This has to be the best portable sound machine I own (and I have bought a few). I am able to use it throughout the house as it’s so portable along with in the car and on walks in the pram. The white noise is the perfect white noise sound that just sooth and puts my little one to sleep. Love this item and would recommend it to anyone who what’s a small portable white noise machines. Honestly didn’t think I’d care this much about a sleep machine until having a baby, but the Nodiee has genuinely become part of our daily routine. white noise. We’ve got 3 dogs that can be pretty loud during the day, (god forbid someone walks past the house) but the Nodiee helps drown out the barking so well, I honestly cannot hear a thing when putting bubs down for her day sleeps.
The small portable one has been amazing too. We’ve been taking it everywhere, pram walks, car trips, visiting family etc and it’s seriously saved us a few times while out and about.
Definitely one of those things I thought was overrated before becoming a mum… and now I use it every single day.
If you’re on the fence about getting a Nodiee white noise machine — just do it. We have both the portable and the full-size one, plus the temperature gauge, and honestly… game changers. The portable one lives in our pram and car — it’s saved so many naps on the go. The bigger one stays in the nursery and blocks out background noise so well, which I swear is what’s helped him stay asleep longer.
And the temperature gauge just takes away that constant “is the room okay?” stress.
We use these every single day and I genuinely couldn’t imagine our routine without them now.
10/10 — worth every cent.

My Nodiee Sleep Assist On-The-Go stopped working almost exactly at the one-year mark. The lights, timer and controls still work perfectly, but the sound started crackling, would cut out after a few seconds, and eventually stopped completely. issue. Instead of focusing on the fault, they asked me to show the charger and cable I was using. After sending photos, I was told I was using an “unauthorised” cable and that this may have caused the issue.
I understand they have guidelines, but I was using high-quality cables (e.g. Anker) — not cheap or unsafe ones. It’s hard to accept that this would cause a total sound failure, especially when the rest of the device still works.
Just a warning to others: if you plan on using your own cables or even lose the original one, be aware this may be used against you in a warranty claim. That’s a big downside for a portable product that’s meant to be used on the go.
What makes this worse is that I also own the Nodiee Pro, which works perfectly fine using the exact same cables.
Overall, it feels like they are quick to deflect responsibility rather than stand behind their product. Under Australian consumer expectations, a product like this should last longer than just over a year.
Very disappointing experience — wouldn’t recommend.
EDIT: They have proposed sending a new cable with shipping costs borne by me @$8.95. I said I am happy to pay if they confirm in writing that if the problem still persists, they will refund the costs to me. They just came back to me and said no they won’t refund the shipping costs and if it still doesn’t work they said it’s the cable which damages the product so they’ll probably void the warranty anyways.
I purchased the Nodiee Smart Light in Nov 2023 and by July 2025 it completely failed to work when unplugged. Considering the product is marketed for its portability, this is unacceptable. After emailing back-and-forth with their support team, they finally admitted it was faulty but refused to replace or repair it, hiding behind an expired warranty… Read more

A product like this should last years, not months. Other customers have had theirs for much longer, so clearly this is a quality issue. As an Australian company, Nodiee should respect Australian Consumer Law, which protects buyers against major faults regardless of a short warranty period. Instead, they chose to dismiss my claim and provide poor customer service.
This was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve had with an Australian business. I would not recommend Nodiee to anyone — both the product and the after-sales support are disappointing and unreliable.

I actually put this product on my registry but unfortunately ended up with a no name brand from amazon. So i sold that one and instantly brought the real version. I love all the features, the right light is a must have, it even calms me and i loved the special offer they had with the in room thermometer. No more guessing what to put on. Despite all of this, the device still could not be found or reconnect.
What has been most frustrating is the warranty process itself. Each time we ruled out one suggested cause, a completely new explanation was introduced rather than progressing the warranty claim. Even after providing screenshots confirming the troubleshooting steps had been completed correctly, we continued receiving repetitive responses and further troubleshooting requests.
I understand basic troubleshooting is part of support, but this went far beyond reasonable. I have never experienced a company require this level of repeated troubleshooting for a product that is clearly not functioning as expected.
Very disappointed both in the reliability of the product and the handling of the warranty process. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this product if you are looking for something reliable and long-lasting, or a company that stands behind its products when issues arise.

Regret buying the Nodiee sound machine. Customer service was useless and offered no real help, incorrectly deflecting the responsibility to Alexa. The Alexa integration is terrible — you can’t control the light and sound independently, which completely defeats the purpose of it being “smart.” For the price, it’s frustrating, poorly designed, and not worth it. Save your money and buy the hatch.

Extremely disappointing customer service experience. An order from Nodiee was marked as delivered to my apartment building in December, however the parcel was never actually received. the company in February to report the missing parcel. Instead of assisting, customer service repeatedly directed me to Australia Post and refused to resolve the issue.
Much of the time between delivery and my enquiry was spent in hospital giving birth and recovering from a complex birth and surgery, which made it difficult to deal with deliveries immediately.
Despite explaining the situation and referencing Australian Consumer Law, the company has refused to assist or provide a refund.
This has been a very frustrating experience, particularly while caring for a newborn, and I hope the company reconsiders how it handles situations where customers never actually receive their orders.

I bought my newborn the same one, and it has helped getting him into a routine. As soon as I turn the sound machine on he knows it's nap time/bed time.

This is fabulous and life changing for my 9 year old with adhd. We used to have tv on for her to go to sleep but not anymore with in 30 minutes she is asleep, with the noddie. No trouble getting up with the sunrise alarm, the gentle wake up is fantastic. The choices of sounds and colour are great. through six-hour stretches and not even my husband's snoring wakes him up. We also recently took it with us on a family weekend away, and even with three noisy cousins under five, our baby boy slept soundly with this as a sound barrier. He loves waking up to the birds chirping and we put the crickets sound on in the evening while he's getting ready for the bath so he's instantly aware that bedtime is near. A lifesaver! An absolute must have for our family! After having twins and trying to keep a loud toddler quiet, the Nodiee has literally saved us.
