Was warned not to use cheaper freight for delivery, paid extra for a tailgate delivery. When they arrived the freight company was asking for help. Oz Best Dealz were able to fix the issue and I was happy with the end result.

Oz Best Dealz has a good product range for my car, with a great website & very competitive prices One of my products purchased (see photo attached). evidence that this e-bike is unsafe to use and has a major fault. The seller has failed to meet their obligations for consumer guarantees, stating that the manufacturing warranty is only 3 months and I would have to purchase the part to repair.
I have an obligation to ensure a child doesn’t get injured to using this product, and will be reporting it as an unsafe product and get assistance from the ACCC.
Follow-up · No support from the supplier. They have requested that I get a report from a qualified e-bike tech. Still refusing their obligations.

2022 Isuzu MUX, both equipped with standard 50mm square tow hitches.
Unfortunately, the rack we received had a very squared-off tongue that did not fit any of the tow hitches on our vehicles and was larger than the size of the standard tongue that fits a standard 50mm receiver. We reported the problem to Oz Best Dealz and provided detailed photos showing the discrepancy, including the difference in corner-to-corner size and the shape of the product compared to the standard tongue.
Despite our efforts, resolving the issue was challenging. The customer service team requested a video demonstration of the fit issue, which was impractical for us due to the rack's weight and our need for additional assistance (we needed three people to do the video but only have two, one to hold and install it and one to video). We offered various options to resolve the issue. However, these suggestions were not accepted. Instead, we were asked to provide a video or bear the return shipping cost to get a refund.
According to ACCC, sellers are obligated to provide a remedy for products with major faults. Although often the buyer is often responsible for the return shipping cost, in the instance of heavy items such as this rack there is a provision in the law for the seller to cover this cost. Throughout this process, we proposed multiple reasonable solutions, including having the seller visit us to inspect the issue firsthand. Our emails demonstrate the fitment issue in the form of photos of what the standard tounge looks like and measures at V what the product looks like and measures as in comparison.
We posted a review of our experience on their website around the middle of May, but as of the date of publishing this review on Product Review, the review on their website is not visible. As of today, the website shows many happy reviews, but our own experience is invisible to others on their site,
Ultimately, PayPal issued a full refund, resolving the financial aspect of the issue. While the rack itself appears to be of excellent construction (despite this fault), the experience highlighted some areas for improvement in customer support.
Follow-up · So a few years later this site has asked if we have a follow up on the product. Our review never did get published on their website and the seller never responded to our queries why, it highlights what others have said about moderated reviews. Their handling of the issue has been slow, dismissive, and inconsistent with Australian Consumer Law. I’ve since lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading but the matter remains unresolved... I’d caution others to be very careful before purchasing from this business.

exchange. I sent another photo of the box it came in showing that there was no damage on the box, but the product was cracked. They responded 2 days later saying they would email me a label to have the item returned. That was 10 days ago and still nothing. Worst customer service. This has been going on for 4 weeks now. welded to the tray, that would need to be removed with a grinder to install, damaging the tray and voiding warranty...
It has been 5 weeks since reaching out to them with no resolution in sight. I have sent pictures, videos, RETURNED the item as they requested. Since receiving the item back they have not replied.
This is a $1200 item, returned in perfect condition, that if advertised again correctly, would probably sell but they wont acknowledge or resolve. They may have already sold it again anyway.
Avoid buying from these guys if you can. I've never had such a problem with buying/returning a product before.
Follow-up · The return process wasn’t great. Lots of miscommunications between Oz and the courier. They called and offered to compensate me with either a credit or a free item once they saw review so that’s nice I suppose.

The roller shutter for the ram 1500 is great. Assembly requires two people as I found out the hard way. But can’t complain. The roller shutter does what it is designed to do. Purchasing was easy and shipment was fast.

GO TO ALI EXPRESS INSTEAD! at least there if its wrong or damaged they refund immediately!
UPDATE as of 15/09/2025
I have finally recieved a full refund. It was confirmed I was correct with the fact that the mounting kit was incorrect.
The customer service only improved after making these public complaints. I agreed to update them upon reciept of a refund which is what I have done.
The product itself is well built and would have looked great, the let down was the lack of communication or understanding from Ozbestdealz.
They have gone out of thier way to get my refund done but it doesn't detract from the how far I had to go to get someone to listen. I hope they improve the processes so this doesn't happen again. Not everyone is trying to get something for free, if people say it's wrong or doesn't fit then take it.
I would order from them again in hopes that they learnt from this complaint.

Would give a zero if i could. terrible service, template does not match the product and there excuse is "it is not being installed by a professional". Can't actually leave bad reviews on the products on their website as it is moderated. Literally have ex ARB fitters working for me and even they are saying it is not right. pretty sure id take ARB workers word for it over "Oz Best Deals"
