The purchase experience started well with a great price. The inclusive delivery was an unexpected bonus. The delivery timeframe was super impressive, especially since the order was placed midday Saturday - delivered Tuesday to regional NSW! The delivery process was on-time and professional - friendly guys. The entire experience was super impressive - happy to recommend!

From the online purchase to the customer service, delivery team & after sales service - I cannot fault AO. Professional, courteous and on time - well done. Would recommend every day of the week.

Bought a washing machine. Delivery was quick - by the next business day as promised. This was terrific. Also, the Sales executive did a very good job on price matching.

until 21 May - ok, bit long but accepted it. On 21 May was advised that fridge was damaged so cannot deliver. On 29 May was advised again that another fridge was damaged & could not deliver - geez how unlucky am I. Advised a special urgent order being place thru Sydney branch with new deliver date 12 June. On 12 June advised delivery between 3-5 but of course it failed. Was promised that definetly Monday 15 June I would have fridge. (not hopeful). Monday morning texted a tracking number with delivery between 5-7pm and also a phone call advising me the fridge was damaged - um seriously which one is it!!! Delivery driver advised me a at 5pm he had no fridge to deliver - failed again. By this stage I had had enough and demanded a full refund which I did get. This was 67 days of frustration, broken promises, lies & dishonesty. WORST EXPERIENCE.

We had a Westinghouse fridge delivered to our second floor. The delivery guys were very polite and efficient. They also managed to take our old fridge away, which was a bit larger than the new fridge. They plugged the new fridge in and gave clear instructions on when to turn it on. Fridge is working well. Item we ordered online was not going to be available for a lengthy period of time so it was replaced by a similar but more expensive item at no extra cost to us. Excellent customer service.

On 24th June, in light of no delivery and no correspondence, I phoned to enquire about the status of my order. I was informed that they still don't have stock and I'd either have to wait, for another few weeks, or receive a refund. I asked about an alternative and they offered me a similar sized freezer, from a different manufacturer, at a 25% higher price, with no compensation. I chose a full refund.

I am miffed that I waited, almost 2 months, for a product which they did not have in stock and which they continued to advertise (albeit at a higher - still on "sale" - price).

To not have the item that I ordered, in stock, nor to acquire stock in a reasonable time, and yet to continue to advertise the same product, and to offer me a more expensive alternative, is, in my opinion, bait advertising, A practice which is illegal, as far as I understand. I believe they they should be taken to task, by ACCC, accordingly.

Based on this experience, I cannot recommend such a shoddy (and seemingly fraudulent) company.

Can't be trusted — "bait and switch" is the best description. I ordered a washing machine online, and during checkout was asked to select a date for delivery and removal of my old machine. automated response: "You'll be called 2 hours prior to delivery, and again 30 minutes prior." Great...

Then, hours later, I received a chat request asking for my order number — and was told the item was out of stock and not due back until the end of August, 30 days away.

Nothing on the website indicated it was out of stock or when it would return. The system happily let me pay, book a delivery date five days after ordering, and take a day of annual leave to be home — for a machine they knew they didn't have.

Good job leadership team for having such robust processes in place. Clearly more interested in taking the funds than mentioning the goods weren't available for weeks.

Very disappointing warranty experience I am extremely disappointed with how Appliances Online has handled a faulty Rogerseller sink mixer purchased for our new kitchen renovation. I want to acknowledge that the staff I dealt with were polite and helpful. The issue is not with the individuals — it is with the warranty process and the lack of urgency in resolving a genuine product failure.

Despite providing the requested information, we have had to repeatedly chase updates and are now being told we need to wait further while the matter is investigated. This is incredibly frustrating when the evidence has already been provided and we are left without a functioning kitchen tap.

A faulty product can happen, but the real test of a company is how it responds when things go wrong. Unfortunately, the after-sales support and warranty process has fallen well short of expectations.

Customers should be aware that while purchasing from Appliances Online may be easy, getting a genuine fault resolved can be a very different experience.

Have just had excellent service from a most helpful, friendly and competent young man - Joshua - sorting out a complex issue. We have been long-term customers of Appliances Online and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Ordered a new washing machine at 3:35pm on one day and delivered, installed and old washing machine taken away by 9:10am the following day. Great end to end service and the delivery/installation agent had a wonderful customer service attitude! Great experience!
