was entirely my fault, not setting it up right, I found it to be excellent and did everything I wanted from a GPS unit. The after sales service from Solid GPS and the team is excellent also. I have travelled extensively the past 4 years, SA, NSW, VIC, Qld, NT and the tracker has operated flawlessly, tracking my every movement. Another feature I like, is it also records my speed which my be useful at times. Recently I purchased a new tracker which has new features and as always, it operates flawlessly. The are basically a set and forget unit and as I said, they not only offer security but peace of mind. If by chance my vehicle was stolen, I am confident of locating it.

straightforward. It really is a "set and forget" type of device. While we are reasonably tech-savvy, we found the interface and the app very easy to navigate. The physical installation was a breeze too—no complicated wiring or professional help needed.

Battery Life We opted for the medium-sized tracker, which is rated to last 6 months on a single charge. So far, the battery performance has been outstanding. It’s a huge relief not having to worry about constant recharging or hardwiring it into the house batteries.

Customer Support We did have a small hiccup during the initial activation process, but the after-sales support was fantastic. They responded very quickly and had the issue sorted out in no time. It’s always reassuring to know there are real people behind the product who actually help when you need them.

Value & Connectivity The ongoing subscription costs are very reasonable, especially when you consider the technology involved. One of the best features is that the tracker can connect to multiple mobile carriers at once. Living in New Zealand and travelling in an RV, you know that signal can be hit-and-miss. Having the tracker automatically switch to whichever carrier has the best signal in the area gives us much more confidence that we can always track our vehicle.

Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-use GPS tracker for your caravan or motorhome, I can’t recommend SolidGPS enough. It’s well worth the investment for the peace of mind!

comfortable with the product that I ordered a one for my second car. The integration of the second vehicle was seamless. The most important thing about this company though, is the service you receive from the team. Every time something has been unclear or if I have had issues with the tracker, it has taken one email to the team and a response within a day from them. Sometimes it has taken a few emails to figure out what the problem was, but it has been resolved every time. Everything was working great for 2 weeks while I tested it. Then the day I drive to Newcastle and dropped it at a mechanic (the reason I purchased it - to monitor where it goes), it stopped working. response was to "Turn the tracker off for 10 minutes and turn it back on, Place it inside your vehicle, Monitor it after a trip". Anyone who wants to steal it will hopefully let me know a few days before they steal it so I can follow the three steps.

Absolute rubbish. Doesn't give live updates. Goes days with it showing it is not where it should be. Had to charge it 3 weeks after it was already charge. No support from Solid GPS. Will never buy again. Recommend avoiding this and just getting Apple GPS trackers

Purchased 2 with the yearly subscription, to find that the subscription does not include the 4g notifications, which are an additional $39 a year, plus the up front cost. The app is not very good, and took about 10mins for emergency tracking to commence. Hope they can improve the app!

I have found the tracker is not keeping up with my location while travelling around Australia, especially when not in a town. I have twice reached out to support in the last month, but have never received a reply.

Found these guys on Google & the simplicity got my attention. 5 years in & simply does what it says on the box giving me total peace of mind on caravan location with simple steps if the worst happens & it's not where I left it. This is a great product that is completely independent of the item that you wish to track. I didn't want to modify our car to suit the tracker, I just wanted one to hide and only pull it out to charge. This product delivers in the fact of its long battery life and a great app to monitor it from and incredible accuracy with its location. I do recommend. Show reply

I have used Solid GPS for years in my caravans and it has given me a real piece of mind knowing that if ever it was stolen I could get it back because insurance does not necessarily pay out enough to replace the van like for like. planning servicing on a caravan. I recently purchased another Solid GPS and again it works perfectly. I looked at a number of options to Solid GPS but they were not up to what I required. I thoroughly recommend Solid GPS to anyone who wants to keep track of their car, caravan or motorcycle, anything for that matter. Any questions are quickly answered online which is a bonus and great service. 10/10.

boundaries I set in the app. The sms and email notifications are great and advise when the car leaves the area and when it returns. The GPS also plots the route the car is travelling in case it needs to be tracked.

This Solid GPS is the best tracker I have used. It is so easy to use and is 100% accurate. I set a boundary around my home, a second boundary around my work place. You can also set the unit to alert via your cellphone. Battery life is great and is simply a C USB connection for recharging. A annual subscription is not expensive and the GPS unit is by far the best insurance for finding the vehicle
