Do not purchase from this company. It took me 22 phone calls and 2 months to get them to ship the bassinet that I paid $400 on. Terrible customer service and service in general.

Avoid this company – I ordered a Cybex e-Priam from Metro Baby during the Black Friday sale in November. It was supposed to be dispatched in December, but the delays were endless. Despite following up almost every other day for more than two weeks, there was zero progress. The company kept making excuses, blaming managers and the finance team for the delay, but they refused to provide any contact details for someone responsible. It became clear that they had no intention of returning my money.

Eventually, I had to raise a case through PayPal to recover my refund. Thankfully, PayPal resolved the issue in my favor, but it should never have come to this.

Avoid this company at all costs. They sell products they don’t have in stock, make you wait endlessly, and then make it nearly impossible to get your money back. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and wasted time — shop elsewhere.

AVOID AT ALL COST! – This has to be one of the WORST company’s I have ever dealt with!! Very Disappointing First Experience with Metro Baby – I am extremely disappointed with the experience I have had with Metro Baby, especially their customer service representative, Jess. After seeing the damages, I no longer feel it is safe or of good quality to use for my newborn and do not want a replacement. I simply want to return the damaged product I received, which I am entitled to.

I have gone back and forth for the past 5 days, via email, trying to return this product and there is absolutely no understanding from Metro Baby staff whatsoever.

I have contacted Consumer Affairs Victoria regarding this matter, and they have advised that I go straight to VCAT to resolve this matter as what Metro Baby is doing is unlawful under Australian Consumer Law, as the purchaser, should have the choice to either reject/refund or get a replacement, if the product supplied was not of acceptable quality. I have not done this yet as I do not want to take it that far, but seriously considering it.

This is so upsetting, as I would have simply purchased a different cot and the rest of the things I needed directly from Metro Baby, but after my experience I would never purchase anything from here again and would not recommend it to any family or friends.

I hope this can be resolved sooner rather than later.

Terrible customer service – I ordered an expensive change table in May and its now December. I still haven't received my order. product to sell. Very disappointing, especially when I spent a few hundred dollars on the item and then had to purchase an alternative option elsewhere to make do.

Lovely store – Always enjoy browsing Metro Baby. It's a lovely store with beautiful products and staff have always been incredibly helpful with answering our questions and doing demonstrations of items (e.g., prams). Have had good experiences both purchasing in store, and online for click and collect.

Best Variety of Items – I was initially drawn to the cute items when purchasing a gift but now as an expecting mum, I am even more impressed by the large range of items. I also love that they have a registry option. By far one of the best baby stores that I have come across! I will be sure to be purchasing many items for the little one in the next coming weeks / months.

My local baby store – Metro Baby are the perfect shop for gifts and everything you could need setting up your nursery or preparing to have a baby. Their staff are always lovely and helpful. I highly recommend checking out their store for all your baby needs!
