I contacted Youfoodz through its online chat and asked for the two meals to be replaced. The process took close to an hour. I was repeatedly sent through the same automated questions, asked to confirm that I was the account holder multiple times, transferred between the virtual assistant and agents, and left waiting for responses.

After I clearly stated that I wanted the meals replaced, Youfoodz instead applied a $20.58 credit to my account without first asking whether I accepted that resolution. I believe the credit can only be used on a future order and expires after one year. I then had to explain again that I had requested replacement meals, not store credit. I was finally told that Youfoodz only delivers once a week and could offer a credit or refund instead.

Sending meals that were already past their use-by dates was unacceptable. Having to spend nearly an hour navigating an unhelpful chat system, only to have my clearly stated request disregarded, made the experience considerably worse. A straightforward food-safety complaint should have been handled promptly and professionally.

Very fresh ingredients. Very tasty meals with fabulous sauces. Huge range to select from. Very clear selections, for example: calorie controlled, carb conscious, good protein, diabetic ready etc. Love YouFoodz. Show details ·  1

I love the healthy, quality juices.

Regularly recommend.

I buy the healthy balance range mostly, I don't like using a microwave, so I transfer into an oven proof dish.

I LOVE that the vegetables are never mushy/overcooked. They still have bite, but are never undercooked.

The texture is perfect for me.

The order page is misleading, the meals # shows your total order but once you checked out it’s lesser. You might think you saved but you didn’t.

Has been a customer for nearly a year. However, recent deliveries showing decline in quality such as a chicken rice with no chicken. Also packages come broken multiple times. I finally decided to end subscription this morning when the delivery came with 2 meals broken and their contents spilled everywhere in the box. got charged for subscription in 5 boxes. I quickly contacted the agents on youfoodz saying I was not impressed with being misled in a meal subscription and being charged. My order was being cancelled there and then and I was informed my account is deactivated and 7 days on, 8th April today , I got a shock from PayPal I got charged $66.93 for a 5 meal subscription recurring. This is misleading, do not order from this company and do not make an account or click on to any subscriptions! This was cancelled on the same day along with the account yet I still got charged 1 week on.

However, according to Youfoodz support, the change did not save in their system.

There were also no notifications to prevent this issue — no reminder to finalise meals, no delivery confirmation, no tracking, and no delivery notification. I only thought to check for this information after receiving a promotional email encouraging me to select next meals.

The only communication I received was promotional in nature. I did not receive any notification confirming my order, dispatch, or delivery. As a result, I only became aware of the delivery the following day, by which point the box had been sitting at the wrong address for over 24 hours and was no longer safe or usable.

At a minimum, it is the company’s responsibility to ensure customers are clearly notified of delivery timing and location so orders can be received and do not go to waste. Requiring customers to actively check an app for this information is not reasonable for a paid delivery service.

Customer support was slow and unhelpful. Responsibility was placed entirely on me despite clear gaps in system reliability and communication. I was only offered a $15 refund out of $140, with the remaining amount dismissed because it was paid via a gift card — despite this still being a purchased form of payment.

After further follow-up, I was told the matter would be reviewed, then offered an additional $10 voucher to be issued later. Communication then stalled, with repeated “busy” notifications and no meaningful resolution.

Overall, this experience reflects a lack of accountability and inadequate customer communication. I would not recommend.

doubt they’ll respond with their “sorry to hear that” auto message but this has happened for over a month now with zero compensation or any actual help from customer service. Will follow up by reporting to food safety services for knowingly packing unsafe food for delivery.

The youfoodz fueld shredded beef ravioli was disgusting, all the shredded beef could’ve flossed my teeth it was inedible and the ravioli is clearly the packet cr#p you get from Cole’s home brand beef ravioli. Exact same taste. Disgusting couldn’t even finish it.

Pumpkin lasagne- no pumpkin just a whole lot of chickpeas and lentils and no bechamel sauce. Very salty. Looks and tastes like vomit.

The dishes were small,high calorie and tended to have few vegetables. After a few weeks I started to get stomach cramps ,which i wondered if could be from the modified atmosphere ( nitrogen) forced under the plastic. Show details
