Despite this, their system set repayments for Wednesdays and offered no option to adjust. This feels like predatory lending, designed to maximize dishonor fees ($30 per missed payment).

First repayment before payday: I received the loan on 11 July, and the first repayment was due on 16 July—before my next payday. Again, this seems like a deliberate tactic to schedule a repayment before the customer has the ability to repay, then charge them a fee.

Unhelpful customer service: When I emailed to request a schedule adjustment and removal of a dishonor fee, they simply stated the fee was valid and warned that changing the schedule could trigger another monthly account fee.

I understand people turn to lenders like this out of desperation—I did too—but look for literally any other option before choosing them.
