EVER BEEN IN YOUR LIFE. The only good thing was after the time of waiting the builders that sub contract to shedzone were great not like the management and sales of SHEDZONE they well did what they said when and put up the kit in a timely manner and did a great job. And after the shed was built this man that manages has the ordaciity to tell the builder to lock the shed on my own property and not give me my own keys untill full payment for install I am not a violent man in any sense however if the manager in question and he knows whom he is ever contacts me or approached me in the future I'm sure he will regret the way he has treated me like the dirt under his shoes for the past 18 months. please do yourselves a favour buy from someone else.

hour. Was supposed to be 2 x Merlin door openers (specified and paid for) but they decided to supply something different without asking that was not suitable. Took about 6 weeks to get sorted. The design is trash and a pain in the A**E to build using far too many small teks instead of bolts that needed pre-drilling in the thicker sections. The flashings were S**T and didn't fully cover the door jambs and you still see the gal jambs so looks shabby. Some of the roofing screws were too short to go thrugh heavy duty fibreglass roof and tried telling me I was doing somethign wrong so they had a look on site and said 'never had that before'. Stuffed up design so I lost about 300mm clearance on height on one door - after modifying to miminise loss. Many many phone calls to get so many things sorted out. Used cheap trash screws for wall sheets that left a bur and tore up the rubber washer so had to pre drill all of those too. The door supplied had skin loose from reinforcing before it was used (was replaced) and the list goes on ie used single columns instead of back-back so you lose about 300mm width across the ends. Only use 0.42mm roof sheet when 0.48mm much better - and tehy are not the cheapest either. Door was supposed to be prehung but got a DIY frame and the precut hole for lock was set back too far so you see a bit of the cut out around the handle cover plate. Door harware showing surface rust/tea staining in only 12 months. Drawings poor too. Asked for epoxy set anchors and was given gal tru bolts... but were replaced - without enough epxoy though. Watch out for the slick talking sales - reality is way short. Making another one from Widespan Sheds at the moment and it is easy - they are knocking it out of the park - Widespan has a good price, great organised paper trail, informed all the way, way better design, easier to build, good construction manual and neater flashings - was told it was coming on xx/yy/2025, and would be called day before. Was called and delivered as per advice.

the price.
The plastic components feel cheap, with warped parts and rough, poorly finished edges. During assembly, you basically pray that the plastic fixing points will hold, while a power drill and screws become almost essential to get everything properly secured.
Assembly is unnecessarily difficult. Many components have no pre-drilled holes, making it easy to misalign screws and create a messy finish. Ironically, even where pre-drilled holes are provided—such as on the door frame—some were 3–5 mm out of alignment, suggesting poor manufacturing precision.
There is also a noticeable gap between the bottom of the front/rear panels and the floor board. The assembly instructions don’t properly address this design issue, which makes the problem even more frustrating.
The supposedly “heavy-duty” floor also feels quite basic and not particularly heavy duty.
The supplied plastic spatula/tool is hardly a solution to these problems—it feels more like a desperate attempt to make difficult assembly possible.
Overall, the finished shed is reasonably attractive, but the material quality, manufacturing tolerances and assembly design are below what I expected. For the price, I expected much better quality control.
Would I buy it again? Probably not.

experience, I encountered numerous issues throughout the process, including poor communication, inadequate documentation, approval problems, and serious concerns regarding payments and dealer conduct. I strongly encourage anyone considering Ranbuild to carefully verify all documentation, approvals, payment arrangements, and the credentials of the dealer before proceeding. In my case, I experienced issues involving allegedly fraudulent documentation and an accredited Ranbuild dealer who appeared to be attempting to retain my money without fulfilling the order. What has been even more frustrating is the apparent lack of meaningful support from Ranbuild’s head office. There had reportedly been ongoing issues with their South Coast dealer, [Name Removed], for approximately 18 months, including allegations that he accepted customers’ deposits without ordering their sheds. Despite this, it reportedly took Ranbuild 18 months to act and remove him from their website. Once I discovered that I had potentially been scammed, I was directed to deal with a representative named Barry, who repeatedly treated the matter as merely a “dealer issue.” There were no meaningful apologies, no proactive support, and no genuine effort to assist me. Even more concerning, despite the allegations surrounding [Name Removed]’s conduct, [Name Removed] continued encouraging me to deal with him. I am extremely angry and disappointed with the way this situation has been handled. Customers should not be left to deal with the consequences of a dealer’s alleged misconduct while head office avoids responsibility. If Ranbuild is reading this and believes the situation could not be as serious as described, my experience has been even worse than expected. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend staying away from Ranbuild and carefully considering all alternatives before committing any money
Screw you Ranbuild!

months was a reasonable timeframe in email communications with the office team. We then had further communications via email, which said we were looking at November 2022 for installation. On 16 November 2022, both my husband and I had been trying to get answers regarding the shed build as we had other dependencies for our house build for the shed (power to shed and bore, etc), so we needed some information to inform our house builder and other trades). At this point nothing had been started by Spartan on our property. Our builder also tried to call Spartan to get an answer and was told they would try to get it done in time for the handover of our house. Slab was poured on 8 December 2022, and the shed was delivered the following week. We were told the shed would go up the first week back in January, beginning 9 Jan 2023. The shed was built on Monday, 23 January 2023, and final handover happened on 17 February 2023.
We could build an entire house (300mtr + house) in this timeframe, but Spartan couldn't deliver a slab and shed.
The quality of the shed and build is great. We had some issues with the locks and hooks getting rusty but after several calls and emails to Spartan, the install team replaced and rectified this. We didn't have any issues with the Shed's quality. Our main problems with Spartan were their lack of communication and rude/aggressive responses.
My husband and I work full time and are on the phone often for our jobs, so it can be hard to reach during business hours. We would call back or email them and then not get a timely response or would be met with attitude or some excuse from the staff for the delays. We are business people and realise that delays can happen and some of this is out of their control, however what they can control is how they communicate to customers and keep people informed about the project.
Here is an example: I had a call from [Name Removed] (the owner and builder) at one point; he left me a message to call him back but didn't leave a return mobile number. I mentioned this in my email about the issues with the locks rusting and was met with a severe attitude and aggression from him, but I didn't want to enter into a fight with him; I just wanted these parts replaced. (for information - I would get 30+ calls daily on my phone, so working out his number in my call logs isn't easy. It is standard to leave your name and number in a voicemail, but apparently, I am wrong here!)
If they had told us up front that we would have to wait on the sheds for more than 9 - 12 months from the start, we would have been okay with that. Don't promise what you can't deliver.
As others have said, the contract and documents promised to be written and updated weekly/fortnightly, but this didn't happen. I was calling and emailing on a regular basis and was either ignored or given some excuse for the delay, including that the factory was closed for maintenance for several months (which sounded like crap to me).
The shed is good, but the service is rubbish.
