Super Expensive for what it is. The battery dies quickly and if the charge runs low it flashes a super bright ‘Lo’ message on the screen. The app is poorly designed and it’s easy to accidentally press some thing else on the screen then suddenly the light colour changes or frogs start blasting out the speaker. version is probably better than this one. The small portable manual nodiee is much better and we primarily use this one and the big one is just a glorified night light with a crappy battery.

A lovely sleep Not only have I been getting to sleep well with the rain sounds, waking up to sunlight and bird sounds has been so delightful. Honestly didn’t think I’d care this much about a sleep machine until having a baby, but the Nodiee has genuinely become part of our daily routine. white noise. We’ve got 3 dogs that can be pretty loud during the day, (god forbid someone walks past the house) but the Nodiee helps drown out the barking so well, I honestly cannot hear a thing when putting bubs down for her day sleeps.
The small portable one has been amazing too. We’ve been taking it everywhere, pram walks, car trips, visiting family etc and it’s seriously saved us a few times while out and about.
Definitely one of those things I thought was overrated before becoming a mum… and now I use it every single day.
If you’re on the fence about getting a Nodiee white noise machine — just do it. We have both the portable and the full-size one, plus the temperature gauge, and honestly… game changers. The portable one lives in our pram and car — it’s saved so many naps on the go. The bigger one stays in the nursery and blocks out background noise so well, which I swear is what’s helped him stay asleep longer.
And the temperature gauge just takes away that constant “is the room okay?” stress.
We use these every single day and I genuinely couldn’t imagine our routine without them now.
10/10 — worth every cent.
Great product ive used it daily for over 2 years, my son enjoys it. Helps with sleep. We love the brown noise and red light. We even pack it when we go away on trips. Its compact and lightweight. Perfect for bedtime.

My Nodiee Sleep Assist On-The-Go stopped working almost exactly at the one-year mark. The lights, timer and controls still work perfectly, but the sound started crackling, would cut out after a few seconds, and eventually stopped completely. issue. Instead of focusing on the fault, they asked me to show the charger and cable I was using. After sending photos, I was told I was using an “unauthorised” cable and that this may have caused the issue.
I understand they have guidelines, but I was using high-quality cables (e.g. Anker) — not cheap or unsafe ones. It’s hard to accept that this would cause a total sound failure, especially when the rest of the device still works.
Just a warning to others: if you plan on using your own cables or even lose the original one, be aware this may be used against you in a warranty claim. That’s a big downside for a portable product that’s meant to be used on the go.
What makes this worse is that I also own the Nodiee Pro, which works perfectly fine using the exact same cables.
Overall, it feels like they are quick to deflect responsibility rather than stand behind their product. Under Australian consumer expectations, a product like this should last longer than just over a year.
Very disappointing experience — wouldn’t recommend.
EDIT: They have proposed sending a new cable with shipping costs borne by me @$8.95. I said I am happy to pay if they confirm in writing that if the problem still persists, they will refund the costs to me. They just came back to me and said no they won’t refund the shipping costs and if it still doesn’t work they said it’s the cable which damages the product so they’ll probably void the warranty anyways.

Despite all of this, the device still could not be found or reconnect.
What has been most frustrating is the warranty process itself. Each time we ruled out one suggested cause, a completely new explanation was introduced rather than progressing the warranty claim. Even after providing screenshots confirming the troubleshooting steps had been completed correctly, we continued receiving repetitive responses and further troubleshooting requests.
I understand basic troubleshooting is part of support, but this went far beyond reasonable. I have never experienced a company require this level of repeated troubleshooting for a product that is clearly not functioning as expected.
Very disappointed both in the reliability of the product and the handling of the warranty process. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend avoiding this product if you are looking for something reliable and long-lasting, or a company that stands behind its products when issues arise.

Regret buying the Nodiee sound machine. Customer service was useless and offered no real help, incorrectly deflecting the responsibility to Alexa. The Alexa integration is terrible — you can’t control the light and sound independently, which completely defeats the purpose of it being “smart.” For the price, it’s frustrating, poorly designed, and not worth it. Save your money and buy the hatch.

Extremely disappointing customer service experience. An order from Nodiee was marked as delivered to my apartment building in December, however the parcel was never actually received. I checked the mailbox area, confirmed with my building manager, and asked neighbours in case it had been taken by mistake, but it was never located. I contacted… Read more
the company in February to report the missing parcel. Instead of assisting, customer service repeatedly directed me to Australia Post and refused to resolve the issue.
Much of the time between delivery and my enquiry was spent in hospital giving birth and recovering from a complex birth and surgery, which made it difficult to deal with deliveries immediately.
Despite explaining the situation and referencing Australian Consumer Law, the company has refused to assist or provide a refund.
This has been a very frustrating experience, particularly while caring for a newborn, and I hope the company reconsiders how it handles situations where customers never actually receive their orders.

So easy to use m. We use it every single night for my child's sleep and I love that's it there are so many different sounds you can choose from. I also love the different light colors and you can change the brightness. It's so adaptable. We will be using the sleep trainer options as my child gets older too. Our Noodie has been a great help. Our small travel noodie provided comfort and light while in the hospital. This set my baby up for good sleep from the start. Our Noodie pro continues to support from our bedside. I like that it has an app.
Great quality product. Has helped my daughter link her sleep cycles and creates a strong “it’s time for sleep” environment. The portable white noise is next a must for travelling or the pram. Also great for the grandies, despite their generation of “what’s this white noise crap? We didn’t have any of that in our day!” when they’re tasked with some babysitting!
