Bought my ute from WA and had it delivered to QLD, organised by the dealership, PrixCar got it here a week early filthy from the trip but no damage so no complaints. Online tracking was a bit confusing and wasnt updated as quickly as you’d like, however Charlene from the customer help desk was very informative and followed up with her team to get me answers Would use PrixCar again Show details ·  1

Overall good experience, prompt communication, clear timeline, car pick-up and delivery were within the prescribed time frame, and drivers called to advise ETA. No damage or scratch on the car. The only downside was the delivery being one day late - hence, 4 stars! Show details

I recently used PrixCar to transport my ute from Queensland to Tasmania and, unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I paid over $3,100 for the transport and expected professional service and for my vehicle to arrive in the same condition it was collected. While the vehicle arrived on the promised delivery date, the online tracking… Read more

system was frustrating. During the final week it repeatedly showed that my ute would arrive the following day, only for the estimated delivery date to move forward each day until the actual delivery date.

The biggest issue was the condition of my ute when it was delivered. I found scuff marks and scratches along the side of the tray and numerous additional stone chips across the windscreen.

I lodged a damage claim with PrixCar and exchanged several emails with them. Throughout the process I disputed the tray damage and the numerous additional stone chips on the windscreen.

PrixCar's position was that the tray damage was already present and simply not obvious in their collection photographs because of the camera distance, angle and lighting. After comparing their photographs with the condition of my ute on delivery, I do not agree that the photographs clearly show the tray damage I am referring to.

I have also attached a copy of the collection Vehicle Condition Report with my personal information removed. As can be seen, no damage was recorded by the driver at the time of collection. PrixCar acknowledged during my claim that the driver did not complete the condition report correctly and advised that this had been addressed internally. Despite this, they relied on the collection photographs to decline my claim.

I also raised my concerns about the numerous additional stone chips across the windscreen. PrixCar maintained that the windscreen damage was either pre-existing or excluded under their transport conditions and declined to accept responsibility.

I gave PrixCar the opportunity to review my concerns before posting this review, but they ultimately declined my claim.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend PrixCar.

We had two cars delivered from Darwin NT to Orange NSW, was able to see tracking updates online, one week from pick up to delivery to our front door. Could not be happier with the service we received. If we are ever in need to move a vehicle again, we will 100% use Prixcar again Show details ·  1

Very good service – I got a quote for $998 (open carriage option) to transport my Mazda CX30 from Perth to Melbourne. PrixCar gave me a call the day before collection and let me know the timeframe. On collection day 27 Dec 2024, the driver called me to know that he was 10-15mins away. He was very friendly and warm. He had an enclosed truck, which was very relieving.… Read more ·  1

I asked him how my car was going to get transported to Melbourne because I never had any experience with this. He told me that it was via train and even though it said “open carriage”, in reality, it would turn up as “semi-enclosed” with how it was going to be set up on the train. And because of this, I shouldn’t worry about having stone chips and scratches, too. The ETA in Melbourne was 6 Jan 2025 and they did stick to that. Pick up day was fairly straight forward. The staff member asked me to check my car which was parked just outside of the collection centre. I cleaned my car very thoroughly before I handed it over to them in Perth so that I can take note of old vs new scratches. I only noticed a very light collection of dust and water marks on the roof. Other than that, my car still looked prestine. I told her that I’m happy with it and she handed over my key and signed off. I’m very glad this all turned up well because PrixCar had mixed reviews and I just really had to bite the bullet with picking them. So, all in all, I’m one of those who is giving a positive review for PrixCar.

All Good With Me – When I read the reviews for this company, I had a few moments of concern. It's a bit like the Divided States of America on this page, with half voting red and half voting blue when it comes to satisfaction. The job was to transport my car from a Perth dealer to my door in Sydney. On arrival today, the driver of the transporter messaged me 30… Read more ·  1

minutes out and we discussed access to my property which is at the end of a narrow cul de sac. He obviously had done his homework and decided he could do the turn at the end of the street. He arrived right on time and the car was unloaded and it passed my inspection without any query. No stone chips, scratches or dings. It was just dusty but what else could I expect. Perth is, after all, on the other side of the Nullabor. The driver, Hayden, was most courteous and neatly dressed and his truck sparkling clean and the delivery was completed without fuss. So, I'm on the Vote Good side of this discussion. The dealer chose Prix Cars because they have used them many times in the past. I trusted them and that trust was rewarded. I would have deducted one star had I paid for the shipping myself, because the car spent 5 nights in the Perth depot, 3 nights in the Adelaide yard and a whole week in the Minto, NSW, depot before delivery to me. That's 18 days elapsed time. I guess the dealer bought the cheapest, non-express, uncovered option but he did pay for it, so I can't whinge too much. Just mentioned this for a heads-up if you were wondering how long it can take for a coast-to-coast delivery.

Quick and professional – PrixCar were quick, and easy to get in communication with; I requested an escalation on yesterday (Thursday) as I won't be in town next week - the representative on the phone contacted the Willawong centre and had my car delivered the next day. Most importantly, no damage to my vehicle. 10/10 service. Show details ·  1

PrixCar Service was excellent – I had a Citroen C5 purchased in Sydney delivered by PrixCar to their Perth Depot. Extremely disappointed with my experience with PrixCar and would strongly caution others before using them. My vehicle was returned with roughly $9,000 worth of fresh damage underneath, including clear plastic scraping across multiple panels underneath that was not present before transport. When I lodged a claim, PrixCar rejected it — not because… Read more

the damage wasn’t visible, but because they failed to take pre-transport condition photos. Their own lack of documentation was effectively used as the reason to deny responsibility, leaving me to deal with the repair costs myself.

I also paid around $5,000 specifically for enclosed transport to protect the vehicle. However, the car was left outside overnight at the Canberra depot, and the only truck present appeared to be an open carrier that would have transported it from Adelaide. This raises serious doubts about whether the enclosed service I paid for was actually provided.

On top of this, the vehicle was driven a total of about 9 km while in their care. If enclosed transport was arranged, I don’t understand why the car needed to be driven that far at all. That level of handling increases the risk of damage and again raises questions about how the vehicle was actually transported.

Overall I’ve been left with: • Significant damage • A rejected claim based on their own missing documentation • Concerns the premium enclosed service wasn’t delivered • And unanswered questions about why the vehicle was driven so far

Very disappointing process, poor accountability, and not what you expect when trusting a company with a high-value vehicle.

My vehicle was transported with several noticeable scratches on the rear panel, around waist height. done up with full new paint job with no scratches.

When I contacted the company, they refused to acknowledge responsibility and made the claims process unnecessarily difficult.

I would strongly advise others to be cautious and to expect the possibility of damage during transport.

I wish I could give a negative rating. I dropped my car off at the Darwin depot on 31 December and still haven’t received it. CEVA.

To make matters worse, the online chat support I dealt with was unprofessional, unhelpful, and rude. It feels like once they have your car, you’re expected to just wait and stop asking questions because I still don’t have a reliable ETA. I was told 19 January, then the system showed 14 January but as late as the 16th the car hadn't left Darwin.

Whenever you try to get a straight answer, you get the same copy-and-paste responses about “delays” or “congestion at the train terminal.” I really wish I’d read the recent reviews before booking. Based on my experience, the service has clearly degraded, while the price has gone up.

the location to the driver, and he had gone past. So had to wait again. They said they would try and keep the original delivery date but it arrived 1 month after they had estimated. It sat in Outer Harbour in SA APPARENTLY under 'shadecloth' in a carpark for 3 weeks. Why? It showed up finally and it was in fourwheel drive! How long had they been driving it around like that? The hard cover on the tray was also half locked and half not allowing dust and water to get in, (it was closed and locked properly before it was shipped). DO NOT go with this company. Absolute rubbish. I feel sorry for the service staff that have to field calls about the useless logistical management of this company.

Fast interstate transit, but "last mile" delivery is a total joke I dropped my car off in Minto on Jan 22nd, and to the company's credit, it reached the Truganina (VIC) depot by Jan 27th. — Vesna and Tracy were both very responsive, professional, and helpful whenever I had questions. Communication was clear and timely.

There was a minor stone chip on arrival, which is understandable given this was open rack carriage transport, and it’s something I can easily take care of. Overall, the experience was smooth and well managed.

Would happily recommend PrixCar for interstate vehicle transport.

area (the two lower dents were there before transport). Despite providing photos and sending multiple emails, Prixcar repeatedly denied responsibility and, at times, even dismissed the evidence without a thorough review.
