Would not reccomend this service at all! Initially very polite and efficient. Phoned office at around 10:30 AM and receied phone call from technician within 5 minutes stating would arrive between 12-2 PM. hour. Waited another 1.5 hrs and still no show from technician nor communication. Technician finally came after 4 PM and quoted almost 1K for x6 locks to be installed and keyed, later agreed to be priced to $650 with x3 keys for the whole house. When asked how long this would take, said it would be 3 hours to complete and can't finish the job on the same day and said will only do fly screens of the house. Charged $372 for only 3 fly screens and then left in a hurry saying they would return the following day between 12-1 PM. Next day comes and yet again no show or communication from the technician. Tried calling the office to which they said they would call the technician. Another whole hour and still no show, called office again who then tell me that they can't get in contact with the technitian, they were able to guide me through putting in a formal complaint. End of day no show from the technician, a message at 7 PM saying they hurt their hand and will discuss options on Monday. Customer service team also not helpful, closed my request because "it has been resolved" which I' assuming is because the technician sent me a message. Also noted that the technician didn't even install my fly screen properly and the outside frame seems damaged too.

predatory practices, will not quote before coming, also said they cant pick the lock told me i needed new locks, ive had the same door/picked multiple times before, so the guy left, i didnt pay call out fee to incompetant guy

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY. They are disgraceful, obscenely expensive and won't give you any cost guide in advance. It's effectively a call centre with contractors that charges 4x market rates and take no responsibility for the work.

Locked myself out of my apartment, lock smith was a legend , arrived within 20 minutes and although couldn’t gain access due to safety protocol, went above and beyond to help me by driving me to collect spares from real estate agent. He listened to my needs as a homeowner and was not bothered when I chose to watch his work. As a homeowner I like to know what is happening to my belongings. He listened to my concerns about lost/stolen keys and security issues. In this time of the world this is a blessing. He attended kindly and with respect to a woman who was locked out of her home and explained to me why it was a priority. He respected my privacy. I have absolutely no complaints. Which is saying something!

aggressive and abusive when I said I couldn’t afford it. Asked for $300-$400 cash to do the job. Again aggressive and abusive when I said no as I don’t carry cash. Demanded $150 for call out. I refused. Paid the $29 as stated online. Very scary and concerning experience. He only left when I said I was going to call the police.

asked for a tough ETA and he laughed and said “i am on my way, don’t worry about it”. He wdid not sound like he was in a car as I could hear people in the background. I waited another 10 minutes and he still did not arrive, so I called the swift lock number back again and was told they would contact him and get him to call me. The locksmith then called me again and said he apologises for the delay and blamed traffic. It was a Saturday. There was no traffic. He also sounded like he was in a car this time. He told me he was 20 minutes away. After half an hour or so he finally arrived at my house. He checked the lock and stayed that because it was a “5 pin lock” and not a “normal lock” that it would cost me $399 instead of $99, plus a $299 weekend fee, but he wouldn’t charge me the EMERGENCY FEE on top of that because he took such a long time to get here. My dad was there with me and asked me if I got a quote. The locksmith then told me that he wasn’t allowed to gove quotes over the phone. I accepted the price, despite being incredibly furious about it, as I had already wasted half my afternoon waiting for this guy to show up, and he got the door unlocked, and as I was going to pay, he slapped the extra GST charge on top of the already exhorbitant total cost. It took him less than 1 minute to unlock the door.. and I paid almost $800 for this. I probably could have broken a window to get in a paid less money to repair the window. This customer service was disgusting. Not only was a laughed at, and made to wait a st^pid amount of time, but to then charge such an unjustified amount of money. Disgusting. You guys should be ashamed of yourselves. i am a single parent that was just trying to move into my new property and life is already expensive enough as it is.

We engaged Swiftlock to repair a front door lock and were charged over $300 for labour alone. could get a 10% discount and the job would be $399 + GST! I said I was not paying that. He asked what I would like to pay. I suggested $150 all in, and when he realised this was cash - he did the job in 5 minutes. He also did offer to replace the door handle, but I didn't think I could afford whatever he was supplying - so off to Bunnings I guess. Service was fast and he did the job - I think the prices are a rip off, and some poor person will be sucked in !

Very appreciative of Ryan helping us with a difficult, damaged door lock so late in the day/ night. Got the job done efficiently and was pleasant to deal with. Would definitely use his services again.
