I sent in my iPhone for resale. They informed me it was locked and I needed to unlock for them to process it. I followed their instructions. They continued to say it was unlocked. I followed their instructions again. Again they told me it was still… Read more

locked. I call Apple customer who confirmed I had unlocked the phone and they could process it. They denied this and when I requested them to send the phone back to me as it looked like we couldn't resolve the issue they told me they had disposed of it. No warning, no email. They just threw out my perfectly good iPhone. What a waste of time and money. It feels like they stole from me, I feel scammed.

I have been here several times. Junior is always nice and patient, helping me with my trade-ins. He’s professional, friendly, and really knows his stuff. Because I live in SA and this business is located in Melbourne, it meant that I'd need to send my phone to them. Apparently, I could have gotten a prepaid envelope sent out, but I just decided to pay the postage myself (with insurance) and send it directly to them without having any delays. After it was delivered, within only a few days of processing, I got paid for the full agreed amount that was on the original offer.

I really couldn't be happier; the whole process was simple and, most of all, hassle-free. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone wanting to sell their old phone.

cracked screens are considered “damaged.” My phone had some scratches, but no cracks. I was therefore expecting the advertised $550.

Instead, I was offered $275 — the price associated with partially damaged devices. After raising my concerns, the customer service team acknowledged there were no cracks but still failed to honour their own definition of "fair" condition. Eventually, they offered $300, which still falls significantly short of the originally stated amount.

To make matters worse, I presented a written offer from Mobile Monster for $460 and expected this company to match it as per their so-called price match guarantee. Rather than honouring that, they dismissed the clear evidence and gave their own speculative assessment of what Mobile Monster “would” offer — ignoring the actual email I provided.

Finally, after I declined their revised offer, they agreed to return my phone and said I would receive tracking details immediately. That was two days ago, and I’ve received no update or tracking information.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable from start to finish. I would strongly caution others to avoid this company — their policies are misleading, and their customer service lacks integrity.

the only issue being what I considered to be an extremely small 2 mm long hairline scratch. My offer was then reduced to just $60.

By this point, the entire process had taken one day short of a full month. I accepted the lower offer because I didn’t want to wait even longer to have my phone returned. While I understand refurbished phone companies need to inspect devices, I don’t believe such a tiny scratch justified a 50% reduction in the quoted value, and the overall turnaround time was far too long.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t use this service again.

than anticipated, but they offered to dispose of it for me. Very annoying! Then had to wait for it to eventually arrive back to my PO Box, after which I sold it on MarketPlace for double their original offer!

Used to be a good service. Not now. They say 3-5 business days to get paid. I’ve been waiting 5 business days now with no update on when I’ll get paid. The company uncontactable. Joke
