the issue was not resolved. I returned again within the warranty period and explained that the problem mainly occurs at night, which cannot be properly tested during store hours. Despite this, the store relied on limited in-store testing and concluded that the phone was working, without addressing the specific conditions under which the issue arises.

On 14 February 2026, I was offered a partial refund with removal of parts and no warranty, subject to a 7-day deadline. Consumer and Business Services (CBS) later confirmed that this deadline is not part of the store’s published terms and conditions (https://www.grphones.com.au/terms-and-conditions-2/)

I sent two follow-up emails but did not receive any substantive response until now.

My concern is not only that the issue remains unresolved, but also the reliance on limited testing, the inconsistency between the stated position and the proposed refund, and the lack of engagement after the matter was formally raised.

I had samsung s23 plus bought from Kogan and not happy at all. Bought new samsung s24 phone from GR PHONES they help to transfer data and setup my phone. Way cheaper than Kogan and best in store service provided. Show reply

technician first to confirm availability and pricing. When they did, the technician advised that I would only receive $350, even if the phone is in immaculate condition, as they already have 6–7 phones of the same brand. If this is the case, your website pricing should be updated to reflect the actual amount being offered. Advertising a significantly higher trade-in value and then offering less than half in person is misleading and wastes customers’ time. Also, saying that I was “saved a trip” to Allenby Gardens is not accurate — I had already made a 40-minute trip to Campbelltown based on the information provided on your website. Please ensure online trade-in values match in-store offers to avoid confusion and inconvenience for customers.

I go to their shop and my old phone was damaged and they ordered new phone for me and repaired my old phone as well at very reasonable price. Their service was very quick and good. It was just done in few hours

I got screen replacement on my newest 17 pro max. They are honest about what parts they use as they gave me two screen options- aftermarket and genuine Apple screen before the repair which developed my trust on them. I opted for the genuine screen and got it done in just two hours. Saved me from buying a new phone. Will definitely go back.

GR Phones Sefton Park lies lies lies money grabbing scum. Sold me a iPhone with faulty volume and a non genuine battery and charged $488 found out later that Amazon and eBay sell that same model for less than $200 with genuine apple parts took it back for refund boss told me to fuck off. Also do their own reviews to make them look good. Beware they are real [Content Removed]. Should be shut down.

I didn’t hear anything from them the day I took it in, but received a call mid-morning the next day saying they had identified the phone needed a new screen and charging port. I asked what the price would be and was quoted $195 for the better screen and $149 for the charging port, so $344 in total. I agreed to have it repaired believing that I had already paid a ‘deposit’ of $50, so I would have a further $294 to pay once complete. Again I was told it should be ready later that day. It wasn’t.

I called the store the following day at lunch time to ask if the phone had been repaired and it apparently had. They hadn’t bothered to let me know, but fine.

I went in to collect the phone and was told I owed $344. I questioned the amount and was told the $50 had already been taken into account. I reluctantly paid the amount as I wanted my phone back and was told they would email me an invoice.

I waited an hour after receiving my phone to see if they sent me an invoice. Nothing. I emailed them to ask for one and was sent a general invoice with no breakdown of the costs, just a total amount. I asked for them to send me an itemised one, which they sent shortly after. I questioned again where the ‘deposit’ was and they replied ‘please see attached invoice for your records. $50 which was paid is not included in parts replacement price. That $50 was allocated towards to water damaged cleanup. So price what we quoted after assessment that was additional price on top of $50. Hope that has cleared your understanding.’

Well obviously it didn’t clear up my understanding!

I was just going to leave it at that and move on but I noticed I no longer had FaceID. My phone said there was an issue. When I looked into the parts and service history on my phone, it advised that non-genuine parts had been used…this despite it clearly stating on the GR website that genuine Apple parts are available. I emailed them again to ask if genuine parts were used and received no response.

My advice is steer clear of these guys as they were not transparent and in my opinion provided a very unsatisfactory experience.

did not tell them it was a DUAL SIM that you COULDNT GET HERE IN Australia, is beyond ridiculous! I had to take these clowns to court and was compensated. GR phones claimed they ''replaced my motherboard''. It was never replaced they just replaced my old phone with another!) and no evidence was provided to the court of a BILL OF SALE FOR THE MOTHERBOARD. Also, the invoice to me they had the model number with THREE MISSING LETTERS at the end!!! The AMERICAN MOBILE means I cant even upgrade to 4G! I found GR Phones to be dishonest and deceptive.
