Just get any other freight forwarder, do not use these guy's!!! – They caused a $725 fee for 1 day storage at one of their associate companies, the goods were held in ransom and every day was $355 more. When asked what was going on I received very rude treatment. I never write reviews but I feel so intensely ticked off that I will keep writing reviews for these guy's. Really bad cant believe the response I recieved – They have a whole section on their website on dietary supplements. I call to speak to a broker and am told sorry we do not do dietary supplements but we used to. Ok if you no longer do this remove the link on your site. will go into bat for you but these cowards just give up when it gets too hard and that is the last thing you want with your broker. Avoid this place it will end in tears they do not like hard work and they still advertise services they no longer offer because they are too lazy to remove a simple link.

Sofa delivery – Prompt and helpful delivery. Unloaded sofa and helped to place it in my garage. Called beforehand which was very thoughtful carried it up the driveway with my son which I would not have been able to do

Leave the detail to the experts – I contacted Peter McRae as soon as my Chinese supplier sent me the necessary paperwork. After that it all happened without intervention on my part. Peter handled everything with effortless professionalism. His communication with us was always on-time and accurate. I used Platinum before and will do so again, without doubt or hesitation. I am an irregular importer and just want to leave all the detail to the experts.

Excellent Service – It was my first time importing a container of goods. 2 weeks before we were able to recieve our item, and cost us so much more than it would've had i done it all myself.

Platinum Freight is the worst company that I have dealt with in recent time. Save you money and go elsewhere! I wouldn't allow him to represent us again even if it was simply an empty cardboard box being imported.

they’ve given me a wrong date of arrival for my shipment that has caused additional expenses for storage fees, than instead of an apology the director has advised me that it’s not his problem and suggested to look for another broker, which I happily did. Finally got the shipment cleared and delivered by another broker and continue working with the other company with no dramas whatsoever.

Poor response to request for quotation, followed by bad attitude and being blocked on FB Page – I was looking for a customs broker to assist with customs clearance of an LCL (less than container load) sea freight consignment, and sent a request for quotation to this company and others via email. After five days of no response, I added a comment on their Facebook Page sharing my frustration.

Within one hour this comment was deleted from their FB Page and I was blocked, as well.

[name removed] from "Platinum Freight - Customer Care" had suddenly also sent me a REPLY to my original email that he was unwilling to respond to five days earlier:

"We are unable to assist.

Please choose another brokerage.

We are a premium customs brokerage not a cheap brokerage - as per your email below.

Thank you for allowing us to explain the non-response.

Regards"

That lingo is ridiculous and his lack of response is certainly not "explained" on the basis of his perception that I was after a 'cheap' brokerage - no where in my email did I even use the term 'cheap'. What I did explain in my request for a quotation was that this was personal effects of low value and that the charges should reflect that.

By admitting that he finds it perfectly okay to NOT even respond at all, when he THINKS his potential customers will not earn him enough money, is a disgraceful show of character!

I am glad I did not enter any contract with Platinum Freight Management Pty Ltd this time, because I was also considering a customs broker service for an upcoming and ongoing import business.

I cannot recommend this company, based on my experience.
