They have (and Bree has) definitely reduced the stress of moving across the Bass Strait, because I started to panic when I realised it could be a tight turnaround. The operator for muval was quick to take a deposit, but then put a comment in the notes that led the removal company to think the job was too big. Muval requested a photo of everything in my storage to show them. My storage is in another city. A detailed inventory had been provided. Waste of time.

I found Bree excellent, with great communication skills. I changed the move date and location, Bree just adjusted and keep in touch. Shortly to have furniture shipped so can’t comment on the move but can’t recommend Bree highly enough. Great service not too pushy just enough to keep things moving. Thank you.

Misleading service - not clearly disclosed as a third party aggregator. During my call, I was told they had “their own removalists” and that it was a “door to door service”. When issues arose, responsibility was shifted to the third party, leaving no clear accountability.

I did not proceed with or receive the service, and my chargeback was resolved accordingly.

I recommend documenting all communication (calls and emails) so there is a clear record of what is promised.

We booked our move through Muval and it was subcontracted to a removalist who did a negligent job. Items were severely damaged and some were never delivered. not take responsibility for the subcontractor they engaged. In our experience, the warranty provided no real protection when things went wrong. We regret paying for it. Read the fine print very carefully before booking.

Confirmed my booking on Sunday for the following Saturday. Heard from my “agent” on Tuesday who told me they were waiting for removalists to confirm. higher price and could only do Sunday. Not ideal but with such short notice I was stuck with them. Finally confirmed a removalist on Thursday night with an email advising they would there between 8 and 10 with a call half hour before. By 10am no phone call, nobody showed and I had no phone number that I could contact that morning to find out what was going on. 2 guys finally showed at 11am with no prior call. The truck they brought was not big enough so it required 2 trips and therefore cost me more. I wouldn’t recommend Muval as a service - I felt abandoned and was so angry on the day. I suggest you look for recommendations from your community because they’ll be more reliable and you’ll be able to connect with them directly.

Bree was very helpful in getting information and pricing to suit my needs as they changed. Bree was also really responsive and quick in getting information to help me. Even though I didn’t go ahead with the move I am really appreciative of the help Bree has given.

Bree was able to provide a competitive , cost effective quote for a removalist to assist me relocate my belongings from two storage units in Melbourne to Cairns. She patiently waited for me to return from overseas and did not put pressure on me with high email contact and constant follow up phone calls. Very friendly and responsive, trusted her industry knowledge. Highly recommend !

Muval helped me book my move with some great movers and made the process so easy! I didn't feel stressed about my move day at all and knew all of my items would be taken care of, and they were! The move was relatively short as I didn't have many rooms to move and it wasn't over a long distance but it felt like it went so quick, before I knew it all my stuff was at my new house and I was ready to start setting up!!

This is my second time using Muval and I would definitely use them again. It was really easy to compare quotes online, and the price I got was significantly cheaper than other moving companies I looked at. Angelo on the booking team was also really lovely to deal with and made the whole process easy. The removalists were friendly, professional and took great care with my belongings.
