stopped using ice bricks, despite what their website says, because 'these can accelerate the thawing process' ?!?! Prawns were brown, rotting and utterly inedible. Customer service was patronising, claimed I had no evidence to prove the meat was semi thawed when delivered and insisted I would not be compensated despite me having to bin over $200 worth of meat as it was not fit for human consumption. When I pointed out (in my 3rd email), their website states "100% customer satisfaction guarantee", the company's response was 'Our 100% satisfaction guarantee means that genuine product and service concerns will be reviewed and addressed appropriately.' Apparently their idea of 'reviewing and appropriately addressing concerns' is to send a patronising email thanking the customer for bringing the issues to their attention.....but refusing to issue a refund. Not sure how many unhappy customers would be placated with the idea that their feedback has been reviewed, but when I'm left hundreds of dollars out of pocket for inedible meat delivery, the only appropriate method of addressing this to my satisfaction is through a refund. Appalling experience from start to finish.

I grew up on a sheep and beef farm in New Zealand and have struggled to find good quality meat while living in Perth, the butcher crowd meat is of exceptional quality and we absolutely love it!! Highly recommend.

shockingly low — sometimes just a few tiny shreds buried under sauce or carbs. Yet the label still claims 25–40g of protein, which is extremely misleading when the visible meat content is nowhere near what customers expect.

It feels like Youfoodz is inflating protein numbers using non‑meat sources (pasta, dairy, sauce, fillers) while marketing these meals as “high‑protein beef dishes.” The photos on the website show generous portions of beef, but what arrives is nothing like the advertised product.

If you’re choosing Youfoodz for high‑protein meals with real meat, the beef options simply don’t deliver. The representation of protein vs actual meat content is not transparent, and the customer experience doesn’t match the marketing.

The customer service team are hopeless rude and arrogant. When I complained to the “executive customer service excellence” rep she too narrowed it down by justifying their actions and just trying to help line! No wonder the team are the way they are! wasn’t. The delivery driver just couldn’t be bothered finding parking and deemed your property as “not accessible”. The delivery carrier will then SMS saying they’ll attempt redelivery tomorrow. FP will then (and rightly so) say that this is not correct and it cannot be ‘redelivered’. All in all, we’re trying to reduce waste and they’ll bin 7kg of meat products because the delivery service they’ve engaged is lazy. You can’t make this stuff up. Don’t waste your time. What a waste. (Oh also, up to 10 days for your refund).

eating home-cooked food rather than a typical meal-prep service. The flavours are beautiful, the portions are great, and nothing tastes processed or boring.

I originally ordered because I was trying keto, and even though I’ve decided not to continue with keto but I will definitely order from their non keto options soon.
