Would highly recommend Brodie from Ballarat, communication & customer care roadside was 10/10. He stayed in touch, letting us know his timeline, arrived calm and explained absolutely everything to us in detail.. Gave us options to what we could do to get back on the road. Shane was amazing, I was stranded with a flat tire due to screw being in the tire. As soon as I called the lady did her best to have someone out. Called and booked for a second opinion on a tyre that would slowly lose air and had been for some time. I reached out to Jim’s here in Townsville and Shane messaged back quickly and offered to come out the same day. Arranged for the next day and was on time. He found the nail in my tyre in 30 seconds and showed me - it was obvious.
He offered a rotation also and within the hour my tyres had been rotated, the puncture repaired and the job was done. He showed me the tread and confirmed the tyres are fine to drive on and not at all dangerous or needing replacing. When it’s time however I will not hesitate to call Shane back to complete the work.

Great service. Fast and professional. Price was a bit high objectively, and was not transparent from the get-go. When I’d first called to inquire, I was told a lower piece, and when I flagged this upon arrival, I was told I never specified my car model over call (which I did). Show reply
Follow-up · Was quoted $40 over the phone. Was asked what car I had, said Mercedes A180, and they said all good. Then when I came to the store, the guy said it’ll be $65 and when I questioned it, scoffed that I never told them what car I had.

Follow-up · Shane fitted 4 tyres to my caravan it only took about 1 hour. The tyres were a load rating tyres which I asked for they were a lot cheaper than other yer places Good value. Shane was very clean and tidy himself and his workmanship. I would recommend him to any body Thanks Shane for a good job.

Highly recommend Shane! He’s extremely knowledgeable, well-priced and offers a great mobile service. He was always willing to help and find practical solutions. Couldn’t fault him!
Shane (Townsville) was excellent. He called me within 15 minutes of my enquiry and was at my house 30 minutes later. Set of 4 tyres from one set of rims to another and replaced existing rims on the my truck, he couldn’t have been more professional or efficient. I used Jim’s mobile tyres site to only try and get a quote for a puncture repair, to my dismay I received a call from the repair person telling me he would be at my home in an hour. I had to ask 3 times the cost for repair and eventually he told me $130 . At which stage I had to then tell him that I did not want job to go a head. I only accessed… Read more

Would give 0 stars if it was an option. Jim's advertises 24/7 roadside assistance. I made a call at 6pm on a friday night, got a response from a service man over 60hrs later at 9am the following monday. Useless service and false advertising. Typical of the Jim's business model.
Follow-up · No fees charged. Was told I would get a call back in 30-45mins ended up being 48hrs No service provided as they gave false advertising and wouldn't trust their work
I did consider Jim's mobile tires but they quoted $120 for a puncture repair and a $90 fee if it couldn't be repaired. Bob Janes quoted $55. In the end my tire couldn't be repaired so I'm glad I went to Bob Jane instead as they were able to replace the tire on the spot without charging me for the puncture repair. Show details
