Over the last six months since someone was out here last, I am realising the gains of my battery and system. I toyed with the idea of a battery and crunched the numbers based on cost v benefit over 10 years. I reached out to three suppliers including the installer who installed our solar panels. installer based on service. From the get go it was apparent that RESINC were customer attentive and focussed. A zoom meeting was set up in February and we went over my usage. Based on my usage a 10kwh Anker Solix X1 battery was recommended. An installation date was set. Even though they installed the system after 1/5/2026 they honoured the rebate that was applicable prior to 1/5. The installation went like clockwork. The installer guided me through the app. A follow up zoom call was arranged two weeks later. They fielded my questions and showed me how to input my TOU times and rates. A home visit was arranged in July. We went over data. Talked about the best rates particularly supply rates and off peak rates. Alternatives including free saver and VPP plans. My current provider was adjudged to be the best fit at present. They said that they will check in on me every year to see how the battery is going and possible ways to get better outcomes. I have found throughout the process that RESINC have been highly attentive and informative. With service like that what more could you ask for?

The after sales service has been largely positive, with follow up check-ins to ensure we are getting good use of the app and maximising our savings and energy management. The post in-person check-in, which lead to this review, was mixed; rather than providing any meaningful advice, it seemed to be largely focused on gathering feedback from us as users and gathering a testimonial/review. Again, consistent with the initial sales service, it was too heavy handed despite the two men being pleasant enough. In terms of the app mentioned earlier, it's simple to use and easy to understand, even though I don’t check it often. Our first bill showed a substantial saving -- going from $300 to $30, so it's well worth it. I'd definitely recommend solar to anyone interested in saving money, increasing the resale value of their property and reducing their environmental impact, and though it's been a relatively short period, Resinc's equipment, installation and availability for support seems solid enough.
Take your time and get three companies around to talk you through their products and installation. Do not rely on zoom for a polished spiel backed by a professional presentation. Certainly the Resinc staff who contacted us (my wife) throughout the installation were polite, friendly, helpful and apologetic. We wanted our colorbond roof painted before installation so our delay last year was at our request. Subsequent delays were contractor driven. Some of these were understandable with high winds and extreme temperatures causing safety concerns for the workers. In essence though the contractors did not finish till 3 February 2026 in a saga that commenced on 26 November. Communication with the contractor was problematical throughout as to when workers would turn up, what needed to be done or why delays were happening. The contractor pointed the finger at Resinc for ordering the wrong parts/equipment. Who knows what happened other than I am unhappy. As an aside the initial progress of solar panels on my roof inspired my neighbour to install them on his. Not quite as many as me and not the same batteries but his was up and running in two days. Be careful and good luck.
