Charged exorbitant and provides very poor service. TV has not worked for 2 months. Usually does not return calls and claims installer unavailable to repair. Supposed to be a 3-year warranty. This business has no email address so as to avoid customers putting their legitimate concerns in writing. Should be reported to Fair Trading in Victoria and… Read more
NSW. This business has no contractors currently based in Wollongong, Campbelltown, Goulburn etc. It is FALSE advertising.
Charged $2000 to instal aerial, TV wouldn't even show channels and when called back 'Boss' said there's something wrong with the TV which was rubbish - a technician from a more reputable company soon got it working properly - overcharged and incompetent!
I was given by a friend a brand new antenna and and steel mounting base for a colorbond roof. They said they could install but no warranty on products. Fair enough. A month after install I noticed the antenna flapping around with wind. So I called the company and they said soŕry No warranty on the product. I told them the antenna is find its the… Read more
poor install job. It was only screwed to the ridge cap and not the roof structure. Very very rude and poor customer service and workmanship. I would definitely would not recommend this company.

Absolutely terrible, rip off, take your money and dont do job promised and lie to you. Read reviews, terrible. The guy who takes your call has no interest in helping, just makes excuses with no care factor. Dodgy Dodgy Dodgy !!!!.
Steer clear from this company, charged me $400 for a job that he said was fixed which wasnt, rang 3 times only to be lied to about the guy being on holidays, refused to refund money for a job not done. Total ripoff and once he gets your money, he doesnt want to know you.

include but nothing on the invoice either. Was at the premises for under 1hr. False advertising so many better options out there. DO NOT USE them Website has the option for testimonials but doesn't show any as if I read this wouldn't of called them. FYI Antenna used "6 Element VHF" antenna and can also use a Matchmaster brand. Do some research on them first. See Jaycar or Cetnaj for best options for your areas. DON'T USE ANTENNA MAN - REDCLIFFE
A kid posing as a cowboy – Antenna installed and works perfectly well. Though it was more expensive than quoted. The problem we had, was that the installer stepped over one of heating ducts, causing them to disconnect. He didn't even have the decency to tell us. We only found out when our bedroom was freezing on a cold night. I spent an hour of Saturday night trying to fix… Read more
it. Didn't return my call for 3 days. And when he rang me back, his first words were "What's wrong". Then was blaming the heating company who installed the unit. Avoid at all costs.
Terrible Service – Just had the worst service by a guy who came to install/fix our antenna. Don't know his name. We were told he would come “today”. He ended up showing up at 6:15pm and stayed for nearly two hours. We have a four year old son who couldn’t go to bed on time due to the drilling in the living room. This man also left grubby hand and finger marks on… Read more
my couch (on both sides), on the ceiling, and in our bathroom. The bathroom sink had the plug in it and was filled with water. There was black all over the sink and the sides of the sink as well - (wish I got a picture of that, but instinctively cleaned it up as I had no idea where it had come from - I had just finished cleaning the bathroom!)
He left furniture out and didn’t put anything back either.
I would not use this company again. For starters, who goes to someone’s house at 6pm on a Friday night for two hours? If I’d have known, I’d never have agreed to it.
No courtesy, no respect, no good bedside manners.

Wish I had looked at the reviews before engaging this company. Technician attended promptly which was great but that’s where it stopped. Yes got my problem fixed. It was the power supply to which I was charged $70 plus gst. I could have bought it… Read more
for $25. Changed about 2.5m of cable $40 plus. He was there half an hour and the bill was $408. Lucky they offered $100 off as a promotion. A joke in itself when they charged $250 for the labour. Stay away from this business unless you want to get robbed.. In hindsight I wish I never paid it. STAY AWAY!!
Follow-up · As expected when dealing with this business, no follow up, no customer care factor… KEEP AWAY!!
Quick response. Richard was flexible with regard to arranging the appointment, which needed to wait on my delivery. At short notice was able to complete same day service. Farid, who did the installation, was exceptional - punctual, polite, knew what… Read more
he was doing, efficient and tidy. Took an existing TV off the mounting and mounted the new TV. Different brands needing different screws were not an issue. Both old and new TV were handled with great care. Price was very reasonable. Would highly recommend this service.
Follow-up · The booking was simple - I made the phone call, described the job and organised for someone to come the same day. The only thing I will note, is that there appears to be a range of “Antenna Man” businesses out there, and when I came to review on Google, I was so confused, I could not identify which was the one I used and so I chose to only review… Read more

We contacted Antenna Man to wall mount a large TV. I believe my call was received at a remote point and the technician contacted by that person with a time of attendance given. However the technician did not arrive in time as I had to leave for a drs appointment and a later time was organised for the same day. As this time was overdue and the… Read more
technician hadn’t arrived I called again and the person apologised saying they were held up due to work load and a further time was given for the next morning. This time the Technician (Maz) arrived early and completed the job well. He was a lovely guy and I appreciated his professionalism. I would have given a 5 star review if not for the 2 failed appointment times on the first day.
found Antenna Man online, sent an email. Received a call within 20 mins. Organised a call out for the afternoon. Received call for an earlier call out. Happy with that. I was told they would come bet. 12 and 1 arrived at 2. The job that was done by Jackson was exceptional, a really friendly and very professional and polite young man. I paid $150 less than the 1st quote l received. If you don't mind that they may be a bit late l would definitely recommend them. My son has just contacted them as he was impressed with the job done at my home Show details

Beware of these dodgy operators. Came to quote on my TV antenna reception problem. Did not bother going up to test the antenna or booster. Just said both needed replacement, minimum cost $800 for new antenna & booster. When i queried the price he immediately took $100 off but only if I booked that day. This Company are clearly trying to rip people… Read more
off. Note you can’t leave a review on their website. No surprise there. Called a trustworthy operator instead. Problem fixed for $165.
Ask the actual brand and name of the antenna they are suggesting to install. Check the price online for that specific item. Check the warranty on the item and get a manufacturer label of some sort for the antenna if you decide to have one installed. Check the invoice before paying and make sure it has a description of what was installed (brand and… Read more
specifications not just a generic "New VHF antenna") and check that the invoice has a warranty number of years on it that matches what you have been told verbally. If you are told verbally that there are three levels of antenna with three different prices, check each brand online before deciding to go ahead. Tis will help avoid paying $990 excluding GST for an antenna that looks suspiciously like one available for $105 including GST.
Absolutely Appalling Service (STAY WELL AWAY) Honestly, even one star feels far too generous. This was, in my opinion, one of the most frustrating and disappointing service experiences I’ve ever had. Yes, the technician managed to fix the reception issue — but everything else he touched was left in a complete disaster. He ran wires randomly… Read more
across the roof, left old cables dangling everywhere, didn’t even bother securing the new wires to the antenna pole, and created an absolute tangled mess of everything. And to top it off, he drilled a hole through our gutter just to get the antenna wire into the house. Who does that!?
He quoted $990 and assured me that was the total price, only to tack on another $130 for “bits and pieces.” An absolute rip-off.
When I called the number on the invoice to complain, I was told someone would come fix the mess. And surprise, surprise — I’m still waiting.

Suprised at the many negative reviews for Antenna Man I read after my new antenna install. carefully the problems if I had bird spikes installed onto my existing TV antenna that would reduce something? from 60% to 20%. Offered new antenna prices and I choose the second highest model. I paid the following. Antenna - vhf Digital Antenna 4G LTE Filter $990.00 Mount - 3L DB Amplifier $390.00 Splitters - 2 $85.00 each Points - Bird spikes on antenna $150.00 Reduction credit $200.00 5 years of labour warranty Net $1,415 - GST $141 - I paid in total $1,556 I requested a new antenna with bird spikes and was not pushed to go ahead with this. He was so efficient and I'm very happy Antenna Man though would warn consumers even if the antenna work is urgent essentail to first obtain a written itemised price quote as my verbal $770 ended up $1,566.
Read reviews before engaging this company. Hired to mount a tv on the wall which was previously working and sitting on a tv unit. Prompt call back and arrived same day as advertised. Firstly I was requested to help with lifting and placing a large tv (currently visibly pregnant female) which I would assume is not normal service standard. Other… Read more
companies stated they would send two people for this job given the size of the tv. Turns out their service is also overpriced as I sadly only found out in retrospect. After the job was done I turned on the tv only to now have my free2air not working. I called the company the next morning to address the issue thinking someone had just forgotten to connect the antenna cord when doing the cable management. The guy on the phone did not give a time window and said someone one come that day. Nobody turned up, nobody called to apologise or reschedule.. for the next 3 days. I then called again and was told “the job must have gotten lost in the rush” and someone would come again that day. They arrived and then told me conveniently that my antenna had “snapped” on the roof? Then requested access to the manhole to take a look. After some time they returned and told me they didn’t believe I ever had free2air as apparently the cable was never connected to the antenna in the roof. This was disbelief as I mentioned if I had tv issues I would have mentioned this on Day 1 also… We previously had used a cable and connected it to the wall as usual and things were fine prior to tv being mounted. I was then told a splitter was installed and then I would only be charged for the part and $190 labour!! At no stage was extra work discussed nor a quote disclosed or agreed upon prior to this apparent work being done, not to mention it was unnecessary. This has been an infuriating experience and I feel as though this is an attempt to take advantage on people. There are PLENTY of other services out there to consider.
Well it cost me nothing…. Cause he never showed up. Waited 3 hours till the “between 9-12” window had expired before I called. “Can’t do it, the rain has caused a back log” no call, no nothing just a waste of time. I see most reviews are negative
Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. We had Sammy visit to sort out a problem with the TV resulting in it only needing to change the channel to HDMI on our TV. Do NOT GIVE THIS GUY YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!! I only gave one star because I can’t give zero. Yes he was on time and he did fix the issue. But he has no concept of business ethics. I had looked up the part I knew to be faulty but could not source it. The price tag I had seen was $250. So when he said, it will be $490 plus GST I thought, well, it’s… Read more
hard to get away for less than $200 call-out and labour so I agreed, since he said he had the component (black box gadget plus power supply) with him. So, yes the job was fixed but when he scurried off after payment hurriedly throwing the old component in the bin but taking my old power supply (f’r’Ron I guess) I got suspicious, checked what he’d done and found he had used a $20 component that I could have installed. Not quite a crook but awful bloody close.
Such a good company. Very friendly and expert, getting good TV picture with new antenna.
Terrible experience⚠️ ( STAY WELL CLEAR) – Stay well clear its a rip off ⚠️ ⚠️Totally overpriced, not including gst in the quote is a sneaky trick ,seriously don't even think about getting this company, I feel like an idiot for not doing my homework beforehand , but hay if I can stop someone else from making the same mistake great .Every trick in… Read more
the book is used to extract as much money as possible from you as stated when you read other genuine reviews on this site, they will give you an outrageous price on a aerial if you don't agree on that price they will ask you for 150 plus for finding the problem. DONT be sucked in by this it clearly states FREE QUOTE AND NO CALL OUT ,the 100 off this week advertisement is there every week they will tell you when paying its already included in price . As stated previously in regards to adding GST to the quote at payment time after a verble or written quote has already been given is illegal and I have confirmed this with ACCC when I reported them . Stay well clear of this business. When everyone is struggling already with everyday living expenses this business is shamefull, you can't review them on there site or google NOT SUPRISED at all ,so please spread the word if you know anyone thinking of getting an aerial or repair work done as companies like this shouldn't be in business its shamefull .By the sounds of it they operate under different names in different places the best advice I can give would be if your unable to read or write a review on any website give it a big miss.
Great same day service, helpful technician, warranty and very happy with my TV
Avoid at all costs. Charged $750.00 for a new antenna that normally retails for around $100.00. The technician arrived in an unmarked van and when I questioned this he said it was his own vehicle. The invoice was scribbled, largely illegible and not itemised and he insisted on a bank transfer immediately. The only contact seems to be by telephone… Read more
so I requested a proper invoice on 10/2, 12/2, 14/2 and 24/2 but to no avail. I also emailed them but no reply. I am still waiting. I cannot question the technician's competence but I have never come across such a dishonest and unprofessional company with absolutely no regard for the customer. I wonder if the Fair Trade Commission or the Consumer Complaints Commission can do anything to prevent Antenna Man conning more unsuspecting people.
Perhaps they will have a conscience and as a goodwill gesture, refund part of the cost of the antenna ....... but there again, perhaps they won't!
Don’t trust. Without looking at antenna, he said I needed new antenna priced 690 to 1100. I was suspicious, so he then said I needed a new booster at 390. Still smelled a rat, so I asked him to inspect antenna and cabling post cyclone Alfred. When confronted with having to get on the roof (which he didn’t), he claimed he could fix from inside the… Read more
house and installed a new power supply to antennae. His cost for plugging in this $35 piece of equipment and giving ill advice was $319. Before he left, he told me that I should call him back to install a new aerial (690-1000) and new cabling (1200-1800) and included quote for new booster (390). In summary, according to him, I needed a new aerial, a new booster, and new cabling to two tv sets because of water ingress. How amazing that a $35 piece of equipment overcame all of these problems. My advice to you is - next time, do that first and forget the scam talk.
Overpriced, not trustworthy. Unmarked van should have been a red flag. Indian guy charged me $385 to replace the power supply for antenna booster. Took 2 minutes. I googled later: I could have bought one of these for $30 and installed it myself (just plug it in). He also tried to convince me I needed a new antenna at a cost of $600-$1,000. But the… Read more
existing antenna still works and seems fine. I wish I'd read reviews but I was struggling with bad internet connection. I thought I was doing the right thing by using a local company. To the Antenna Man, if you charge a fair price (i.e. refund me $200), I will amend this review to something more favourable.
Literally a bunch of cheap scammers. Dodgy indian guy in an unmarked van came and told us our antenna was broken and needed replacing, then asked us to pay $800. Didn't trust anything he said. Turns out our antenna was completely fine, the issue was completely unrelated. Had a guy from a different company come out and fix the issue in 5 minutes.
