Don't waste your time. Listened to 3 quotes ranging from $1000 to nearly $3500. Paid my $96 call out fee. Had a independent plumber come out had a look at the problem found it straight away, nothing to do with my property. Cost me nothing. Gave the plumber some money for time and petrol

Called Irwin’s plumbing at 0900 with bubbling in our sinks and slow draining toilets, Henry called and was on the way within the hour. Great service and very clear explanation of the potential problem and he was spot on. Cleaned the drains with high pressure showed us footage on the camera. Problem sorted. Very happy would use this company again.

Call out fee after hours also expensive. They got the job done but follow up is needed but will get some quotes on that.

Edit: Definitely get quotes to fix reported problems and follow up. Irwins got a fixed pricing it seems to fix problems that need follow up which might be overly expensive..

Hayden knows his stuff, doing a Reno on an old home that just keeps on giving was no issue for Hayden and the Team. He was always available to take a call and got the job done to a great standard. So far Jack and Callum have been excellent representatives for the Company . They arrived well within the time quoted yesterday assessed the problem and by 6-00 had water restored . Before that the problems were explained before commencement. They were patient in explaining the job . Show reply

Absolute [Content Removed], do not go near these people. Overcharged by several $Thousand. They are very good at [Content Removed] you. Tests that don't need to be done, 'faulty' tablets that obscure real cost of 'work' while carefully wording quotes to mislead you. Do NOT trust these people!

This plumbing service claims to be “fast service” “same-day” “reliable” etc etc but this actually isn’t the case. busy. I noted over the weekend several other plumbers also falsely advertised prompt response when it’s just not the case at all. It wastes people’s time & is very poor

Plumbing job was good, however had to pay deposit to get plumber to arrive, then pay another value just to get them to look where the problem was and another value to actually do the job. Was twice the value as the previous plumber experience I had. Will never use them again.

Taylor came out to out home today to fix our sewer pipe. He is extremely professional, excellent communication skills and has a lot of experience in the plumbing field. Took his time explaining all our options and was able to fix the problem. I highly recommend Taylor for any of your plumbing issues. Show reply

Caleb. And Michael were very professional and quick to respond to our query. They came and evaluated the leaky pipe and had it repaired within an hour. then went back to their car to prepare quotes. They returned with three highly detailed - and shockingly high - options:

• Replace the entire 13-year-old toilet suite: $3000+

• Replace the cistern: $2000+

• “Service” the toilet: $1400

I said all three were far too high and that I only wanted the faulty part replaced. They went back to their car again to call the company. I was already feeling stressed before they arrived, and the situation was becoming overwhelming, so I asked a neighbour with building experience to join me.

The plumbers returned with their phone, someone on the line asking what I wanted done. I repeated that I only needed the damaged parts replaced and hadn’t expected such inflated quotes. I was told they could do that, but without a warranty. I agreed.

They went back to the car yet again and returned with a fourth quote: $600+ for the simple repair I had originally requested. Still too steep. I paid the call out fee ($142) and declined further work.

Before leaving, they said they needed to call their compliance officer. As I was speaking with my neighbour, they brought me the phone again, and another person began re-explaining the quotes. By this point I was so stressed and overwhelmed that the tears started - something I’m not proud of. The conversation ended and the plumbers left.

The next evening, I watched a YouTube video to see how to remove the seal. No tools required. Twist, click, wipe, reinsert drain valve, adjust inlet valve - done. The toilet was fixed in under 30 minutes, and apart from the wasted call out fee, it cost me $0.

Never been more disgusted in a company in my life. Thought they were coming into fix a leaking toilet. All it needed was a valve and seal to be replaced. Simple job that I've done many times in the past myself. Instead tried to sell me a $2500 new toilet. option" of just the innards for $1200. When I didn't agree they got their "manager" on the phone to try to convince me. Was told it would be a $145 call out fee that would come off the price if I proceeded. Asked them to just do the valve (which I had sitting there ready to go) and then was told that it would cost more as they'd have to get their tools out of their still running vehicle to do it. (It was something that could be done by hand, no tools needed). Paid them to get the extortionists out of my house. Next stop Bunnings. New toilet $227. Installation $299 and old one removed. Still in shock. At least I now have a good story to tell.

The team responded quickly to our initial blocked drain issue and put significant effort into clearing and cleaning the drainage system. charges, including further jetting and CCTV investigation, and spent considerable time getting to the bottom of the remaining issues.

Overall, there were aspects of the initial service and communication that could have been better, particularly given the significant cost, but I appreciate the effort the team put in afterwards to stand behind their work and resolve the problems.

Excellent service from Nico accessing the problem yesterday and Trent arriving on time this morning. Work done efficiently, timely and site left clean. Both men were exceptionally polite and well mannered, communication between Erwins, workers, my husband and myself was extremely efficient and left us fully informed. 15 out of 10 will be referring then to all who need plumbing works.
