Still Advertising when insolvent – I have recently been very lucky, as I was about to place a deposit to buy a TRANSPORTABLE SHADE SHED, as they are still advertising on Facebook ,when that night i happened to see the CURRENT AFFAIR CHANNEL 9 program showing clients + former staff left without goods or pay. I was nearly another one .

Gone into Liquidation and have already taken full payment from us – We paid in full for a Shade Shed from this company on the 06.03.2023 and now find that they are in liquidation and we will not be getting our shed. I cannot contact anyone on the phone. Show details

Add Us to the List of "Bunnies" – Asked for a quote on the shed on 6th December 2022. They quickly got back to us with the quote, which we accepted, and had to pay deposit. Paid that on 7th. on the phone said that their sheds were popular and we would have no trouble selling it on. No call came to discuss our circumstances. Received an email to say pay the balance or else. Had no choice but to comply. Waited until February 2023 for the frame to arrive, with no warning. (We haven't looked to see if all the parts are there). Tried to ring today, 3 May 2023, to find out when the roofing iron would arrive. Couldn't get through. Phones cut off. It wasn't until we went into this site for information that we found out they had gone into liquidation. Like so many, they took our money even though they knew they were insolvent. Wish we had seen this Review site before doing business with them. I wonder if they can be brought to justice for fraud and ripping us all off. Very sad and distressing when most people saved up a lot of money in order to get their sheds.

Dishonest – Paid deposit, paid balance when asked and no delivery. They were trading when they were insolvent. I’m just one of many that has lost money to these con artists and their lying sales team.

son looked on the ASIC website and under Published Notices it advised they have gone into voluntary liquidation as of yesterday, and the company is to be wound up. You can find details on the ASIC website to get in touch with the liquidators. Don't know whether any of us will get any money back though as they possibly owe a lot.

Total sham – Beware. Our shed has not arrived, they use delay tactics. They promised again February, no show. In March they said 2-3 weeks. They are not honest in their dealings.

Half the shed still hasn't turned up 2 months later – I ordered a transportable carport . The steel uprights were delivered within a week of payment, but the colourbond for the roof has still not been delivered after two months. I have received no information other than an email saying "Please be advised that your sheeting will be delivered within 5 – 10 business days." That email was now 5 weeks old. I doubt they plan on sending anything and I now see loads of terrible reviews on this page. Show details

Great product and service – I recently purchased a TSS Shade Shed and I really pleased with it. I got the C2 option in Deep Ocean to match my side fence. It looks great and wasn't hard to put up. The team was helpful from start to finish and made the process simple. Will definitely buy through them again if I need another one.

Terrible service! Still waiting for it 9 months later! Won’t give refund – Paid deposit may, paid rest November. Still waiting delivery and they won’t refund me so I can get one elsewhere. Terrible service – I have pretty much experienced the same issues as everyone else on this review page. Have been given multiple delivery dates for frame. Then told it wasn't coming due to the floods (fair enough), then It arrived 2 days later with no notice. Am now waiting for roofing iron. The TSS arranged for there truck to pick it up on the way back from WA (in in SA). Have now had multiple delivery dates given to me and constant truck breakdowns so they have never eventuated.

I have requested to speak to someone in management with no call backs so far.

Really dissapointed. I will be shocked if the roof sheets actually arrive

Absolutely Unprofessional Oganisation – Ordered my shade shed in July 2022 now December 2022. Deposit paid July 2022, balance paid September 2022, still no shed. Production dept, Customer Service, do not give you any specific details of where your goods are. Logistics also went to the same training program as the others will not give honest answers. 8 months later still no delivery date – Deposit paid in March 2022 with the promise of a 6-8 week delivery. December 2022 still nothing. No contact after a message saying someone would be in touch. Customer service is a waste of time. After my house being inhabitable from the feb rain event in Lismore, still nowhere to put anything undercover. Maybe going out of business?? Worst company ever – Same experiences as others here, wish I would have read here before ordering this. Almost 3 months and the shed is only partly built as they left of 2 components. payment being made as they were ready to dispatch. Delivery came a month later without warning, despite informing them we are on a farm and need to ensure someone takes delivery. Only by chance we were there.

Now waiting for the rust to set in, very poor quality galvanizing, especially what is in contact with the ground. Open ends as well.

Followup up on the missing components was lip service at best, despite telling them I had work crew here ready to install. Luckily they checked off all components first. Notified them a week ago, onmy today get a con note stating delivery next week with a disclaimer "deliveries to WA delayed up to two weeks". Suffice to say work crew has left as I wasn't given any detail until today.

For an Australian company they should be ashamed of themselves! Cannot recommend this company at all!

completely different company (Not sure if Australian)

Initial dealing with sales rep was good, but all went down hill once order and deposit was placed. All further communication/complaints/requests is ONLY with head office on TSS website (customer care officer) .

*3 separate departments = Sales, Manufacturing and Logistics. Seem to operate separately from each other.

*Communication - EXTREMELY POOR - website order tracking, not always accurate, misleading. - delivery cancellation and delays by TSS, other than steel acquisition issues, were either: not communicated well or not at all based on incorrect information held at the office based on misconstrued information

*Delivery - COMMUNICATION ISSUES - separate companies for frame and roofing - separate time frames for frame and roofing sheets (Lysart) - delivery advice - only 1 hr notice! - NO date/day pre-advised - not advised that frame and roof would be delivered in separate orders/different dates - did not match initial advice from Sales or Customer Care Officer

* Order cancellation - impossible if discount applied to purchase price (fine print T&Cs) - impossible to deal with any management personally - only customer care officer - requests/complaints are encouraged and can be submitted BUT........ - my request denied on basis of incorrect information held supposedly at TSS - compassionate grounds do not seem to be considered, even if manufacturing of order has not commenced. - Could have, should have contested the issue...but was simply exhausted and fed up! contact them only to be told that it will be a further 10-12 weeks.... not happy... but what can you do they have your money. As my new race trailer had arrived i had to pay a third party for storage.

12 weeks later I had to contact them AGAIN this time was told would be another 5-6 weeks with delivery estimated to be 28 NOV [no guarantee]. This is when enough was enough and wanted to talk to a manager. No calls no correspondence from management what so ever.

Contacted them requesting they pay the storage from the initial delivery date to when the shed will arrive with no response from management. Had to contact them continually with no answers on what was happening. Told they wouldn't be paying the storage costs.

Received email requesting final payment to which i had tried contacting management again requesting they deduct the cost of storage and i would be happy to pay the final payment, [albeit prior to receiving my shed}.

Received email from supposed manager stating that he had tried to contact me unsuccessfully on numerous occasions. {STRAIGHT UP LIE] and quoted fine print from supposed contract saying they are not liable for costs Bla Bla Bla. So Stitched up there.

And gave 2 options, pay the full amount [with no guarantee of actual delivery or a date] or refund of the deposit -10%restocking Fee.

So this went from 8-10 weeks to an "estimated"delivery totalling 34+ weeks.

So Mad i took the refund and will take my money and business elsewhere.

Have also since found out from a number of friends and acquaintances that they take forever to supply the frame and most if not all the hardware and fixings were not supplied and then once the frame arrives some have waited a further 3 months for the supply of the sheeting.

!!!!!!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE they will lie to you, tell you what you want to here to get your money and then not deliver !!!!!!!

My experience started back on August 4, 2022, when I purchased a 6m x 3m shade shed from TSS and was advised that it would take 6 weeks to despatch date and someone from the “Logistics Provider” would be in touch to arrange details. The day before the 6 weeks were up, I contacted TSS to advised that no one from their “Logistics Provider” had contacted me, to then be told that they had a dispatch date of 29 September 2022 which is extra three weeks. Then the day before the dispatch date I advised that the “Logistics Provider” had not contacted me to arrange a time. That’s when I was told,

“We have a estimated dispatch date of tomorrow not a delivery date. An estimated dispatch date is when we expect to have your order complete in production and handed to our logistics partner to organise a delivery date and time with you once placed on a truck run.”

I then questioned the definition of dispatch to mean that it is sent to me on that date and was advised,

“An estimated dispatch date is a date that we plan for our trucks to dispatch to then deliver the orders to an area. Please keep in mind these dates are estimates. We estimate a 2-week timeframe for delivery, however, like previously mentioned our logistics partner will call you to organise a delivery date and time.”

All during this period when I emailed “Customer Support” they would reply to me using my username rather than my actual name which they had on file along with my incorrect delivery address. It was finally delivered 52 working days after purchase (without any fixing screws to put the thing together). When they use the word “estimated” date, that is the one thing they say that is true. It was my own fault for not looking at the reviews beforehand. If I had I would not have bought the product. The reviews, to me, tell the story of a very disjointed business that has communication issues, not just with its customers but with its own divisions. The reviews tell of a lot of frustrated and disgruntled customers and from reading the reviews, rightly so. This must have a major impact on the front-line staff, the Customer Support staff the truck drivers etc. so I would hope processes are reviewed and problems rectified for their sakes. Look, I have no issues with the product, so far, and I hope Rob and Kylie read this review and other reviews and see them as constructive criticism and a chance to improve a business that has the potential to be all of what they purport to be on their website.

Really bad customer communication – Ordered a couple of horse shelters in May delivery was to be early July still waiting and now I’m told that the frame is being delivered and the roof will be another couple of weeks. Avoid at all costs – Poor service, they dont tell you your roof sheeting arrives separately when purchasing or when giving you a deliverydate. They give out generic instructions and not tailored to your purchase. So if you follow the instructions the shade shed will not be as discussed and is a headache. Yeah well why wasn't i told that instead of sending the piece of crap instructions they did. And on that note if you look on you tube there are multiple videos and they are all different, so which video do we watch. Once they have your money good luck talking to anyone. Avoid at all costs, we used tss as being aussie made but knowing what we know now we should have ordered one from China. Also there were short around 60 screws, i could keep going but you get the drift.

WARNING....AVOID – My advise to anyone looking at dealing with this company is to do your research. They demand full payment before delivery and then don't deliver for weeks...our experience was 8 weeks and then they didn't deliver everything that we had paid for. They then avoid you and don't offer a refund. We have reported them to the Qld office of Fair Trade and the ACCC

Disorganised and incompetent right through their organisation – I ordered a high single carport for my motorhome. After I had paid, trying to get people there to contact me was frustrating. Customer Care officer, and that he'd be personally overseeing my case. He too never called back, except on the very last day. When the carport did arrive, vital parts were missing, and they had to put them on a courier truck to deliver. The roofing iron came from the iron maker, a couple of weeks after the rest of the structure. When I asked for the quote to include the price to erect it, the carport salesman told the erector it was a single carport - he didn't say it was a high one for a motorhome, so that when the guy came to erect it he did not have a high ladder with him, nor an offsider, and he said the cost would be considerably higher than the quote he gave, because Transportable Shade Sheds had given him the wrong information.

The finished product was ok, but getting that product up took over two months from the time I ordered it, with too many frustrating delays.
