my property out and the tenant was moving into the property later in the week. Steve, acted immediately on my request without hesitation. He promptly went to my home on the day I had called and accessed it via my real estate agent given I am interstate. He provided me with my quote and upon my acceptance he facilitated the packing of my home 2 days after my request and the removal of the furniture the day thereafter. To top it off, Steve and his team kept me fully abreast of everything throughout the process. I was well informed and everything I was told was delivered. I wIll receive my furniture in a weeks time to my place of abode in Queensland in a week. Finally, a slight hiccup came up, in that not all of my furniture could fit in the container, however prior to the furniture departing Perth, Steve phoned me personally and advised me that the team made it work. A huge saving for me given I was prepared for those items to come later in a shared container. I can highly recommend Steve and his team. Steve as an owner is exceptional. He has delivered to the highest level imaginable! I am so happy with the service and the outcome. The service provided and the trust installed made this process for me stress free and easy! Very poor service and customer care – If I could give no stars I would. I had a last minute job. Quoted $205 an hour for a packing and removal to storage of a 2/3 full 2x1 unit. Packing of 15 tea chest size boxes. For $205 an hour, you get removalists who show up without enough boxes and get to go to Bunnings and buy more yourself.then discover they didn't ask for enough so a heap… Read more

of items get loaded to the truck not boxed.

For $205 an hour you discover you have 2 men, 1 who is usually an offsider, the other who started a week ago and has zero experience (and very limited english).

For $205 an hour you get to repack some of the boxes you packed prior because the second man packed ice cube trays still with ice cubes in them which subsequently melted and ruined 4 boxes.

For $205 an hour you get to pay for their lunch break because the owner said the gps in the truck says they didnt take a lunch break (couldn't possibly have been because they sat in my drive and ate it?)

For $205 an hour you then get to pack all of your stuff into the storage unit yourself because your movers have no clue about stacking and packing and started by filling corners with all the loose odds and ends that didn't make it into boxes. You make sure your fridge doors are propped open, because they didnt and you make sure your lounge pieces are stacked on their frames and not the soft cushions so when you eventually unpack it it's not flattened in places that never bounce back ($3k lounge). Storing 101!

For $205 an hour you get 2 workers who move so inefficiently that the whole job takes 9 hours. 9 hours for a 2/3 full 2x1 unit, no stairs, direct access to the truck and then storage unit.

For $205 an hour you get to have a heated discussion with the owner [Name Removed] who tells me he's been doing this a long time and that's how long it takes. You get NO responsibility taken for any part of the process. All you get is 30 minutes taken off - thanks, that covers the lunch break you said they didn't take.

On a side note, another removal company arrived just after we did with a 4x2 to unload. They were 3/4 of the way through when my blokes finally finished the 2x1.

Shame on you [Name Removed]. A good business man can admit when his team may not have been up to scratch, which yours certainly were not that day. Had I been paying a cheap rate I'd expect it. Over $1800 for this job - no other words for it, you've ripped me off.

us move. A2B Removals as a company. Pros- *great staff and very professional *they look after your property like it was their own. *punctual and efficient. Cons- *Beware of the extra charge "depot to depot" While we were aware of this and that there would be a charge, the depot is +/- 3km from our start and finish address, we were slugged and extra hour when 15 minutes would have covered their time to and from depot more than once, which was abit frustrating as a whole extra hour was never accounted for and we had done the right thing brought their team lunch supplied drinks and a six pack of beers for their trip home, left me feeling a bit overcharged especially considering how close the depot is to us. To be honest did leave me a bit pissed off on what was overall a good day.

Would I recommend yes 100% just heads up on that extra charge though. Happy customer and will use again - yes for sure.

Shocking service – Interstate move booked from WA to NT with a 50% deposit. 1 week prior to planned move told by third party (Muval) that A2B has cancelled the job as they read the address incorrectly and as such wouldn’t honour the contract. No contact from A2B themselves. No opportunity to rebook and left in a huge lurch just prior to moving. Don’t use them.

As I had two great experiences, I went there for the third time - and that was a big mistake!

As the first time, I have contacted A2B to relocate some items (approximately 2-bedroom unit) from Rivervale (Perth, WA) to Hornsby (Sydney, NSW) in Oct-2017.

At the beginning all went smooth, even including a car relocation. all items been carefully picked up and placed into the truck. and that when the good experience finished. For the delivery in Sydney, A2B contracting Curtis Bros. for the delivery the truck/workers were late; got extra $ (on top of negotiated price, threatening me to go away and come back another day) for unloading truck and delivering into the unit; delivered damaged goods and boxes, rip through the mattress! One box was (and still!) was not delivered, and a multi-tool was missing from my toolbox. That happened in Oct-17. Now, 6 months later it still not sorted, even I had paid for the insurance!

The latest update: with a lot of persistence, a middle ground for a reimbursement amount between the company and myself has been reached, and all agreed funds received. I've been told that the company eliminated the problem subcontractor, and now opened a Sydney branch for smoother removals. Will try next time.

VERY BAD and WORST !! NEVER USE THEM FOR INTERSTATE MOVE – We have had the worst experience with this company to move from Perth to Brisbane. how can it match when the guy who quotes says 1 item for queen bed and at the time of pick up when they dismantle the bed they count 5 items for the same bed likewise we had another bed and baby cot which were counted as 1 item in quote but in actual inventory they increased and labelled all the dismantled items, when they say they will blanket wrap the cleaning items like Broom stick, mops etc they will individually label all the items and then blanket wrap and later will claim that items are increased whereas the guy who quoted allows certain cubic meter. I understand quote does not match the actual inventory always but when they do this to cheat you by increasing the items and forcing you to pay additional and say it will not be delivered its purely being deceitful to the customer.

2. Secondly, they packed empty boxes to increase the cubic meter, when asked why was this done they said we have not charged you for those boxes we charge by the cubic meter. According to them 1 Cubic meter =8 boxes and they packed 7 boxes empty which obviously increases the cubic meter for which we were forced to pay, NO EXPLAINATION for this so far.

3. Regarding the inventory that they do, be careful with what they state Damaged, scratched, rubbed etc.. in our case all the big items they blindly said it was scratched, badly worn, damage in all angles. Example; Cot Mattress/Queen mattress and they will cover their back indicating all items were damaged/scratched in all the directions of the item.

4. At the time of delivery, it will sub-contracted to someone else who will not do report on the inventory as they will not have it.

5. Insurance – We had damaged items delivered, on claiming them it took 3 months for them just to respond and after that they have so many reasons to not accept the claim like the picture is not clear, A2B – how many times picture is not clear I think there is something wrong with device that you are using to see or with your cheater eyes. With all this they have still not got back to us with several reminder, I had to sit and do the Director work when he said can you give the item code of the damage when in Inventory it clearly says Sofa item is so and so.. I had to take the picture and highlight the item and after that guess what still it was not clear to them and I still did not give up I still did it and the great response was not clear and said if they send a person to check and it turns down not faulty we are liable to pay that guy the visiting cost. What does that tell me is clear their motive is not to cover but use the Insurance amount in their books to show profit.

A2B – If you are a professional and have value for your customer you would have addressed all this issue reasonably, the damage claimed would have not costed you much but you are trying to save that money and I would not recommend anyone in this world to use your poorest grade service at any cost.

We changed the flooring in our upstairs area from carpet to wood. A2B was there to help at a moment’s notice, which we were very lucky and grateful for. They carefully disassembled the beds and bookshelves and moved all the items with great care into the garage. A week later, they returned to reassemble everything back into place.
