We were very happy with the service provided by Wilco. All the plumbers we encountered were friendly, gave clear explanations of the work undertaken, and made an effort to clean up after the work was completed.

The guys from Wilco were great. Jordan was all over the job. Being a sewerage issue, things got pretty messy, so he treated it with urgency. He handled everything professionally and was very easy to talk too. There was constant communication between myself and everyone else involved. It was a reasonably big job but they had it all done in less than 3 days, and left the place neat and tidy. Big thanks to Luke and Dom also.

Great job done clearing and relining my blocked toilet sewer pipe in a difficult situation. After a solution to the issue had been formulated, it was well explained and all costs advised upfront.

We have been have issues with the toilet blocking for over 2 years now with multiple plumbers visiting the house due to being a rental property . After 20 years of electric eels and jetta clearings with random plumbers, i responded to Wilco advertising on Instagram. The team really were professional from Telephone support to quotation to install and clean up. Not cheap at all $$$$ but investment in peace of mind and property management. I can’t recommend them enough! Wish i had called them years ago.

DAY 2 - blockage still exits, job will need to be looked at again. Thought job was done and dusted. Brayden was prompt, efficient, good communication. Today is Saturday not sure if anyone will come to reassess... waiting. Brayden came out on a Saturday to put temporary fix and will have to return. system could be the issue, so after waiting another week to have that checked by the Plumber who installed all, it was found to be working correctly. 3rd times a charm - well not exactly. There appears to be another blockage somewhere, but the where is the issue. As storm water pipes are not on any plan we may have to dig up another part of our driveway to find the issue, so we are going to leave it there.

I worked with them, solving the relining of swage and storm water pipes from the time the house was built in 1930. The company has highly skilled individuals who work as a team and can scale the team accordingly, depending on the challenges and the type of work required for the day. They come with costly machinery, so there is a factor of cost… Read more

effectiveness in all they do. This was one of the most significant upgrades to my house that, unfortunately, is not noticeable at the surface level; they are just pipes, but I can say I have peace of mind now. Since this is not a cheap thing to do, there is careful treatment with clients to demonstrate the damage through videos and pictures, as well as the work done to renew them through relining after completing the job.

Master Plumber "Chuck" (full first name doubtless Mr. Charles), a young man, has learned his trade, taught recently at Granville TAFE, well. He quoted the job expertly, went shopping for an item on my behalf, worked efficiently and tidily, and… Read more

cleaned up perfectly. He kept me fully informed about progress. His personal appearance and friendliness were welcome aspects of the transaction. At the end of the work he spent some minutes explaining what he had done, and how to adjust the water level mechanism. The replacement item was thoroughly tested by Chuck. I am confident in Chuck's excellent work. Chuck: I wish you well in your trade. But use leather strapped pads to protect your poor knees. A pleasure to meet you! -- [Content Removed]

Follow-up  · Thank you for the chance to add to my first assessment and review. The young tradesman Chuck is a credit to his TAFE teachers and to the tradesmen who were a part of his training. I judge him to be a competent self-made diligent man when "on the tools", as I experienced and witnessed and had the benefit of.

Quick and responsive service, work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. The plumbing issue was resolved with no needd for a call back. Plumber arrived on time andd called ahead as promised. The transaction was easy with multiple payment methods available. Very satisfied.

Follow-up  · My plumbing issue was a leaking connection to my water meter - it was not a messy job, but the site was clean and tidy afterwards. As far as pricing is concerned, it was what I imaginedd it would be, so there wasn't a surprise.

Wilco delivered a complex drain renovation on a 50+ year-old drainage system. The project included about 15m of relining with several joints, excavation in two areas with 7–8m of pipe replacement with 5 joints, and the installation of new cold-water pipes in bathroom perimeter. Four different Wilco teams were involved, all demonstrating very high… Read more

professionalism and expertise. The entire project took a few weeks, and all schedules were aligned with my availability, which was very convenient. Wilco used sophisticated machinery for the relining alongside high-quality manual work. While their rates are high, they delivered excellent quality. The final costs were higher than expected and originally quoted, but this was due to very complex pipe joints discovered during excavation and the unexpected need to replace the old cold-water pipes. Importantly, Wilco provides a substantial warranty on their work. Conclusion: If you need high-quality work delivered by experienced professionals with a warranty and aligned to your own schedules and availability, be ready for premium rates. Also, if you start a complex project in a very old house, be prepared for unforeseen discoveries that may affect your final bill.

On the scheduled day, the water proofing expert arrived and did a wonderful job of water proofing the entire shower area. It was a hard job with at least 6 hours of work, which he patiently did. Once done, he again explained all details and confirmed that the water proofing has 10 year warranty and we can reach out to Wilco Plumbing for any issues.

Overall, the experience for start to finish with Wilcom Plumbing has been favourable and highly recommend their service.

After putting off calling a plumber for way too long I received a magnet in the mail. I rang the number and had a technician attend my home the next morning. there was an awful clunking sound every couple of minutes. Braydons advice was to start with the obvious and go from there. After inspecting my water pump he moved on to my tapware which was 35 years old, he checked the washers and showed me how worn and withered everything was. He suggested that I replace my tapware. He actually had the same style as I have in his van. I was very impressed. He changed as much as possible with the products that he had with him (this was Friday). He came back on Monday with Elliot another lovely knowledgeable young man. Between the two they have replaced all of my old and worn tapware and my awful problem of continually clunking pipes has stopped. I would highly recommend these 2 personable young plumbers. They have saved my sanity! Thank you boys and Wilco Home Services. Job well done!

In short, Wilco Home Services were quick to respond and generally acted in a professional manner. They seemed very knowledgeable and were able to solve the problem that we had in a timely manner. Generally the work carried out seemed to be good and… Read more

the staff, from office to site, were courteous and professional. So why only a 3 star rating? Firstly, I think that the work was done somewhat hurriedly, particularly when we had not asked this to happen, but mostly because, what we were being quoted firstly and then requoted because of the additional work involved, had no way of being verified by another company in the short timeframe that everything was happening and this is where my wife and I felt somewhat compromised. Yes, we were now looking at a job costing over two and a half times the original amount! To this day we don’t really know if we were taken for a ride, or indeed, the amount paid nears the mark in this day and age. That said, after some rain on the Easter weekend, the problem seems to have been fixed!

Please read the full story below, if you wish:

After receiving a fridge magnet in our letterbox and using this form of advertising to contact Wilco Plumbers and look at a problem that we were having with an overflowing downpipe, the company were quick to respond in sending out an investigative plumber, [Name Removed], who acted in a very professional manner and looked at our problem over a couple of hours, with pipe cameras and high pressure hoses, until he found a couple of potential solutions, which were then presented to us and quoted. We accepted the higher cost solution, even though it seemed expensive, as we were told it was the better long term option.

Within 48hrs, further investigation was commenced over several hours by two other workers from the company(sorry, I can’t remember their names), but unfortunately, what was originally quoted we were told, would no longer solve the problem. We were then presented with a new solution, but at a huge increase in cost! At this point I wanted to receive at least one other quote from another company, but it seemed as though the process had already gone too far(and we were told that we would need to pay for the investigative work already carried out that morning)and that we should continue using Wilco to complete the project! They explained the huge increase in cost was from the equipment that would need to be used to complete the work, as well as the increase in cost of materials in recent months etc.

My wife and I (rather stressfully I might add, with her only being contactable over the phone) accepted the new quote and work commenced that afternoon, with the guys removing turf from where the trench was to be dug - a trench laid with both plastic and galvanised pipe, that would now take a large part of our roof water, out into the street and no longer be contained to filter through and beneath the 100 year old concrete pit that was completely gummed up, with nowhere for the water to go, except back up to the down pipe. Problem solved!

The following day, a number of guys turned up with their equipment and everything was set up in a professional manner in order to create as little disturbance as possible to the surrounding area. An initial problem pumping out the existing sludge that was in the old soakwell was overcome, which set things back before they could insert a new plastic well. Unfortunately, at this stage, I had to go down to Sydney for the day and couldn’t see what was going on during the project. I was therefore most surprised to hear from the main worker, late in the afternoon whilst driving home, that the job had been completed!

On returning and observing, I felt that the work had been finished, maybe a little too quickly for my liking and noticed that the filled in and landscaped trench could have been finished in a better way, even though he commented that the fill in would settle in the next few weeks. After a follow up phone call from [Name Removed], they explained that fixing any landscaping details in the future, would be no problem. I also did notice afterwards, that our fence had been slightly damaged, as well as a pole supporting my weather station and the polystyrene sinkwell, also retained considerable cement workings from its insertion, which made me think that, yes, they definitely wanted to finish the job the day before Easter. I should note that the last three imperfections, I have not related to Wilco.

All in all, a costly experience in a very short time frame, but one that ultimately did fix the problem.

Follow-up  · The fence damage is slight but was probably caused by a bump from the large waste bin when it was being lowered near the fence. The landscaping has been attended by my local gardener and there has now been sufficient rain to lower the trench backfill to a suitable level. The weather station itself was not impacted but just the pipe that… Read more

Nathan was legend and in true Uncle BTP fashion used a 1 piece copper pipe and bent it to get the right angles so there was 1 single long copper pipe with no join from the high pressure outlet to the heater. Would have like to have seen his braising skills but he brought out his big guns and used the Press instead. Uncle BTP said it was still a good job

Great company to deal with. Right from the first contact with the office, through the initial inspection and quoting via Nathan, and then the completion of onsite work, via Terry, George, Nathan and Ethan, we were impressed with the professionalism, skilled workmanship and friendly service. Really appreciated the time everyone took to explain the relining process intricacies..

A leaking pipe led to a complete rebuilding of two bathrooms and refurbishment of drainage l;ines. This was achieved in about 3 weeks and a bit by continuous application to the job by all trades. The finish was excellent and a particular call out to tiler Jim.
