I am a long time client of Stake along with numerous other brokers but I have to say I rate Stake my No 1! Over the years I have had a number of enquiries and always found Stake staff to be prompt and very professional. I highly rate and recommend Stake. Show reply

So far we have found STAKE a very good user friendly platform. If you are reasonably confident with investing your own money, why pay 1%or more of your hard earned money for some other company to do it

Withdrawal confirmed but funds not received. No communication for days. I’ve had to escalate this formally and involve my bank to trace the funds. Significant concerns around reliability and access to funds.

unhelpful in the extreme. They kept telling me to download the latest version of the program to my phone, and I kept telling them I wasn't using the phone but a PC.

After to-ing and fro-ing a number of times, I got NO joy from the Stake Technical team and now cannot see/display the total return column of my US shares

Seamless application process. Applying for an account for my business was a simple process. All the right information was asked for the first time. I recently had a terrible experience with CMC where they kept requesting information in drips and drabs with lengthy delays in between with constant follow ups till application expired. But Stake was a breath of fresh air. Very pleased with the process to say the least.

The team at Stake Super is easy to deal with – consultants are responsive and actually helpful when you need them. Tax time is straightforward compared to what I expected; the whole process is simple and stress-free.

asked for numerous times to prove im human and couldn't believe when they emailed again telling me they didnt pass my liveness to send again, without a link. Couldnt believe it. . Its being comical, so ridiculous that obviously they locked me out of my account to access my money. They keep telling to keep myself updated on my app yet they have locked me out, wth.. so not even sure they have the intelligence to understand that I cant access my stake account . It baffles me. So weird. Unprofessional. Disgraceful

I had to transfer my stocks out of stake into another broker (IBKR) that my work required me to. So difficult to transfer stocks out. I do not recommend and customer service was not clear.

BE CAREFUL! If you deposit less than $50, Stake will keep your money and will not add it to your account. You then have to lodge a Fraud report eitb your Bank. Stake is a very bad business, steals your money!

Easy to use app and while there is a bit of a lag between placing an enquiry and receiving a response (approx 24 hours), the responses are always accurate and helpful.

Customer success consultants - They are amazing. STAKE is let down by their web application and website. I will give you an example. I am trying to set up another trading account. The email with an action required by me is fulled with internally understood acronyms that I don't know what to do. I have to call their phone number to get clarity… Read more

Absolutely shocking customer service. I had an issue with their verification process and emailed them multiple times over many weeks. They kept replying with the same generic message saying it was “under review”. They gave me a deadline to complete their app verification, then after the deadline passed, they locked my account anyway. Complete waste of time. Zero help, zero communication, zero respect for the customer. Would not recommend. Show details

I regret that I setup my brokerage account with Stake. My main concern is they require you to use Airwallet as your brokerage account. Airwallet is terrible it does not use fast transaction (instant) technology and transactions can take up to 3 business days if you are lucky. They say they listen to customer feedback but this is completely misleading. I have complained about Airwallet in the past to Stake and received no response. Show details

You will be Stake'd up the butt with these clowns. They make up the rules as they go. They locked me out of my account on 23 Dec 2025, and gave me 6 business days to transfer my holding to another service provider or they would liquidate everything. There was no justification given, simply 'its within our T&Cs, we dont need to provide a justifcation'

Every time I try to withdraw money from my account, they say “oh, FrankieOne isn’t working properly. Please resubmit your ID. Over. And over. And over again. The staff seem like uni grads. No depth to them, no problem saving capability. If you’re just starting out, fine. If you’re putting hundreds of thousands with them, avoid.

Be warned about Stake Accumulate ~ They are claiming a 5.85 % return but are actually losing money. That's right, the balance is reducing, there is LESS week to week. Hard to understand as they invest in fixed interest and bonds. I can understand 1 or 2 % but losing my money ????

I have been trading on 3 different platforms and Stake is the most efficient and easiest one to trade. I particularly like their mobile app. Highly recommended for first time traders/investors.

I had a problem adding funds to my account and was unable to sort it myself so contacted Stake Support both via web site and directly by phone. Long and short is they got onto the matter promptly and had it sorted in no time at all despite the fact it was my own fault! One very satisfied Stake customer.

As a beginner in investing stocks, I found the whole process daunting but using Stake made it very easy to get your trading under way and begin my trading journey

Highly recommended! Excelence trading platform, cheapest broker fee, effective customer supports when I am having any issues (using emails or calls). I can transfer funds and dividends from Stake (ANZ) account onto my personal baking account within few minutes. I am now using Stake instead of Westpac Broker or ComSec (unbelievably expensive) I don't believe some bad reviews here, why.
