The Rami the pest control guy went beyond trying to help with a painful Possum and rat that are living in my roof - climbed walls and fences for me - and this was day one of service.

Great experience with Rami N, he was punctual, professional, and took time to give explanations on the service. Would highly recommend him for all pest control services in a heartbeat!

stated guarantee of 3 months external and 6 months internal. I was also advised that cockroach activity may increase initially and that a follow-up may be required.

From the first visit, I already had concerns about the effectiveness and thoroughness of the treatment.

6 January 2026 As cockroach activity was still present, I contacted the office to request a follow-up within the guarantee period.

9 January 2026 I received a written booking confirmation for a “Call Back Treatment – No Charge.” On the day, the appointment was cancelled last minute due to the technician being unwell.

17 January 2026 I called to postpone the rescheduled visit to 20 January due to heavy rain in my area.

21 January 2026 – Full Day Wasted The appointment was scheduled for 7–9am. At 8am, I was told the technician would arrive 10am–1pm. At 12pm, I was told 2–4pm. At 3pm, I was then told they could no longer attend at all and suggested postponing again.

I had spent the entire day waiting, rearranged my schedule, and stayed home, only for them not to turn up at all.

This was extremely frustrating, especially as I had already spent weeks moving furniture into the centre of the house, leaving my home in a messy and inconvenient state while waiting for their service.

I insisted the service must occur the very next day.

22 January 2026 I was told the technician would arrive around 11am. He arrived at 12:15pm.

Final Outcome

The technician briefly looked behind my fridge, identified German cockroaches, and then demanded payment for a second treatment.

This directly contradicted:

Their written “Call Back Treatment – No Charge” confirmation

Their stated service guarantee

What was explained at the time of booking regarding follow-up treatments

When I questioned this, the technician contacted the office. The office staff repeatedly insisted that no payment meant no service, regardless of the guarantee or written confirmation.

I even offered for them to proceed with general cockroach treatment only, without the specialised German cockroach application. They refused unless payment was made.

The technician then walked off without performing any treatment.

Final Thoughts

This experience was exhausting, time-wasting, and unacceptable. Knock-Down Pest Control does not honour their guarantees, repeatedly reschedules appointments, wastes customers’ time, and then pressures customers to pay despite written confirmations stating otherwise.

I am extremely angry and disappointed. Zero stars. Highly NOT recommended.

I genuinely hope no one else has to go through the same frustration I did.

Two guys came in and did job within 10 mins. I am not happy with the professional that came in to do pest control. I had to tell them where to spray chemical as they were too lazy to move furnitures and they did not spray chemical in every corner. I think they are not qualified enough to carry out job. who came out in September said he did my windows and eves. He lied. I dont know why. A few days later there were massive cockroaches on the nets. Thick spiderwebs and I saw a spider. When I rang for a call back they treated me like a liar. The next day they sent me a child for the call back. He was barely 16 and he rang me asking for directions he was lost. When he got inside I kept pointing to the windows and eves and he didn't understand. Then he said it didn't matter because it was "only a call back". He kept spraying poison into the air missing the eves completely. Since then I have been seeing large cockroaches inside my apartment everyday. It was a waste giving my money to these people. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Rami N, came to the house and was fantastic, really friendly, noted all the areas that needed support and also noticed we had mice that needed to be taken care of. I appreciated his attention to detail and support of all our areas. So far we’ve seen a decrease in pests, though he’ll have to return in 2 weeks to finish the job.
