Overall sentiment toward ReadySet Insurance is highly positive, with customers primarily expressing satisfaction regarding the ease of purchasing policies and competitive pricing structures. While many note that the true measure of an insurer depends on the un-tested claims process, the initial experience of setting up coverage, modifying dates, and speaking with support staff is well-received. Consumers frequently recommend the service for its straightforward digital interface and value for money.
I found ReadySet Insurance very comparable with other quotes. We have an existing medical inclusion and were happy with the price within the quote. The website was easy to navigate and very clear with questions. We are very happy with ReadySet Insurance. Show details

Please please read the definitions and conditions if you have a beloved relative (mother) who is over 83 and otherwise very well, who passes away and NOTHING is covered. Never again Ready Set. Show details
Follow-up · Comprehensive travel insurance, they have an age limit on close family relatives for covering emergency trips home and cancellation. We have lost thousands on flights and a tour + all travel insurers we have used before or since DO NOT have this limitation. Please read the fine print.
first time buyer that didnt end up buying. got a quote $110.09, tried to pay for it didnt work. rang them up after so many emails of asking for help, they gave me a quote of $123. and refused to help any further. if it is so difficult to get assistance, imagine if you have a claim Show details
Follow-up · The same. I rang again. The company proves to be impossible to deal with . Their quote does not match payment request
The policy was easy to set up and the price was excellent. The cover I selected was as good as others I researched. Show details
Follow-up · I have not yet started my holiday and I hope I do not have to make any claims.

We have not left yet but the online experience was quick and straightforward. Their premium was very competitive and their extra medical screening process (and their price) was even better. Show details
Easy to take out a policy, then cancel it so as to take out a more comprehensive policy with them Price for coverage was very reasonable. My goal is NOT to have to use the policy to make a claim. Haven't claimed yet! Show details
So far, so good. Purchased our travel insurance from ReadySet Insurance online, very good price for what we needed, very simple and straightforward process. Not travelling until 31st October ‘26, and hopefully will not need to make a claim. Show details

When my wife broke both L leg bones at the ankle in Bali surf, our experience with ReadySet increased the trauma, anxiety and outright pain for 4 weeks following: Going to the nearest hospital and calling the ReadySet emergency line, - we were told by the Surrey (England team) that treatment would be approved; - the hospital was not told by the… Read more
Jakarta managers (PT Global) for over a day; - we spent that time in emergency department; - I called ReadySet medical management again and again, with different people answering, each needing to 'get up-to-date' with the case, and promising to get back; - x-ray showed severe breaks; for which ReadySet decided there was no good care in Bali and medical evacuation to Australia (where ReadySet would not have to pay for medical treatment) was preferable; - no examination by a medical practitioner had happened, so the recommendation was based purely on ignorance and prejudice; as an experienced health worker and human services executive, I have never experienced such poor medical assessment service, decision processes and case management; - after 28 hours in emergency, and a hassle getting an ambulance approved and ordered, we transferred to a private hospital with whom ReadySet has a contract; again PT Global did not pass on approvals in a timely manner, and adequate pain management was not provided in the first hospital because of this failure; I had to keep calling to get ReadySet to jump on PT Global to communicate decisions to the hospital; - the second hospital had the same problem getting approvals, resulting in a further 24 hours in emergency there; - I had about 12 calls to Surrey in the first 3 days, without adequate followup, no matter who I talked with or what was said; this was very distressing to my wife and myself; - it took another week before the necessary operation was approved by ReadySet and made by an excellent orthopaedic surgeon; the hospital was excellent, but getting approvals for many aspects of care continued to prove difficult, with ReadySet's Surrey medical team uninformed and off-hand; - my wife was in hospital 12 days; after which we stayed in Bali a further 3+ weeks (total 60 days instead of 30 days there) for recovery; ReadySet would not repatriate now, 'until she could fly business class'; - ReadySet was not across the fact that there are no business class flights (with leg-up seats) on Bali to Australia routes, because the planes are small; - eventually ReadySet book her three economy seats to repatriate.
Overall, I recommend to everyone I speak with not to buy insurance from ReadySet, as medical emergency is not not managed to any acceptable degree, and was damaging in its ineptitude.

Had to make a small claim and they knocked it back instantly. I Wouldn't recommend this travel insurance as there is plenty of better ones out there who actually care about the customer. Show details
I simply wanted to add an extra day due to flight issues. No I had not started my trip. Why didn't any of the people who read my email or spoke to me not see my holiday starts next year. It took too long. The lady I spoke to in the end was fine its just the re reading of everything again just to add a day. Show details

Hard to say, never needed them. Convenient to purchase from them and a budget friendly price. So for that, they get 4 stars. Was thinking of 1 star, since they asked me if i was happy with their product 3 days after purchasing... How could I possibly know in such a short time? First time using ReadySet, and no claim was lodged. If they are still… Read more
the best value next time I travel, I'll try them again. Though they get no loyalty from being a standby emergency that I have had zero contact with.
The representative was so kind and helpful. My reason for cancellation was due to a cancer diagnosis and was very sympathetic and resolved the problem immediately Show details
The Travel Insurance area is a minefield. Many choices from many companies. After doing some research like comparing and reading reviews, I decided on ReadySet. The whole process was quick and very easy. We have both got pre existing conditions, and ReadySet covered them all. I thought the amount we paid for the insurance was very reasonable and comparative to the other companies. I am very happy with ReadySet. Show details
Second time I've used Ready Set to travel overseas. Website easy to follow and uncluttered. Offers good coverage at reasonable prices. The real test is the service you get in the unfortunate event of having to make a claim. Policy provides peace of mind. Cheers, R. Show details
Have never used this insurance company before nor have I ever set one up online but I found it quite easy. Hopefully I will not need to make a claim but if so I hope it is as easy. I did a comparison check and it appeared to be good value. Show details

i purchased travel insurance with ReadySet online. It was quite simple to work my way through the questions etc. Even with some minor health issues my cover was good and quite inexpensive. Why would anyone travel without insurance? Show details
This was very easy to buy and asked all the usual questions re health. It is underwritten by Lloyds so a reputable company. Hope I don’t need to make a claim. But hope a claims procedure would be as good as buying the policy. Price was great . Show details

Easy site to navigate, well set out and all options clearly explained. Great experience thus far: from obtaining our quote to purchasing our chosen cover The real sign of full satisfaction cannot be realised until, God forbid, we have to make claim. The process of declaring medical conditions was frustrating. You can't declare conditions that aren't on the drop down box. I called the helpline and they said they couldn't record my injury as it wasn't on their list, even though it's a very common sports injury and I explained the diagnosis. They also classified a bone injury as a soft tissue… Read more
