Will not insure a Tesla Model 3 – Thought I would give Australian Seniors a try as they have great reviews, but it seems Australian Seniors will not even insure a 2022 Tesla Model 3 LR. "We are unable to offer you cover for your type of car. To find another Insurer go to Insurance Council." Teslas are nearly as common as Toyotas these days. Agent/woman who was spoken to was rude and short with response to questions. They seem to slip in extra expenses and hope you don't notice. You cannot choose to have your car sent to your preferred panel beater. Automatic $1,000 added to bill for being over the km limit regardless that it was not the case and had to be corrected and refunded. an… Read more
additional $500 added if you want to take your car after assessment deemed a write off, and not let the designated panel beaters take it to sell for parts. Assessment was not thorough, just based on what he could see panel wise and guessed there was other damage. Very disappointed with the whole handling of the process. Will be going elsewhere in the future for car insurance. Would not recommend to my worst enemy.
