I bought my LR3 in 2022 and began having some issues in 2025, which I think is a pretty good run. My first issue was a simple replacement of the… Read more
pinch sensors, which I ordered through Cat Evolution. The wrong ones came and Mary was extremely helpful and sent me the proper ones and also called me to tell me I could clean the sensors with jif cream.
The second issue was the robot getting stuck as it believed there was a cat inside the globe. Once again, Mary assisted me exceptionally and gave me some options to try to fix it. Ultimately we identified that the bonnet circuit board had been damaged. Mary gave me a workaround while I wait for the new board to arrive in the mail. Technically I could keep this solution instead of replacing the board, and it was Cat Evolution that told me this, so they don't treat their customers as just another profit stream.
If I could give Cat Evolution 6 stars I would. This business is the most helpful and reliable business I've dealt with in years. Mary's assistance has saved me time and money. This may sound like them just doing their jobs, but when I compare it to other businesses, they go out of their way to help their customers, and it is very clear they actually care about their customers.
So I will sing Cat Evolution's praises to anyone who will listen, and you can be assured that if you purchase a Litter Robot through them and have issues down the track, they will help you whenever you need it for as long as it takes to fix any problem.

Love it! – My cat loves it too! Only need to swap crystals twice a month, odourless and easy to clean! Have used it with both reusable and disposable tray, disposable makes it easier to swap but both options are good. Show details

again. My purrpod was just over a year old and I was already having issues within six months with the base lifting several times and litter going everywhere but where it should actually be. Then the barrel started glitching and jolting whilst spinning... making an awful crunching sound when my cat wasn't in it. Huge potential injury for my cat. Reached out to customer service (bought the extended warranty which was a waste of money as nothing came about from fixing the device). The amount of videos and photos I'd send but to be told to send more was ridiculous. The customer service is appalling - useless back and forth emails (which took a while to get a response) with the issues never being resolved. Honestly, don't waste your time or money on this product.

have been hand-cut or poorly done, as it doesn't properly fit the scoop. Litter pours out of the scoop hole every time I use it (despite me holding the scoop in place) so it's still a fair amount of effort. Would love to see a refined version.

chewed my power cord. I messaged them and explained the situation they said use another power cord which I did then the litterbot didn't turn on again I again messaged them and they said buy our brand power cord and i did ($80!) and it still didnt turn on! After another back and forth they ended saying thats not there fault I have to buy a whole other base!!!! Last time i checked if YOUR machine isnt working that seems like a factory manufacturing fault to me! Wow incredibly shocked and disappointed that you can charge SO much yet offer so little help in return. I highly regret wasting so much money when a litter tray and scoop works just fine dont waste your time and money on this box of junk.
It's ok. Disappointing for price – $94 dollars for the mat and the litterbox, essentially a flexi rubber tub basket and the foam mat is trash, but perfect if you booked in a declawing. Delivery was fast free, or $25ish if you only want the tub. Show details

kitty tray lasts a very long time
I do recommend this item as I stated am impressed, however I do believe everyone should invest in a auto cleaning tray as its majorly more healthier for little furballs in everyway and this is the main reason why I bought it. If you have cats please do not allow any type of kitty litter tray not to be well circulated as this does cause respiratory issues (regardless if automatic or not, as urine does actually have long term impacts in not maintained and not ventilated trays. This is why I bought the Neakasa for my little furballs health
As having just a short time i cannot comment on long use, I am not affiliated with Neakasa and just a review on the product itself. It works, everytime my little fluffball does their business the Neakasa cleans the tray, relevals the kitty litter and makes it the cleanest possible experience for the kitty to have, am researching now types of kitty litter for better health. The sensors work well and prevents the kitty from being harmed, its quiet so there is literally no noises to speak off and the odour control is reasonable and realistically to be expected but its not overbearing I would state all trays regardless would have odour to some degree. Cleaning out the used portions is a bin with a plastic bag, can use the bags it comes with and buy more or find alternative bags which is good
There is an App and can have a profile for each cat, it weighs the cat and lets you know each time the litter tray is in use, its easy to use but one thing that is really helpful is that it will send you out notifications if there is an issue, such as the bin tray being full and needing to be emptied and this is really good thing to have, fair amount of space and having to empty it for the first time I could possibly gotten more in but thats a whim of individuals - possibly could re-use the plastic bags cause really the kitty litter one uses is self clumping so not really an issue
Yes tracking happens - this would happen with all kitty trays I do believe am going to make a tray soon to place this kitty tray in so that when the furball jumps out then all the tracking remains in the tray
It is very easy to set up - in fact the only assembly required is connecting the legs - i haven't done a deep clean yet but its easy to take apart and put back together
As I given 5 out of 5 stars for the Neakasa I do think its a worthwhile buy and - bought it from amazon when it was on sale for roughly 550 dollars - this is the first time owning a automatic kitty litter tray

this piece of junk from Catlink. No functionality without wireless connection. Basically is a $400 manual kitty litter box - Catlink should not be allowed to advertise / sell something so dodgey.
Amazing - wish we'd found this years ago! – This is a review for both the Oz-Pet sieve litter trays and the Oz-Pet wood cat litter. We are cat people, we love them. Some people are dog people… Read more
but not us - we have four cats ranging from 19 years to seven months. Being responsible cats owners, we don't let our cats roam, they have the house and access to the cat run which occupies the entire "narrow" side of the block between the house and boundary wall.
The run has a variety of surfaces including an area of sand which they can use as a toilet and which I clean weekly but we still need litter trays in the house.
Over the years we've used a variety of types of litter to find one which is good for reducing odour, does not tread far and is also economical. We recently saw a youtube video ("You're doing your cat litter wrong" - https://youtu.be/LhgynG941D8) which changed our lives - it really is worth watching.
Oz-Pet wood cat litter is made from waste wood, the wood is made into pellets which turn back into sawdust when they get wet. The Oz-Pet sieve litter tray is a set of three trays, the top one being a sieve, which sit in one another. Fill the top one with a layer of pellets, put a handful in the middle tray and that's it.
Whenever you clean the litter tray, first use the scoop to remove the poop, then simply pick up the trays and give them a good shake from side to side. The pellets which have got wet will have broken down into sawdust which drops through the sieve into the middle tray, any excess urine which has reached the tray will also be absorbed by the pellets already there
After a few days, or when the middle tray is starting to get full of sawdust (depending on the number of cats), simply scoop out any undissolved pellets from the middle tray into the empty lower one, add a handful of fresh to the tray, sieve and start again.
We have been amazed just how little of the pellets we have (not!) consumed in over a week even with four cats. We would typically fill a small seven litre dustbin with waste litter in six days at the most, I would estimate we've barely created three litres of sawdust in ten days so far.
The resulting sawdust is also amazingly good at stopping any urine odour and can be spread on the garden, where it breaks down quickly, or added to the compost bin (our option), or simply disposed of in the household bin.
The sieve and trays are made in a variety of colours and are large and robust - they should last many years. There is a tray starter pack which includes 3kg of pellets, the pellets are available in multiple bag sizes and both hardwood and pine scent.
Once the initial investment had been made (after all you're buying multiple trays, not just one) I anticipate that the Oz-Pet litter and trays will more than pay for themselves in money and in reducing smell and waste. We actually ordered a second sieve tray which fits inside one of our existing trays for more capacity.
If you are sick of having clay or crystal or paper litter tracking through the house, of buying sack after sack of litter and still having that lovely (!) ammonia smell greet you every day, give the Oz-Pet litter pellets a go. You can probably just try with your existing tray if you're willing to scoop out back and forth for a few days. I honestly believe you won't look back.

transferred to my name by Petbuds in writing). The unit failed within days... waste leaked through the base onto my floor, the weight sensor registered 40kg on an empty drum after following Petbuds' own recalibration steps, and no safety pause triggered despite the fault, which put my cats at risk. Petbuds confirmed in writing, twice, that they would refund me by direct bank transfer. They then refused to process it, imposing conditions with no basis under Australian Consumer Law, including demanding a statutory declaration witnessed by a Justice of the Peace and photos of my drivers license. When I lodged a complaint with WA Consumer Protection, Petbuds failed to respond within the required timeframe and the matter was escalated to conciliation. When I sent a formal letter of demand by registered post, they replied that they would not pay and that the matter should be decided by a third party, despite their own written refund commitments. I am now taking the matter to VCAT (legal tribunal). If you buy from this company, be aware of how they handle warranty claims when something goes wrong.

small for larger cats, not even fat, just longer breeds, they don t fit. “I purchased a Scooper SE the 10th of March 2024, it gave me so many problems I can’t even count them. The reports have never been accurate so I never used those functions, I don’t use the wifi connection anymore as it kept disconnecting constantly, it’s slowly dying as the motor when running is getting noisy and slow and now I can’t even use it anymore because the plastic lid inside the unit keeps falling down and beeping preventing it form turning when it needs to. I want to be refunded. I had infinite problems with the Face Recognition Feeder as well and I am not going through the same nightmare. I am not willing to spend months of emails back and forth, I know this product is not up for the price I paid for it just a few months ago, same as the feeder which I have been refunded for. The only thing I am willing to do is sending it back for a refund.”
