On 31 July, at around 10:00 am, I attended the ALDI Auburn store to request a warranty assessment for a milk frother that stopped working after… Read more

approximately five months. The appliance had only been used a few times. I brought the original receipt with me.

The store's relieving shift manager, "XXXX", advised me that the milk frother was not covered under warranty and that he could not assist me. I explained that, according to ALDI's warranty policy and the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law), the product should still be covered if it has failed within a reasonable period.

[Name Removed] responded by saying, "I'm not going to do that. Go wherever you want." Several customers in the store told him that he was mistaken. Some of them searched the ALDI website on their phones and showed him ALDI's warranty policy for the milk frother. Despite this, he insisted that the policy did not apply to the model I had purchased. He repeatedly stated that he was the manager and that what he said was final.

I then asked him to contact or speak with his manager to confirm the warranty policy, but he refused. His behaviour was dismissive, unprofessional, and inconsistent with the level of customer service I would expect from ALDI.

I would like ALDI to investigate this matter thoroughly, including reviewing the store's CCTV footage from around 10:00 am on 31 July. The footage will confirm what occurred and the discussions that took place between myself, [Name Removed], and the other customers who witnessed the incident and attempted to assist by showing him ALDI's own warranty policy. I also request that my warranty claim be assessed in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Australian Consumer Law) and ALDI's warranty policy.

I am also seeking legal advice regarding the way I was treated. I believe I was unnecessarily delayed in the store for an extended period and publicly humiliated while the relieving manager attempted to demonstrate that his decision was final and above challenge. I found his conduct disrespectful, intimidating, and completely unacceptable.

Online home delivery shopping is something I choose to STOP. I received damaged products in home delivery and attempted to call the store direct only… Read more

to find this cann ont happen, instead we are transferred to Ai Olive to decide our course of action. I wanted to contact Woolworths direct to simply request that delivery drivers take care and just a little bit more responsibility with handling. My dry products resembled being used as a football and the damage was exposed upon opening to consume. I put in a complaint as forced by the Ai Olive process and received ab e-mail stating that my complaint was unsucessful. Now remember that it wasnt my original intention to complain for reimbursemement. I attempted to locate a store telephone number direct and was then given a number to call bt Ai Olive once again. I called the number and it has a voice message stating that a wait of possibly over one hour WILL be likely because as usual all lines and operators are busy. I triede this service multiple times with the same outcome. Ai is obviously here to stay and apparently so is Olive. However when Ai is simply in place to fill a process without a final outcome it would appear that the joke is on us people. My suggestion is to purchase wisely and only buy unbreakables as you will not receive satisfaction or resolve. My outcome was apparently driven by Ai OLIVE simply because I didnt consume my products in a timely manner, inside a couple of days! yep, the right to consume in a timely manner is also being dictated to us by the BIG BUSINESS. This is not a fake review!

split or the bag had been in bad storage conditions. I no longer had the receipt so i sent photos of the package with the contents and barcode as they requested, they also wanted a photo of the use by date, which i also sent them. I requested a voucher to cover the cost of the product, coles then advised me to take the product instore for an exchange. i am currently not able to go instore, which is why I requested a voucher so i could use it online. To this date, which is 2 weeks later, i have not received a response from Coles. I have followed them up and let them know I am not happy with their customer service so far, Coles need to stand by their values and reimburse for the faulty product, i have done my part by forwarding them the photos of the issue. However, Coles have chosen to ignore my emails. I will now go to Woolworths and IGA. Not happy with Coles at all.

was a definite "off" smell that just didn't seem right. It was vacuum packed and marked as 100% Aust. lamb with 1 week left before expiry. I still proceeded to roast both shanks in the oven and once cooked it still had the bad smell that I was just not familiar with as Aussie lamb. It just didn't have that typical recognisable flavour. I tried to eat it but just couldn't because of the smell so I threw it all into the bin. A friend of mine who is an ex butcher had warned me about their quality. It might be cheaper, but it's not worth losing an acceptable quality. Lesson learnt!

cleaning product. It came in small trigger bottles or larger containers. As it needed to be strong for my application, I called to check if all of the sizes were the same strength. Cleaners Supermarket checked with the manufacturer for me and found that small trigger packs were diluted. I asked to change my order but either there was a mix up, or I was too late and I received the diluted version. Cleaners Supermarket sent me out the proper stuff, without delay, at no charge. To be fair, it was the manufacturer's fault anyway, for not putting this information on the containers.

I am very impressed with the support I received from Cleaners Supermarket and would highly recommend them.
