Budget "forget" – How Canstar can possibly advise that Budget Direct is "insurer of the year" is beyond me. In December 2023 changed to Budget after accepting Canstar review. Great at the time until you make a claim. Absolute disaster and yet to be resolved. No customer service and no communication. Canstar hang your heads in shame! David Taylor

I wanted to renew House and Contents insurance as current offering had increased by 42% By using Canstar top five enabled me to find a good deal with minimum of fuss. Current policy is in fact cheaper than previous years policy.

Looking for travel insurance. When I saw it was Canster accredited I believed it will be a secure & honest insurance company. Obviously, it has great reviews to get this recognition. I had confidence taking out the policy.

i like that Canstar direct me to the company's website and i was able to get a quote or not. unlike some other website that wants you to leave a phone number and then they do not stop calling!

Canstar must be a joke. How can Budget Insurance get awards when all they do is jack their prices up every year 12%. Wages don't go up that much. It's such a network of scams.

More of a Critic: Consistently leave out relevant facts (or at least options) in reviews. Doesnt seem to be able to accept feedback on most articles. Doesnt canvass the entire market (in the sector being reviewed)

Wouldn’t recommend switching health insurance with these guys. There’s better places that are obsessed in switching you over and actually helping you out. I spoke with a gentleman who used to work here who now doesn’t unfortunately did the whole exercise with someone else and to cut it short I hung up. I wish I remembered who I spoke with.

I wasn’t aware that Canstar offered direct personalised 1:1 comparison services with an agent until now. I’m glad I made the discovery. my preference to skip any call centre woo woo and come straight to the detail. That’s what good customer service is about - nicely done Jack!

I’ve since done the hard crunch on numbers and worked out that will $950 better off over 15 months, albeit without any reduction in cover either need or want piece of mind on. I had a good policy before and I have a better one now.

For anyone sceptical about pushy or naive agents, this wasn’t the case here at all.

We jumped on a promotion at the time with HCF health fund and was told if we sign up through CANSTAR that we would get 6 weeks free of repayments. Canstar's fast response. Overall Canstar were amazing with getting us a great deal with HCF so we were very happy with the advisor, she made everything so much easier. I will definitely use Canstar again.

Alex is efficient and professional, he tailored his advice for specific situation, rather than reading out the policy itself. Alex ' service has been spot on. I only wish all the service industry personnel would learn this from Alex.

Excellent help from Shannon Fuller with finding a new health insurance policy to switch to with my wife. He was able to help breakdown what we were looking for in a new policy and present us with great options that met our expectations regarding inclusions and cost.

I hadn't checked my credit rating or score since 2023 and was curious to see if there had been any change since then. I chose the Canstar service and was pleasantly surprised as to how easy it was. I just needed to supply my Driver's License and Medicare details to get what I needed.

Cheyenne was very helpful and kept all the overwhelming details in an easy to understand format whether it was via conversation, text or documentation. She also was very patient with my husband who wasn't quick at making his mind up.

Searched for house and contents insurance as i had received an unfavourable renewal notice form my present insurer, approximately 25% increase from previous year. Unfortunately all of the results were higher than the original quote so will be staying with them.

change my Insurance as I was able to take advantage of an offer being made through the recommended company's website.. Perhaps Canstar should look at negotiating these offers for their clients when doing comparison offers.

The easiest place to find a better deal and sign up to a new provider. Unlike the commission sites, they don't bombard you the marketing messages as soon as they have your email address.

Found this product full of useful information, however, the website and app don’t always respond to requests from the program. This can be frustrating especially with house and content insurance, etc. That aside, Canstar is excellent in providing great information on a number of issues and products, I use it regularly.
