The fellow I started the process with was fantastic! Merwyn. After that it went a bit hay wire to me. Waited weeks for the system to and then was asked to chase the installation side of things down? A bit poor I thought. Yes, plenty of hidden extras but still after saying all that they were good value for money than other companies out there.
From buying to installation, the whole process was good. They came and installed it professionally. Communications with the customer services was also good. They took responsibility to look after customers. Making sure their customers are happy and peace of mind. Will recommend this company to friends and neighbours. Show reply
Hi Tech installed my Aquatec Heat pump,the installers were very professional polite. The Electrician made sure i new exactly the extra cabling length cost.Installation was quick. Marie and Liam kept me informed with a quick turnaround . Show 2 replies

The guys did a great job installing two new systems for us (big house hosting up to 16 people at a time) 2 new heat pump systems providing 630 l of water. There was a small increase ($190) from originally quoted amount, because they had to run all new wires and install 2 new fuses in the fuse box. installation details just with photos, emails and some calls will lead to a genuine quote, I gave it a go and got a quote. A few months later, once I was ready for the installation, I reached out to Ray again to confirm the quote. As HiTech Hot Water’s quote offer was competitive, I decided to go ahead with them, and I wasn’t disappointed. For the installation process, Liam took over, guided me through the process and on the day of installation checked in with me whether all was going according to plan. Both, Ray and Liam were very attentive and made the process very easy, thanks. Selling is one thing, but installation another and I want to acknowledge the installers, Peter for the plumbing and Julian for the electrical part of the installation. Both did a great job and did a very neat installation, excellent workmanship. Let me thank and acknowledge both Ray and Liam for the selling and organisation part of the job, as well as Peter and Julian for a tremendous installation job. We live in Forbes in Central West NSW, and Hi-Tech Hot Water travelled all the way to us with no additional travel fees, which was fantastic and made the whole process even better.
The installation team arrived exactly when they said they would, completed the installation professionally, and left everything spotless. They removed our old 19-year-old hot water system and also took away all of the packaging and rubbish from the new unit, so there was nothing left for us to clean up.
The whole process was easy from start to finish, and we're thrilled with the end result. Our new heat pump is now heating our hot water during the day using our solar system instead of paying to heat water overnight. It's exactly what we wanted, and we're already looking forward to the savings.
We highly recommend Hi-Tech Hot Water to anyone considering a heat pump hot water system. Their communication, customer service and workmanship were outstanding from start to finish.

there is negative feedback out there about extra charges on installation day, I certainly did not experiance that. Highly recommended.
Follow-up · The hot water heater is performing well, the water is plenty hot enough and can be topped up with the electric element, the overall cost was $3000 supply and installed back to back from inside laundry to outside sharing the same wall. The whole process from quote to install was less then 10 days.

HiTech Hot Water installed an Aquatech/Dynamic X8 heat pump HWS for us in Ararat at the end of August. At every stage they were professional, prompt and polite. Phone and email communication was excellent. The plumber and electricians were on time, competent and offered useful advice. A temperature sensor issue revealed itself the next day, but Eddy their in-house problem solver consulted with Aquatech and fixed the issue. Show 2 replies

on the head of installation who failed to communicate an installation date, had to be chased up and then when it was delayed did not inform me. Even worse after installation tried to charge me extras despite all the valves (4 of them) were specified in the contract, when challenged agreed that the quote did include them and did not charge extra.

Due to an urgent need to replace the broken gas hot water system, I was charged $2700 for the system + basic installation. Extra $500 for relocating the system from inside the house to outside. I did not know that I was overcharged until getting a quote for similar Econova system for only $1299 for my sister place. I should not have trusted this outsourced company and looked for a better deal.

Plumbing and travel time because my old plumbing was not up to standard. Also they were short on time because they had another job to drive to 3-4hrs away. I told them to "just do it" so they did and you can see the results in the photo. I spoke to HiTech several times about this but they were just not interested. My plumbing was clearly visible to them in the photos they had and they should have been prepared and quoted the job properly when they got to site to do the installation. I have given a bad review so that others will not suffer the same result. I had to pay a plumber to come and fix their mess up. First photo is the old plumbing and second photo is HiTech plumbing. I warned them I would put in a negative review and they did not seem to care or get back to me.
