Been with them for 15 months. Did not have any hassle with the claims process. Harmonic balancer fault was detected which was throwing serpentine belt off, they agreed to process claim for balancer and all consequently damaged repair items. The experience with AWN was great. I was not expecting that my claim to be approved as I didn't arrange with them beforehand ( cause I forgot I have this insurance). I just sent an email with the receipt of payment attachment and a brief explanation as note from my mechanic about the issue and after 2 hours I received the approved email. I was surprised TBH. short period of time I was fully expecting some push back, which to be honest I would accepted without too much fuss. Much to my suprise, I received immediate approval for the car to get checked out and within a few hours of getting the diagnosis from my service centre, approval for the full cost of the repair.
For the three claims I've had on a vehicle where parts difficult and costly to get, AWN has been incredible. Super fast with their responses and when I've raised an issue, they're really fast to get things sorted out. I would 100% purchase another warranty through them for future vehicle purchases.

Follow-up · Terrible it took 10 months to fix the problem. The fixer told lies about what needed to be done. but never did anything to fix it. Service was shocking, and the stories were getting worse. I would never recomend this person to anyone.

really good on their end. I called and they actually answered here in Australia and not an offshore call centre. They asked for the relevant details which I got from the repairer and then sent an email confirming approval to proceed. mine was a pretty straightforward warranty issue with a known common issue with my model car, but my experience with AWN I felt was pretty easy and being the first time I had to call them, being able to get through in next to no time is a big plus these days. The first claim took about 2 days to approve as there was a bit of back and forth with the repairer to get the necessary info and the second one was approved next day, so that was a really good turn around too.
I welcomed the offer of having my Mercedes C200 insured with AWN in 2023 for old car warraty, 3 years after the expiry of the original warranty. It is as good as the original factory warranty convering mechanical and electrical isses with the car for another 3 years . warranty. 6 months into the warranty I had a thermostat problem and the car heated up , the car was towed to Peter Warren Mercedes and the repair was authorised in a timely fashion at a cost of $5000.00 that AWN paid in full. I only had to pay for the coolant. Now 2 and half years into the warranty and my sun roof decided to malfuction. This was different, it took 3 weeks to get approved. I had to follow up the claim myself and be the middle man between AWN and Peter Warren Mercedes until we ticked all the boxes and all queries have been answered and confirmed with photos. At the end of the day I am so lucky to have taken this policy with AWN, as the cost of he sun roof repair will be close to $6000.00.

grateful because the head gasket issue is a huge job, but they towed my car from the roadside in Dandenong to my repair shop, and the next day, AWN approved the claim right away. Even though $4,000 is a lot, especially with rising labor costs, AWN made a fast decision and covered half, so the repair shop could fix it promptly. Despite the long Easter holiday delay, it all ended happily. My 2009 Pathfinder, which I bought two years ago, was worth every penny, and I highly recommend AWN if you’re buying a used car. It truly gave me peace of mind, and I got my money’s worth—so if you buy a car from a dealer, I 100% recommend you get AWN for your engine and parts coverage.
