(I even called her as I thought I was being scammed), Steph was super efficient and dealt with any queries I had in a timely matter, happy for me to call at any time and just get anything cleared up which is nice!
I was kept informed the whole journey and everything went smoothly, boat arrived in perth roughly a week of after the predicted date but that was more to do with the Fremantle unloading side that made it late. can't recommend these guys highly enough and will be sending anyone that I know looking to move stuff around Australia or oversees their way.

Door to door delivery was 10 days, insurance included in the price, and everyone I dealt with super friendly and helpful. We used McPhee freight to ship our new seaweed harvesting vessel from Victoria to Fremantle. We went out to tender, and although some of the other providers were cheaper, what impressed me about McPhee’s was the quality of the service and that the there were no hidden costs. Follow-up · It was quite a drive to the drop off area, in our case west of Melbourne and we were lucky to have another car to drive home in. The pick up in Perth was also a distance away from Perth, we got there by public transport and walking. In both cases we were well aware of this on booking and planned accordingly. The car was in perfect condition on pickup and the tracking worked well as far as I was concerned.

Follow-up · The car was in the same condition before it was picked up by McPher Freight. Sue was extremely helpful and explained the process of what would happen. We chose McPhee Freight because they are a reputable business. The price was competitive with other companies that I had never heard of.
Follow-up · To answer some of the questions: The car was strapped down on the ship. We did track the journey on our mobile phone. The transit time from memory was about 2 weeks.

was told, "Good luck, they won't do anything about it." Unfortunately, that turned out to be exactly what happened.
The customer service team was extremely disappointing to deal with throughout the claims process. Rather than genuinely investigating the issue they were dismissive, unhelpful and unwilling to take responsibility despite the evidence I provided. The entire experience was extremely frustrating.
I trusted this company to transport my vehicle safely, but it was returned damaged and they failed to stand behind their service. I would not recommend using this company based on my experience.
Unsatisfactory Service – I purchased a XY 71 GT Falcon Ute, I put my vehicle in the care of McPhee Freight. I received my vehicle tampered with including having the secured custom built tonneau cover removed/stolen. came to their OWN conclusion and stated "The tonneau cover must have blown of while on the back of their truck while on route to the wharf for loading" The probability of this even happening is extremely low to impossible. I believe that someone took advantage of a rare high performance vehicle that came into someone's sight. The fact is that I did not even get a apology or a personal call from management, not even a claim form to lodge for loss of or damages to my vehicle. The photos showing the vehicle being collected, the photos of the vehicle being delivered, they still deny responsibility, even though the vehicle was in their care for a month. I know there is a lot of positive reviews, but All is good till something goes wrong. Unfortunately, my vehicle was the target on this occasion. Why have customer service department when you don't carry it through? Extremely upset former customer. I now have to leave it in the hands of the law.

Do not use McPhee – Nearly missed my flight when moving state as they did not clear the toolboxes on my ute with the third party carrier after specifically asking them to.
