Pet Circle Insurance

We are very happy with Pet Circle Insurance. We had to use it for our cat Audrey when she suddenly became ill. Pet Circle processed our claim quickly and efficiently. We have since taken out more insurance with Pet Circle for a couple of new additions to the fur family.

There is no point to having this cover as you cover nothing but charge $55 a month for all the extras, etc They consider most services to be preventative. Do not purchase they also charged me and then had to reimburse me because they did not apply two months free at checkout would not recommend not worthwhile or good value for money. One claim which they rejected took over two weeks to be processed.

Another claim submitted to Pet Circle Insurance (this is our 5th) and again resolved and reimbursement paid quickly with little fuss. Have only good things to say about Pet Circle. Show details

My current insurer was asking $1,800 to renew the policy. After shopping around I found Pet Circle was offering very similar cover for only $650. Haven’t had to claim anything yet so not sure what the after sales service is like Show details

of over three weeks, before having to reach out myself directly via phone for an update. While it is understandable to have the odd delay, it is more important to communicate this clearly and in a timely manner to keep customers in the loop and feeling valued. For a worried pet parent, indefinite waiting is not a light feeling. A simple reply of receipt/acknowledgment is not only courtesy, but would have made the difference, and would have taken very little time. This came across as deeply unprofessional and distasteful.

Considering the premiums paid, I would have expected better customer service. I will be thinking twice next time and have taken my fur babies to another insurer. It is a shame as the parent company is always great and responsive.

I cannot fault my experience with my pet circle insurance at all. Once a claim is lodged, they have reimbursed me within a week, and they've been great. Their email claims system is buggy for now--my vet clinic's emails tend to get lost in their inbox. But it's speedy if you upload the invoice directly to the insurance portal and let them contact the clinic directly for notes. I'll update this review if anything changes. Show details

No contact details such as a phone number on the website. Even taking into account understandable delays, processing of my claim was very slow. I only got a reply when I emailed a complaint.

Have been with them for 29 months and paying monthly only to find out I’m not insured as they were unable to verify my cats vet details. Only reason I found out is because I emailed questioning re refund for claims I put in in May. months. And after I emailed them telling them how disgusted I was they tried to take out another $51.06 last night even though they took the monthly payment out on 24 Sept!!! ‍

They’re a joke!

I held pet insurance policies with Pet Circle Insurance for my two dogs this year (2025). I was double-billed at the start of the policy ($386.88), which took multiple follow-ups and around two weeks to be refunded. Pre-approval requests submitted in August required several follow-ups and a phone call before I received a response in September.

Several of my emails went to unmonitored inboxes, which created further delays.

When I requested cancellation effective 20 October 2025, I was advised it would instead be cancelled 15 November 2025 to align with billing cycles.

Based on these experiences, I decided to move my pets to another insurer.

I like the “no frills” approach as there’s no need to cover for all of the things that we expect to pay for our pets anyway like yearly consults and vaccinations, registration, worming etc. All these types of covers just increase the premiums. I made a claim recently for an event where my puppy had chewed the wrapper of rat bait - it had been blown into the garden. The claim was easily made and was quickly processed. The pup is well and is only 9 months old. This is the first time I have taken out pet insurance, and I think it has been a very good investment. Show details

The policy pays 75% of claims. I have been with them for 2.5 years. I have only made one claim to date. The insurance service was very efficient & the Uni Vet team submitted Bonnie's claim for me so very hassle free. I’ve had to claim twice on my insurance and both times the claim process was super smooth and easy. The first time I had to give previous vet details so they could get my pets history, the second time I only had to upload the vet receipts and the claim was paid out the next day. So much of a stress reliever! Great premium price as well so I have no hesitation in recommending Pet Circle insurance. Show details

Customer Service is excellent. 1st claim submitted took 15 days to resolve. I waited knowing with the 1st claim they do a pre-existing assessment, but I initially thought 2 weeks was excessive, since the problem was an bite from another cat (no pre-existing there). (Vet said they had no record of Ruby 'Smith', because Ruby was listed as Ruby Atkins, my husband's last name). Pet Circle resolved it very quickly. Lesson learn - make sure the last name of your pet at the VET matches the last name on the Policy. The only down side was they didn't contact me to tell me the VET said they did not have my cat on record. Upside - my 2nd claim was settled in 1 day. Again Excellent Customer Service.
