Really impressed with GroutPro. The team who organised my quote were great to deal with, and the technician did an amazing job. My shower recess honestly looks like new again. Very happy with the result.
This company is highly professional and Dean was very impressive in explaining the quote and what it entailed. eg time taken to complete, use of materials , any noise factors and costing of the job. Dean and his co worker were on time, neat and tidy with the work and the finsihed porduct was excellent. We used GroutPro to prepare an investment property prior to sale. We booked them for tile cleaning and re-siliconing two bathrooms. The end results of both cleaning and siliconing were awful. However this was not done and the end result was as if no work had been done in the first place. If testing had been done, we would not have had them perform the work in one bathroom let alone two bathrooms.
The silicone work was of such poor quality that GroutPro needed to come back and perform the work again. It was messy and the wrong colours were applied. The second job was not much better, however we did not want them involved in any further rectification.
We requested a discount due to the poor workmanship and the lack of any effect from their cleaning. They declined and chased full payment aggressively and repetitively threatened a credit rating report.

Avoid GroutPro. Damaged tiles, so many that as I’m getting quotes to redo the shower, they are shocked at the terrible workmanship. White grout was asked to be used, which it is far from it, it looks like different colours as if the supply of that colour ran out. [Name Removed] was unprofessional taking phone calls throughout the entire job. Avoid GroutPro.

When [Name Removed] arrived, his first comment was “oh, it’s a big shower”, despite having seen photos and measurements beforehand. He completed the work in under three hours and did not do the second shower that was agreed upon. He seemed in a hurry to leave.
After inspecting the job, I identified multiple issues that fall below reasonable workmanship standards. In several areas the old grout has been left in place and simply covered with a thin layer of new epoxy grout. Silicone was applied over mould, discoloured and mouldy silicone was left in place, and in some sections grout was completely missed so there are visible gaps between tiles. Other areas show inconsistent and messy application, with grout smeared across tile surfaces rather than properly packed into the joints.
I raised these issues with [Name Removed] and made two formal complaints to GroutPro on 6/6 ([Name Removed]) and 9/6/26, but received no response. I was declined my request to speak to the owner. I was also never sent an invoice for this work. Eventually I received one under a different business name (“AB Shine Maintenance”), which I did not engage, and it included an additional $265 above the agreed $1,000 price which was already agreed to and paid!! [Name Removed] advised he would attend to rectify the issues on 20/06/26, but did not show up and has ignored my calls, texts and emails.
Overall, the job was incomplete, poorly executed, and followed by a complete lack of communication or accountability from both the contractor and company once issues were raised. Unfortunately I am left with no choice but to pursue this as a consumer law matter.
Follow-up · The owner has made no meaningful attempt to rectify this other than providing a generic AI generated slop email along the lines of "we will continue to work through the matter". warranty for any further water leaks. It was ok for few months. Water started leaking again. I pinged the Grout pro team and no response, looks like my number was blocked. I sent an email to Grout Pro administration team to schedule someone to check the issue. No response.

Don’t bother, after sucking you in with a professional quote & paying a substantial deposit they fail to turn up. When contacted they tried to change it to another day as I stood in my empty house waiting for them. The team member who was finally sent did a good job in half the time allocated however had to work his guys out. Not very professional for an expensive service.

more. I already had a quote from another company for $100 less than the GP original quote, but with all work included. As both quotes were comparable, I assumed all work was included and decided to go with Grout Pro as it was recommended by a family member. I showed the other quote to the technician on the day, who advised that I would be better going with it. I cancelled and was told I would not receive my deposit of $697.29. I emailed Grot Pro and explained the circumstances, but was still rejected. I understand the inconvenience this caused on the day, and realise a callout fee would be reasonable for the inconvenience, but $697.29 is an excessive callout fee. I feel a refund, would have been appropriate, given that the quote did not include everything that was discussed originally with the consultant. Unfortunately, given my experience with Grout Pro and the way I was dismissed when I explained the circumstances and requested a refund, I CANNOT recommend them.

Very poor communication – I’m very confused by this company. On two separate occasions I called them, asking to come and regrout my bathroom tiles. The first time the guy came around to have a look (I wasn’t home), but never followed up with me. The second time nobody turned up at all. I will not be contacting this company again.
