I wish I could give less than one star, but unfortunately that’s not an option. The products are simply not worth the money, and the manuals are poorly written for an item in this price range. For years, we have requested clearer video guides, yet Teka has failed to provide accessible or comprehensive English-language instructions on how to properly maintain and operate the product.

wrapped around the drum , that was 3 months ago now and still nothing , countless phonecalls , same blame game everytime, the hinge on the door broke as well so the door just falls off, this is not covered of course , so if you are looking for an average dryer with horrendous warranty service and love spending your time on hold then this is the brand for you, actually great gift idea for someone you dislike.

Teka stovetop – We have had problems with our teka stovetop right from the start, we built with metricon and upgraded to a teka stove top. One of our burners does not stay on, turns off automatically and we have to turn it on about 2-3 times before it stays on. been told we have to heat up the base of our pan first before we use it. I have never heard of having to heat up a pan to be able to use a stove nor have I ever had this problem with any other kind of stove. They tried to fix the problem by changing the ignition but ultimately it was just brushed off saying we just have to heat up our pans first. Considering our stove is only just over a year old it’s pretty disappointing and we’re already looking into replacing the whole unit as it is our most commonly used burner that doesn’t work properly!

Teka dryer was ok until it wasn't - service troubles – Our Teka heat-pump dryer was purchased two years ago and has one year warranty remaining. outfit called "Install & Fix", who in turn doesn't seem to have actual service personnel, but instead puts out jobs and sees who wants to take them. In our case, the answer is "no one", as we are still waiting. Calling Residentia again today, I held for ten minutes then got bumped with the message that "no agents are available to take your call."

Residentia did come through in the end, providing a refund for a product purchased two years ago and still in warranty. Kudos for that, but if I had been out of warranty, I would've been out of luck.

I will be purchasing a F&P product this time. More expensive, but with service I can count on.

We are in love – Recently purchased a Pyrolytic SteakMaster with SteakGrill 700ºC Oven. Hands down the best oven I have ever used!! Well done Teka for making such a beautiful and versatile piece of technology. Everything from cooking the perfect steak to fish and so many more functions we're still yet to explore. The customer service team here in Australia are amazing to deal with and have kept us up to date each step of the way with our orders.

5* Reviews for Teka are mostly fake – Click on the profiles that give 5* Reviews - you'll see almost all are from people who created their accounts in the same week and and have only reviewed one thing. At least 14 of them are fake. - 10 are from accounts created in the same 2.5 weeks between August 14th and Sept 1st. 2021 - 4 are from accounts all created June 16th or 17th 2021. - All 14 reviewed Teka (the company) 5*. One of them also reviewed a Teka product 5*. None of them have reviewed anything else

Love my new Washing Machine – Bought the TFLW10 - 10Kg washing machine & loving everything about it. we are a family of 5, who wash times per week. My Teka Washing Machine has been brilliant. Stylish and easy to use – I have Teka cooking appliances in my home and I am so happy. They look amazing and are easy to use. The reason I bought them is that I wanted European appliances and I wanted black appliances. Appliances fit for a chef – We have two teka ovens HLB860, the coffee machine CLC855GM, and the steam oven HLC847SC. They look absolutely amazing and the functionality is the best I’ve used. I’m a chef by trade and the food I cook comes out perfect every time. The appliance are easy to use and they look amazing. The 5 year warranty is a real plus to give me some peace of mind knowing I am covered. I am very happy and would recommend to everyone  Show reply

Perfect for my family – I have the teka washer TFLW10 and teka dryer THPD70 at home and three little kids. The washer and dryer get used daily and they have never missed a beat. The dryer doesn’t blow hot air into our laundry like our old one and the energy rating is amazing. We are so happy with our purchase and would recommend to everyone . Show reply

Great quality premium European product and great local service – We have a household now of Teka appliances from the laundry, fridge, dishwasher and now an oven, microwave and induction cooktop. Awesome Design - Incredible Product – I have had several different Teka products in my house and have loved them all. The oven looks slick and the recipe feature makes it easy to wow guests. Perfect, cannot live without! – I wanted a something upmarket without the big brands price tag. Was recommended the Teka brand and was blown away with the quality and price. 5 years warranty as standard, product looks incredible and works well. So happy I went with this brand. The products did not work as it should be in our new home from day 1 – We have selected the top of the range cook top, oven and dishwasher as part of our designer home from Metricon. From day 1, 2 burners on the cook top do not hold the flame. When we try to ignite one burner the others ignite as well. Also the wok burner doesn't work at all. pad is not responding. With the dishwasher the plates rack is sliding off the running tracks this makes it very hard to use the dishwasher. Manufacturer & Service provider giving different information. Manufacturer saying they are sending spare parts whereas the service people are saying no spares they'll come and investigate it again after the plumber came and checked it further delaying fixing. Do not recommend this brand to anyone. Cost over $4K

Amazing Brand with Amazing Features – I have TEKA appliances at my home and they have been amazing. My coffee Machine gets used about 10 times a day and has never missed a beat. luv luv luv the Induction cooktop. Going from a gas cooktop to the Induction was simple and it feels like I'm still cooking with Gas the way it operates. The people that I dealt with at the company to arrange delivery wre so helpful they actually worked around the times i was available and didn't expect me to stand around for a whole morong waiting. They gave me an approximate time of the day and on the morning off the driver rang me directly to confirm an even more specific time.

Terrible product/Worse Service – We got a Teka Cooktop as part of a new Freedom Kitchen. It works irregularly and rubber feet on griddles are fragile and break easily and regularly. I have phoned & emailed the company multiple times and right now I’m on hold for 60+ minutes. Going to replace with Fisher & Paykel Steer Clear of this mob.
