Prompt and Reliable – Mother and baby possum were nesting in my roof and had entered a middle bedroom through the manhole. encourage the possum into the bedroom and relocate it outside. Thanks to Matt and his availability when ever I rang his mobile, he would always ring back promptly with helpful guidance and re-assurance that the possum would be alright. I definitely would recommend them.

I had a rat enter my house by a door that was accidentally left open. The rat made my life hell for weeks since the poison I bought to kill it didn't do its job. I was at my wits end when I called Peter the Possum and Bird Man service. Knowing how distraught I was, the wonderful Shaun came out that morning and baited the property properly. It was worth every cent of the $330. I am truly grateful to Shaun, my hero!!

Bad dead animal smell at home for days - disappeared the minute the Possum Man got here. We figured it was probably the neighbours who discovered it and removed it. For the total 5 minute call out we were charged $220. They were recommended by our Home Assist providers. And yes they warned me of the fee, but seriously cannot recommend under those… Read more

Excellent service – Excellent service. Professional, well priced and surpassed our expectations. We had old insulation removed and new bats put in.
Follow-up · Unfortunately they left roof tiles off in three seperate areas. We didn’t find out until weeks later when it rained heavily and leaked into the house. We were given a very meagre compensation of &250. Further down the track realising this was not enough.
Put unprotected baits in my ceiling instead of a bait station, also expensive – I thought I had possums in the ceiling, so contacted this business. They told me it could be rats but I was so sure it was possums I didn't ask them in advance how much they charge for rats. I saw part of what was done, and it was very simple. Then they showed me a bait station and put it in the ceiling just next to the manhole (no need to climb in again). I asked them to put one in the garage ceiling as well since it also had a manhole, and I took the car out to give them access and didn't watch what was done.
They were at the house in total about half an hour, and charged $242. I thought that was a bit excessive given how little was involved, but I took responsibility for not having checked the price in advance, and didn't post a negative review at that time.
The service worked, and I saw a dead rat, but a couple of months later there was more activity in the ceiling.
This time I purchased rat bait and some more bait stations on line. I could get 3 bait stations and 2.4Kg of all weather blocks for $146. That amount of bait should last me for years.
When I went to replenish the bait stations, the one in the house was as I had seen, though they hadn't left the key in it, which was inconvenient. In the garage ceiling, however, instead of a bait station I found an exposed loop of wire with baits strung on it.
This is not OK, as there was nothing to restrict access to the baits, and if any possums got in that ceiling they could have been poisoned. Also I had been shown a bait station, and had asked them to do the same in the garage. I was not told it would be anything different.

Cleaning of gutters was done promptly and thoroughly. They have also done a good job concerning bush turkeys. The office staff are very helpful and the people turn up on time to do the work. They are polite and competent. I have used this company several times over a period of years and intend to continue to do so. Their wide range of services is an appealing feature of their business. . I have needed “ Peter’s” help a few times now , most recently with a new arrival on my block. Their service was excellent, great information for me to follow ahead of the cage being put out… and within a couple of hours it was time for them to come and collect which that did very promptly. We have had three different scrub turkeys captured this year. The service has been prompt and humane. Would love a discount as frequent users. However, this service saved our garden. Show reply
We had pest treatment done, as well as removal of old insulation, roof vacuum, new insulation installed and a solar roof vent installed. Shane and his team were polite, efficient, tidy and super friendly. Big job completed in one day. Would recommend and use again. Show reply

their entry points, and even gave me some ripper advice on keeping them from coming back. Fair price for the work, no hidden costs or trying to upsell me on stuff I didn't need. Bloke clearly knows his wildlife and genuinely cares about doing right by the animals. If you've got unwanted critters making themselves at home, give Pete a call. where addressed promptly. The cleanup of the area was exceptional. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of time taken and products supplied. Our house is so much cooler since the installation of the fan and new insulation that I am glad I went ahead with the project. Also had a few nasty dead rodents removed in the process which was a bonus and now our ceiling cavity is so much cleaner. Would recommend all services provided by Peter the Possum man and his team.
Fast resolution of rodent and bird problems – Very responsive and identified the bird and rodent issues we were having. Put the rodent solution into place the same day then returned to bird proof the solar unit. We still had Indian Mynor problems and Matt came back and identified they were actually trying to nest in the downpipe which is almost unheard of. Problems now all solved and very happy. Show reply
