Extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience with Rolan Australia. I purchased a brand-new Tremec TKX 5-speed gearbox from Rolan Australia for almost $6,000. Rolan Australia immediately and provided video evidence and all technical information they requested. I also went through the considerable inconvenience and expense of having the gearbox removed so the required measurements and testing could be completed. All requested information was provided to Tremec USA in August.
Despite fully cooperating with their warranty process and repeatedly asking Rolan to resolve the issue, I have now spent almost three months going back and forth with them without receiving a replacement gearbox, refund or satisfactory resolution.
Initially, Rolan were helpful and apologetic, but the responsibility has progressively been pushed onto the manufacturer in the USA. I have repeatedly explained that I purchased the gearbox from Rolan Australia and expect them, as the seller, to resolve the problem. I even contacted Tremec directly, but received no response.
What has been particularly frustrating is the lack of progress and communication, despite me doing everything requested. Rolan's own eBay listing shows they have another gearbox in stock, yet I am still left with a faulty transmission, my car off the road and no resolution. i am now forced to pursue this through NSW Fair Trading.
Very disappointing experience. I expected much better customer service and support from a business selling expensive performance automotive products. I would not recommend Rolan Australia based on how this warranty issue has been handled.

Custom use of T20 Socket in a 53 Land Rover – Parts arrived on time, exactly as advertised. Used for a custom job on a 1953 Land Rover, to add LED lights to the Brake/Tail, as the original globe contacts were corroded, so needed to be replaced. Owrked a treat.

right K&N air filter for my Forester. So with a little trepidation I unboxed the new filter, pulled out the stock filter and they were a match in size.
So unlike with my 2022 WRX its stock air filter was a bugger to get out and fit the new K&N; the Forester’s was a five minute job taking 10 minutes with these photos. Too easy, no warning lights on the dash and the sticker is now on the air filter cover. Now I only have to register the new filter online. inspecting it they claimed it was damaged, when you send items back through eBay. EBay will ask for a photo of the said item which I sent to ebay as part of process, fortunately I took the photo. When I contacted rolan they mentioned the damage done to the shock, so I said could you email me the photos, they refused to send them, I asked to speak to the person who I placed this order with he was NOT AVAILABLE. So now have listed my complaint with eBay and eBay will contact in 5 days. I am glad eBay asked for a photo prior to me sending it back, I find this company has deceptive and deceiving practices, and drop shipping most definitely.

about $400-$500 worth. It was my mistake, but some of the AN fittings I ordered were for PTFE hose which is not the hose I ordered in the same order. My engine was out of the car being rebuilt, so I didn’t realise within the 30 day return policy, fair enough. I then ordered the correct fittings I needed and emailed ROLAN asking if they’d consider a return outside the normal 30 days for the initial order. Initially I was asked to provide pictures of the products which are still new in their packaging. After doing this I just never received another email. I politely sent two more follow up emails, but still have nothing back in 6 weeks.
Yes it’s been over the busy Christmas period, but I’m pretty disappointed with the lack of even a response, I wouldn’t think they’ve been closed for 6 weeks. I’m asking for something outside their policy, but to just be ignored is poor service in my book. Plenty of other stockists sell Aeroflow for my future needs.

responded, they pointed me to their long handling times and that it's been transferred from their offsite warehouse. Well, their 'offsite warehouse' is the supplier's warehouse. Why else wouldn't they respond to my message for 5 days? If they have multiple warehouses, are they 5 days shipping time apart? Why not ship from the other warehouse? They claim to hold the stock, but it's clear they don't. This disadvantages honest businesses that do hold stock. This is one step worse than drop shipping as it takes even longer. I got the part on the 8th day. In Summary, part turned up 8 days later despite being 'in stock' and express post. Not happy Rolan.
The ordering process was super easy, used their car garage feature to ensure I got the correct cabin air filter. Part arrives and it doesn't fit. Asked customer service for a refund and eventually received it but ended up paying shipping both ways for a refund while they "guarantee" right fit!

poorly handled. The product was suddenly marked “out of stock,” and a 10% discount code was offered — but it didn’t work. I tried contacting them four times — three via email and once via their website — with no response at first.
Eventually, they replied with a 15% discount, but by that point I had already been forced to buy the item elsewhere due to urgency. To make things more confusing, the same product was soon relisted at full price on both their website and eBay, contradicting the earlier “out of stock” excuse.
I even filed a complaint with NSW Fair Trading, but since I had been refunded and offered a discount, they didn’t pursue it further — which is frustrating, because it still felt like selective order cancellation rather than a genuine error.
I’m not writing this review to demand the original price be honoured — just to share my experience and how disappointed I was with the way it was handled. I hope Rolan Australia improves their transparency, communication, and customer service in the future.
