Blue Sky Carpet Cleaning

While the carpet was wet, it looked ok. As soon as it dried (which took several days, possibly due to the rainy weather also), the spots were all back like before. I was told, they won’t do anything since it was more than 4 days after they cleaned the carpets. The cushions on the two seater and armchairs were clean but almost dripping wet.

Don’t use them – Did not clean my couch, when touched with a white towel a brown dirt came out of it. They would not return to rectify and would not refund. They charged me extra for “industrial clean.” I’ve since read multiple reviews saying the same thing - avoid at all costs.

Booked Blue sky last minute (6:30pm Sunday night) for a Monday clean. They showed up at 6am and cleaned a massive house (5bd, 1 lounge) in an hour. Stain treatment, clean everything. I was a bit sceptical due to the price being so cheap ($260) but they did an awesome job. Carpets looked better than when we moved in! Would highly recommend. Show reply

mum was at the property. There was no effort to communicate or ask what specifically needed focus. After inspecting the carpet myself, I found a stain I was able to remove by hand — something their equipment didn’t manage. Overall, the experience felt rushed and disappointing, with more effort put into trying to charge extra than actually doing a thorough job. Thanks, but no thanks — I’ll definitely be asking more questions and choosing more carefully next time.

We had a excellent experience with Bluesky Carpet Cleaning. Sam from Bluesky was prompt and courteous over the phone and answered all our questions. This was our first time to have our Carpets and rugs professionally steam cleaned and they exceeded our expectations. We are very happy with the final result. Technician arrived on time and was very professional and thorough. Our sofas and rug had collected dust from moving and having small children and are now looking new. Machines used were large and powerful. Job was completed in about 1.5 hours. He left clear instructions on the drying time and when to use the sofa again. Waste of our time. Left the lounge dirty and stained and when contacted they advised the tech couldn't get the cushions off but asked if we wanted the back cleaned. UPDATE: I lodged a complaint with the Office of Fair Trading, who contacted Blue Sky Carpet cleaning to negotiate a resolution and Blue Sky refused to participate. next step is QCAT but I'm honestly not wasting another minute on this company but going to find someone who can fix their terrible work.

ORIGINAL COMPLAINT: They left stain marking on our beautiful couch, making it look worse than before, it's clearly their cleaning product which was not cleaned off properly.

As I didn't notice immediately as the cushion was facing away, I didn't contact them straight way. When I did notice the staining and asked them to rectify it they said I would need to pay $100 for the technician to come out again as it was outside their 4 day guarantee window. We even offered to bring the affected cushions to them to clean but they also refused this generous offer.

They did not meet the Australian Consumer Law which clearly states that services must be provided with due care and diligence, and if not a free remedy must be provided. I also told them they it is unlawful to tell a customer they have no warrantee or guarantee as consumer rights extend beyond the companies own warranty and apply for a reasonable amount of time. I will be following up with the Office of Fair Trading and ACCC as I can see in other posts below they have exhibited this unlawful behaviour before.

UPDATE - lodged a complaint with the OFT and despite being in the wrong that declined to provide reconciliation but instead pushed blame on the customer. AVOID THIS COMPANY, as any complaints will be completely ignored.

Arrived on time, very knowledgeable. Explained to me the time it will take to dry and the variables with the fabrics. So quick and polite. Will be using again! Show reply

Highly recommend, I had a great experience with Bluesky Carpet Cleaning. We hired them to have our Rugs and Lounges steam cleaned and I was stunned to see the transformation. I compared other companies in regard to quality and price and no other company came close. Worth every penny.

DO NOT TRUST these people. They are total frauds. . They will ruin your belongings, leave your carpet / couch and house smelling of harsh chemicals for weeks on end, only to leave your carpet / couch left in worse condition. They need to be reported to fair trade .

house! The lounge was NOT stained before the clean (as they have claimed) or "covered in dust and dirt". It was only after cleaning that the brown -water like- marks appeared all over my lounge. I had to take off the covers and wash them in the machine but obviously I can't do this for the base. Unacceptable result!
