I was booking from a recently received imagine brochure and the price that was stated for an azamara cruise in feb 2027 was different to what i was charged. Why do you advertise a price in the brochure and then charge a higher one when booking. Iam not blaming the consultant but how come they have a different price to the one advertised.  Show details ·  1

We booked a European river cruise and flight package through Imagine Cruising in August 2025 for cruise in June 2026. Our bookings were made long before the conflict in Iran started. We were a little concerned about the safety issues with flying through the Middle East during the conflict, which was contrary to the Australian Government advice not to travel through this region. Fortunately, our flights were uneventful, with a smooth transit through Dubai.

Subsequently while we were in Europe, our return flight From Dubai to Brisbane was cancelled. The initial alternative flight arrangements offered by the Emirates were very inconvenient with the original flight from Amsterdam to Dubai retained, but then a 34 hour transit stop in Dubai as part of the replacement booking. Emirates provided no information about accommodation in Dubai airport during this period, or compensation for the delay to cover any additional expenses.

We contacted Joshua at Imagine Cruising to ask if a more convenient alternative flight from Amsterdam to Brisbane could be found on our behalf. Joshua responded to our request very quickly and with the assistance of the Imagine Flight team (and within only 36 hours), they found a much more convenient alternative flight booking from Dubai to Sydney, then a domestic flight to Brisbane. This booking required us to stay overnight in Sydney due to the very late arrival of the international flight from Dubai, before catching a domestic flight to Brisbane the following morning.

This rapid response to our request allowed us to continue our trip in Europe without the ongoing concern about getting home.

The altered flights and accommodation were provided at no additional cost to us and we were very pleased to spend a night in Sydney, rather than 34 hours in Dubai airport, especially since there had been a breakdown in the Iran ceasefire and a renewal of the nearby conflict.

We appreciated the speed of the responses we received from Joshua and the convenient alternative flight bookings arranged by Imagine on our behalf. It made for a relaxed ending to an enjoyable European trip during these troubled times.

Hong Kong - I had requested upgrade to Business Class and suggested I fly Cathay direct to Brisbane Was told y Imagine Staff member Philippine Airlines was an earlier flight so I agreed without any investigation. Fellow passengers I discovered were flying Cathay was departed earlier despite what Imagine had advised me. Considered Philippine Airline Business Class inferior in every respect. Have been advised by Imagine company no longer will use this Airline.

I have booked 3 future cruises whilst on last cruise and gave IMAGINE AS MY PREFERRED TRAVEL agent. I enquired and was told by Imagine same service as previously supplied would apply (booking flights to New Zealand and overnight accommodation prior to departure). Informed agent I wished to go a few days early. Considered flights offered were not acceptable in relation to time and no option was provided.

In view of the overall attitude displayed by staff member advised I would attend to airline booking and hotel accommodation myself (as a separate matter - morning flight I booked which arrived mid afternoon (respectable hour) was cheaper than what Imagine offered).

I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL AND VOCAL SUPPORTER OF IMAGINE IN RELATION TO ALL PRIOR BOOKINGS BUT THIS LATEST EXPERIENCE HAS GIVEN ME CAUSE TO RE-CONSIDER ANY FUTURE DEALINGS WITH THE COMPANY IN RELATION TO PRE AND POST CRUISE AIR FARES.

HOWEVER I CANNOT PRAISE AZAMARA ships AND THEIR STAFF TOO HIGHLY AND WILL CONTINUE TO TRAVEL WITH THIS SHIPPING LINE.

Booked last minute so little time to think it through and investigate further, basically had to pay in full on the day to secure the booking. Don't really think this is reasonable. requirements for the ports of call. This is the clients responsibility. Although clearly stated by Imagine Cruising and quite transparent, this seems something of a "cop out", Imagine are cruise experts and are in a sound position to offer clear advice. Have also expressed disappointment at embarkation arrangements. After overnight in hotel required to check out by 11:00, transfer from hotel booked for 13:15 (be there 10 minutes prior to pick-up) and embarkation check-in slot assigned by Cunard is 15:30. A lot of sitting around waiting while we would prefer the opportunity to explore Cape Town. Honestly feel we should have made transfer arrangements ourselves. Emailed agent advising our concerns but no response to date.

All customer service personnel were extremely helpful and professional and two in particular went above and beyond, Kerry and Hailey. I would have no hesitation in recommending Imagine Cruising holidays. Show details ·  1

The assistant (Grace) was exceptional with her details and assistance given. Very helpful in all areas when questions were asked about detail of the trip. Price increased from the advertised cruise by $2,000 for a couple and then reduced by $1,000 after some discussion. Very awkward and created considerable hesitation in continuing!! Was concerned that it may have been a scam as these sites are not always what they claim to be.

I saw an ad for TravelZoo for a tour and cruise in South America. I contacted our regular travel agent who couldn’t help so I contacted Imagine Tours (as advised).
